Both my husband and I have had eye procedures done here and at St Mark Hospital with Dr Bradley and Dr Hoopes. The facility is very impressive with the latest equipment and surgical areas. One section of the building is for Lasik and the other for cataract and other procedures. The staff in the clinic, front desk and billing are excellent. They've been very communicative and helpful when situations have arose with insurance issues. Dr Bradley is an excellent doctor and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. They have free cookies and bottles of water while you wait. And if you check in with the Yelp app, you get a surprise goodie bag. I had LASIK done here a month ago. I went from not being able to see more than blur inches from my face to better than 20/20 vision. I was afraid my eyes would be too bad to improve. Fortunately not. Dr Bradley was my doctor. He and the rest of the staff were super polite and thoughtful. Everyone asked if I had any questions or concerns, but everyone else had already answered them. I started knowing nothing. They showed me all of the hardware, some videos, and had all the answers to any questions I had. I was quickly comfortable in their hands. I came back that weekend for the procedure. The procedure itself lasted maybe 3 minutes, and my only complaint was the pressure on the eye (like getting flicked on the eye in slow motion), but that only lasted seconds. Went home and took a nap. Drive myself home after the next-day checkup. I never had any pain that Tylenol couldn't fix, and even that was just for the first day or two. Great staff! Great work! I have been very impressed with my whole experience at Hoopes vision. From my first appointment to my last, they have been nothing but friendly and courteous. The staff there are wonderful. I had had Lasik surgery done two years ago. I personally had a pretty bad astigmatism which resulted in me never find any contacts the worked well for me, so it was either wear glasses or go without for me. I was a little nervous that my astigmatism was to big to qualify for surgery and was relieved to find out that I was a good candidate. Buyer beware, In 2005 I paid a handsome sum for Lasik and was very pleased with the results. They even did a touch up on my left eye shortly after. I paid extra for the Lifetime enhancement. Here we are in 2019 and I am wearing corrective lenses because I can't drive without them. I went to Hoops to get them re-done and exercise, my lifetime enhancement clause that I paid extra for. They told me they could fix my sight but it would cost me an extra $350.00. I thought lifetime enhancements covered lifetime enhancements. I inquired why there was an additional cost, they said my vision isn't bad enough to use the lifetime enhancement. I can't drive without correction, how is this not bad enough? read more

I was not aware they have age restriction for Lasik surgery, this fact was not mentioned when I made the appointment or when I arrived for the appointment. I passed the qualifying exam, then the doctor came in and explained due to my age I am outside of their qualified candidates for Lasik. I was charged $150 and sent on my way. I traveled 60 miles for this appointment and wasted a day. I wish they were up-front with me before making the appointment. read more

Had LASIK/PRK at Hoopes and they caused blepharitis in both eyes. This is a very painful and permanent condition that causes blurring, irritation, dry, gritty eye and pain. They charge over $4000 for this procedure. They have not provided adequate treatment or follow-up care and will not refund my money. I am back wearing glasses only one year later and my eyes hurt! I had LASIK years ago at a different doctor and it never seemed to be right. Always a bit fuzzy in one eye and astigmatism in the other. I almost gave up until I discovered Hoopes! LOVE IT! My wife had Lasik a few months ago....I've been jealous ever since. I loved the whole experience. There are two parts to the procedure and in between they put you in a full body massage chair. They numb your eyes with eye drops so you don't feel a thing! I never felt pain or haven't felt pain since and it's only been three days since. The staff is so sweet and Dr Hoopes is a funny guy.
