If it were owned by cows, and was a manure processing plant, it'd be Dung Fu Tea. But if that were the case, I think it'd be pretty gross - like, almost as gross as swimming in Lake Erie without a radiation suit on. OK, not almost as gross as that. But anyway. Let's mooooooove right along with this review. What to get: Lemon Black Tea, Any other fruit tea with black tea, Hot Milk Teas. What else: Don't get with random guys from Martial Arts class. You might get a Kung Fu STD. 8 I wanted to take off my pants, but I didn't, because then it would've been Hung Fu Tea. This KFT is one of the cutest I've ever been to. Not only are there plenty of places for you to sit but a lot of those places are very comfortable cushioned chairs, then there's a little couch with a lovely cuddly dog and a giant cuddly bear. If these lovely cuddly creatures aren't enough then there was an actual adorable little dog running around when I was there, belonging to one of the customers. I can't with cuddly animals. 5 stars. I stopped pretending to be a turtle when ordering here. Otherwise it'd be Kowabunga Fu Tea. The guy who is I think the manager or owner likes to show off his muscles in muscle shirts, and I don't know anyone else like that - but he's a very gracious friendly guy. They gave me a sealed large cup of tap water which really came in handy. I didn't need major surgery while in here. If I had, it might've been Collapsed Lung Fu Tea. The restroom is located in the restaurant next door, but there's a way to walk straight through. They own both businesses. It's really a genius idea, if I owned a restaurant I too would consider converting the extra space into a KFT as well because it's just such a popular brand and so good. I don't perform music in the bathroom anymore. Otherwise it'd be "Sung Fu Tea." There are only two Kung Fu tea locations in all of Michigan and this is the older one. The other is in the Detroit suburbs and it just opened this past summer. I asked them both "what is the past tense of I Bring Kung Fu Tea?" They incorrectly responded "Brung Fu Tea." These guys do their sweet Chewy Boba just right and their lemon tea had a decent amount of sweetness and a good amount of lemon and was one of the better ones I've had. They say that every location makes stuff the same but that is not true at all and these guys make it right. I asked one of the many server girls that I love, here, on a date. But then I found out how old she is, or isn't, I should say. So we had to cancel. So it's "Young Fu Tea." As a bonus they are very nice and in a brilliant location. Parking is tough sometimes. But you should be able to find some nearby and shame on the city government for making it so difficult. Just down the road is Momo, another Boba shop. Be sure to try both of them - they're both perfect. And I keep seeing girls (and boys) in miniskirts in this location. Now I know why they call it "Sprung Fu Tea." And of course they're not far from the Detroit area. So the kid making my drink? That Kid Rocks! Now they just need an Eminem flavour Bubble Tea to go with the Oreo. And a big Kung F.U. to whoever Pistons the toilet seat. If he says it wasn't him, he's Lions to us. And did you know Red Bull causes internal bleeding? Yep. You're much better off with Boba. Red Bull gives you RedWings.

I'm a fan of the Kung Fu chain but I'm not a fan of the location in East Lansing. I've been to Kung Fu Tea in Chicago, Philly, NYC and LA. This location is the worst out of the ones I've been to. The boba/bubbles is inconsistent. Sometimes it's good and soft and sometimes it's a little harder. There are times where I've received the right amount of boba (seen in picture) and then other times I received half the amount. What I also don't appreciate about this location is their staff is usually on their phone texting or playing games. During my recent visit, I was the only customer in the shop waiting for my order. I had to wait a few extra minutes because the girls had to finish their game. Everything is pre-made here so there's no excuse to have a customer wait. I hope they improve their customer service and quality because they're not up to par with their other locations.

I am SO excited we finally have a Kung Fu Tea in Michigan!! This bubble tea joint is pretty small but very cozy! The decorations are also super cute!! They had a lot of baristas here, but they also had a lot of carry out orders which made them super efficient. The bubble tea tastes the same as it does at the other locations I've been to (Chicago, Maryland, Ohio). I would recommend grabbing a drink here if you're ever in the area. I got the taro bubble tea here, but next time I'll try the taro slush!

Wow milk with red bean. Excellent drink!

Staff was very friendly in answering any questions I had about the drinks. I got the new Wow milk with red bean. This drink was amazing and is probably the best boba drink I've had in Michigan. The drink actually had a tea taste!

I am a fan of Kung Fu Tea in nyc. I just recently found out they open one in east lansing. It was a must try. And it hit the spot. The coconut milk tea was sweet but not as sweet as other drinks. The place is very cute. You can study while drinking you tea. Its also a nice hangout spot. I will recommend this spot to my friends. This is the goto place for bubble tea now. O ya the wait is prob 5-10min depending on the line.

Mango snow slush

Decided to try four different drinks today since my boyfriend and I are still new to bubble tea. I tried the winter melon milk green tea with bubbles and I didn't really taste any melon. I also tried the seasonal special brown sugar ginger hot tea with bubbles. I love ginger, and this drink was extra spicy. My boyfriend tried the strawberry milk slush with Oreos and it was a little sweet for me, but he loved it! He also tried the mango snow slush which came with mango jellies, and he said it had great flavor as well. I'm looking forward to our next visit to try other drinks as they have a pretty big selection.

Took forever, I can't blame the person working cause it seemed like there was only one person working. They need to hire more staff.

Simply the best fried chicken in town! The bubble milk tea is great, too. They know how to cook the tapioca well.

4.5/5 I will say…read moreeverytime I've stopped by Koi Tea, they've consistently served up the perfect bubble tea drink. I've tried a lot of drinks off their menu, including the one they modified for a seven-year-old who wanted a non-tea, but hot chocolate drink with the tapoica pearls. I'm not sure if it's the workflow of making the bubble tea here that makes it perfect or if it's the individual working the register- somehow it's always worked out. And the ambiance- absolutely relaxing. Nothing beats the YouTube Korean indie and rnb mix playing on TV with the faux vines curving around shelves and the walls, with an open window space concept (tons of light)! Something that I look for with bubble tea places are how consistently their tapoica pearls are cooked through and Koi Tea has been stellar. In previous visits, I've had their viet coffee with pearls, thai tea, and I would likely pick their fruit teas over the milk combos. Sometimes the milk teas end up pretty sweet even when ordered for 50% sweetness.

Koi Tea used to have some of the best boba in Michigan. Unfortunately, things change and the…read morequality here has really declined. We stopped by on our last drive through Lansing and got: Jasmine Milk Tea, 100% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.00) - There was no tea flavor whatsoever in this drink. It tasted pretty much just like sweetened creamer. The boba also did not have a consistent texture. Most of it was way too soft and was basically like overcooked mush. A minority of the boba was only a tad on the soft side and had a good chew, which was reminiscent of the boba here a year or two ago. It feels like Koi Tea mixed two batches of boba together, which is a huge faux pas for any boba establishment. I have no idea what happened to Koi Tea in the last year. Given stiff competition down the road and the quality this time around, I wouldn't go here again.

Honestly the last time we had Jamba…read morenear us is when Target had Jamba smoothies in their food court area like a decade ago before they replaced it with another company. Then last time we had some good Jamba was last year in California, so I ran into this location when I first spotted it in May. The people working here both times were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This is a nice location next to Target on the main strip across from MSU and is also an Auntie Anne's pretzels. We got a large smoothie which my daughter enjoyed and finished every last drop. I got their cloud iced match tea. At first it was not very sweet and did not have enough foam but they were more than happy to remake it. I did not want them to waste, so they just added more sweetener and then it was perfect. I do hope this place lasts. There is another smoothie place a couple doors down and honestly I have seen more customers coming out of the competition and we have been the only ones here both times but Jamba is one of our favorites and plan on returning again soon. Perhaps once school starts back up this place will have a lot of traffic and there are so many things we want to try like their bowls and cold brew.

It's obnoxious that the service is so terrible, so consistently, because this is right along my path home and I'd enjoy the convenience of getting a smoothie every once in a while. I've also gotten bad attitude from the workers for no reason at all. I can remember driving away wondering what I did for them to talk to me the way they did. I was thinking it was taking excessively long, but I didn't make it known. I was just polite and waited for my 30 minute smoothie in the drive through. That's it. I went back for the final attempt today and again waited 15 minutes to order. When I paid, a very unfriendly young male took my card and did not even say a word to me.
