This is a true Chinese place - it's pretty authentic. We got a bunch of different things from the menu but really loved the lo mein& the dumplings. The Peking duck and salt + pepper steak were good too. Service was really good. The food came out super quick & our waitress was nice and helpful. Ambiance was good, nothing standout but met the vibes. Overall I'd come back here

I looked at the menu and for the dry pot, you need to select a min. of seven items from the menu. If doing dry pot, let the staff know, as there's a separate menu for it. I went with med. spice, added: squid x 2, rice noodles x 2, shrimp x 2, beef brisket x 2, pork belly x 2, baby bokchoy x 1, chinese cabbage x 1, egg plant x 1, dry tofu x 2, & enoki mushroom x 1 Yes, added a lot and it's because the menu was not helpful. Lot of the items are singular, couldn't tell if "Squid" meant 1 or 1 serving. If it was 1 serving, how many squids came in a serving? As I wasn't sure, some of them I ended up ordering two. IE: Shrimp, I got 2 orders, there were 9 or 10 shrimps... had I know 1 order was equal to 5 shrimps, I would have ordered just 1. I wish they would update their menu to reflect the topping items so the customers know how many comes in a order. My bill came out to $70, yeah, it can get expensive! It took some time to get the food... but because I ordered lot of items, the food that came out was good for 5 people :) It was good, loved the medium spice and definitely hit the spot. Oh and yes, had leftover and took it home. I thought I was going a good job of eating, but barely made dent in the plate. I brought the leftovers home and had two more meals out of it. If you are in EL area, definitely visit the place and if you go, go with friends to try other offerings. If you are solo diner and ordering dry pot, only order one item of each from the list and 7 items from the list will be plenty for one person. Three stars for now.

It was tough n chewy (overcooked--you need to cook on high heat but quickly so that it melts in your mouth) and overly sweet (need to balance out marinade) compared to my eomeonim's which I usually compare Galbi recipes to. While fat is the flavour you look for, a great galbi is not greasy like this was. The fat definitely was not rendered correctly. A lot of random Asian fusion going on so it can be confusing. . . Lo Mein was decent and will be something I will crave when I want a cheat meal. Overall, it's a nice takeout choice if you don't want to cook/if you're looking for a filling, time-to-pig-out meal --but if your goal is for quality korean I'd opt for something else.

I have had delivery twice and the quoted time was accurate, even in snowy weather! It's best to call directly to the restaurant to place the order versus ordering the money-grubbing GrubHub DoorDash or Eat24. Plus you'll avoid the corporate upcharges and can tip the staff directly! Ordered the lunch specials: Mongolian beef, shrimp in lobster sauce, General Tso's chicken, crab rangoon, and chicken wings. Highly recommend the crab rangoons! I thought the chicken wings needed more time to cook, so I threw it in the toaster oven for another 5-10 minutes and it was good to go. Regular entrees such as beef, shrimp, chicken gets the job done, but it was not impressively crazy flavorful-- umami for sure. I am not a fan of their yellow-colored fried rice, it's typically on the dry side. Overall for a cheap meal under $7, it's super cheap and filling. It is basically two meals for me. But a friend had recommended it so we were willing to give it a try. Overall a great Chinese food experience. The menu says it's a Sichuan restaurant. And they had Sichuan dishes plus the "American" Chinese dishes you'd expect. I see they also do dim sum but we didn't try that. They have a ton of vegetarian options! The server told us that they have been open since about 2011 and they used to only have traditional Sichuan food. Their primary customer base was international students who wanted authentic Chinese food like they had at home. But after Covid there were few international students from China in town and their business was struggling, so they expanded the menu to appeal to American tastes. As a result, the menu is huge! And you can choose between authentic Chinese or American style. We tried 2 dishes and enjoyed them both. We will definitely return and try some others. It's not a fancy restaurant but there are comfortable seats for 2 and big round tables with turntables for parties of 10 who want to share dishes. The staff is a very nice and helpful family. Spicy cold plate chicken: very tender chicken slices with not too hot sauces. Could use a bit more sesame. Fish slices with preserved vegetable soup broth: Soup broth was rich with savory and sour taste of vegetables. Fish slices were a bit too thick and slightly mushy; might want to switch to another type of fish with firmer texture. Nevertheless, this dish is a bargain as it contains both a protein and a broth base (also with some rice noodles). Szechuan-style eggplants: standard. Sauce was too thick for my taste.
