My sister and I always pit stop here when driving between Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids. I am convinced that all of their fruit teas with cheese foam are delicious. The grape is my absolute favorite. You know it's real when there's grape skin at the end of your drink. The Uji Matcha is also good. Just be aware that it is more of a sugar-y, Starbucks-esque matcha, not the traditional earthy tasting matcha. As much as I love Moge, I only gave 4 stars because their tapioca pearls are inconsistent. Be sure to check out their rewards/order ahead as well! read more

I've been to this establishment when I was in another state, and when I finally found out that they were opening one in the area, I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the delicious fruit teas. The first time I went to the East Lansing location, it really surprised me. The interior was simple yet very elegant. As you could see, it was a pretty photogenic place to take pictures of your drinks. The dining area seemed pretty spacious, they had small tables and also counter seats. I've tried a lot of items on the menu, however my ultimate favorite has to be the Cheese Foam Mango Tea. There was sweetness from the mangoes, cheesy from the cheese foam, and the slight bitterness from the tea. I thought that this was perfectly balanced. The service that I got here everytime has been amazing. By far, I think it is the best customer service I have seen for boba in the East Lansing area. Overall, I'll be coming back here pretty often. Ordered the orange yogurt slush with 30% sugar and wow!!! The bottom has a thin creamy yogurt (most likely an Asian yogurt) topped with a fresh orange and green tea slush. This drink is very refreshing, not too sweet and still perfectly creamy. They offer many other fresh fruit slush flavors to choose from. Things have changed since they first came to town in ways that make me more likely to visit any place else: one is they changed their service to the self-order stations which seem more cold when you pay what you do for the product you almost feel some of that cost should be service and now there is none, two- I feel as though the interior seems less clean, and three, I used to not notice the music but whenever I have been now it is Christian instrumental which is off-putting (it's not like it is Chik-fil-a, and there was no religious association when it first came to town but now there is ??) since it just seems so much has changed in the atmosphere and it no longer fits the aesthetic I loved when it first came into town. Personally, I prefer the koala bakery and tea that has moved in downtown now even though it is smaller because there is that kind, personal person-to-person service and the music atmosphere doesn't stand out. As well as, Ding Tea (not downtown) which always has consistently great honey golden boba and has the flavors that I enjoy like Jasmine green milk tea, rose, and winter melon, and at a more reasonable price, personal service and aesthetic with no musical standouts along with places to sit. read more

Grabbed a Rose Milk Tea with bubbles and cheese foam from Moge Tea and the bubbles were a good texture. The cheese foam was also great, but I was expecting more rose flavor and was a little disappointed with how subtle it was. Loved their durable cups, though, and will probably be back to try other items on their menu in the future. Parking is kind of a pain downtown, but there is a structure across the street on MSU's campus that is free on the evenings and weekends and just a short walk down Grand River from Moge Tea. read more

They're out of multiple things (or have discontinued them) yet still leave them up on their menu and their staff doesn't seem to know the difference between things (said the different types of boba were essentially the same and proceeded to ignore what I asked for). My favorite tea at moge tea is super fruit four seasons tea. One of the cash registers told me that all of their products are made with fresh produces, like fresh taro, fresh fruits, fresh tea and organic milk, etc. Quite surprised at thigh quality. read more

Bubble tea is one of my family's favorite beverages. We googled for a place close to where we were and Moge Tee was the closest. It appeared to be busy as every seat was full. There wasn't a line but us behind another family. We realized there were 3 kiosk to order from so we moved to another one. The kiosk has pictures so that was very helpful in deciding what we wanted. For most beverages there was a choice of medium or large some just came as a size already set by Moge. We received a text with our order number, one for the sale and a third one when our order was ready. We waited less than 10 minutes for our order. Moge has two restrooms for one. You can lock the door behind you and it has a label that says vacant or occupied. Moge was clean and bright. Lots of pictures are posted along the counter too if you need to see items visually like me. I'm a fan of popping boba it isn't on the Moge menu. We definitely will visit again when in the area. read more

The kiosks to order on are very convenient, and the menu has lots of options. I have yet to try something I don't like! Their drinks are made with real fresh ingredients too, my favorite are the strawberry fruit tea with cheese foam and the brown sugar milk tea. The staff are always nice and there is never a long wait. The atmosphere is very inviting and it's always very clean. The drinks were fine. But the wait was terrible. I went with two friends and we ordered three drinks. There were a lot of other people, and I understand it would be busy. We waited for 45 minutes for three drinks. The person making the drinks would make seven-ish drinks and then call out numbers rather than calling them out when they were made, which caused a huge group of people to circle around the pick up counter. Our drink numbers were 132, 133, and 134. I got mine first (132), and waited another 30 more minutes for the other two drinks. But instead of getting drinks 133 and 134, it went 135, 136, 137, then 133 and 134. read more

Excellent boba. There are several boba shops around East Lansing now and Möge, while new, is one of the best. They're a little pricy, however I've been twice now and each time tea was vert flavorful and tapioca pearls cooked perfectly. Gotta say I'm really glad they opened up. I got a rose milk tea and it was really good. I prefer my bubble tea to be not super sweet, so this really hit the spot. I also really appreciate the attention to detail, as some other locations sometimes don't have the boba cooked all the way through which can make it a little off. Not here though, the boba was cooked completely through. The cup is cute and trendy and I will definitely be re-using it.
