Thai restaurant inside Lansing Shuffle. Ordered the tom yum fried rice and it was everything I wanted it to be. You can choose your spice level. It was full of umami flavor and the rice was fried just right. Not too dry or too wet. It comes with egg only. Added protein or tofu is extra. I liked the finishing touches of green onion and so appreciated those cucumber slices. This is now my top 3 favorite fried rices.

I went here during lunchtime for a private room business event. I decided to get the crab meat Rangoon nachos since they were recommended in the reviews. Order, give them your phone number and they text you for pick up when it's ready. The entree was prepared quickly and was enough for two people or more. It was delicious but had too much cream cheese for my liking. Finding close parking during lunch time is difficult. I parked at the 219 N. Grand River garage and took a less than 10 walk via the Skywalk. Competitive prices, clean and good service. I would return.

Still love Kin Thai. The Rangoon nachos were so interesting! The orange sauce had a little bit of kick that kept it interesting. HUGE portion!

Food was good over all. The PadThai did have a little heavy on fish or oyster sauce. I do not eat seafood so I probably was overly sensitive lol. Medium heat was great and after 3 bites the heat took over and I was in other by the sauce. Would eat here again

Thought I was going to be getting a boba tea, when you are ordering a boba tea you might expect it to come with boba right? Wrong. The drinks that are advertised as "boba tea" actually do not include the advertised "boba" and it is actually an additional charge. As for the matcha tea itself, it's overly sweet with a gritty texture and obviously is made with poor quality matcha powder and does not taste how quality matcha should. You would expect to get better quality product and accurate descriptions of said products when you are paying $6+ for a it! Will not be returning unfortunately...

    oversweented guava fruit boba

Extremely petty owner yace hang would not let his workers switch a bad drink they made for me. NO boba stores would ever deny that but this restaurant does. Guava drink is too sweet and one sip proves that. Will not be returning.

I don't approve, way over priced for what it is. Trust me, I don't mind spending. But for what it's worth it seems like a rip off.

My sister and I always pit stop here when driving between Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids…read more I am convinced that all of their fruit teas with cheese foam are delicious. The grape is my absolute favorite. You know it's real when there's grape skin at the end of your drink. The Uji Matcha is also good. Just be aware that it is more of a sugar-y, Starbucks-esque matcha, not the traditional earthy tasting matcha. As much as I love Moge, I only gave 4 stars because their tapioca pearls are inconsistent. Be sure to check out their rewards/order ahead as well!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the delicious fruit teas. The first time I went to the East Lansing location, it really surprised me. The interior was simple yet very elegant. As you could see, it was a pretty photogenic place to take pictures of your drinks. The dining area seemed pretty spacious, they had small tables and also counter seats. I've tried a lot of items on the menu, however my ultimate favorite has to be the Cheese Foam Mango Tea. There was sweetness from the mangoes, cheesy from the cheese foam, and the slight bitterness from the tea. I thought that this was perfectly balanced. The service that I got here everytime has been amazing. By far, I think it is the best customer service I have seen for boba in the East Lansing area. Overall, I'll be coming back here pretty often. I would recommend others to try this place if they haven't!

4.5/5 I will say…read moreeverytime I've stopped by Koi Tea, they've consistently served up the perfect bubble tea drink. I've tried a lot of drinks off their menu, including the one they modified for a seven-year-old who wanted a non-tea, but hot chocolate drink with the tapoica pearls. I'm not sure if it's the workflow of making the bubble tea here that makes it perfect or if it's the individual working the register- somehow it's always worked out. And the ambiance- absolutely relaxing. Nothing beats the YouTube Korean indie and rnb mix playing on TV with the faux vines curving around shelves and the walls, with an open window space concept (tons of light)! Something that I look for with bubble tea places are how consistently their tapoica pearls are cooked through and Koi Tea has been stellar. In previous visits, I've had their viet coffee with pearls, thai tea, and I would likely pick their fruit teas over the milk combos. Sometimes the milk teas end up pretty sweet even when ordered for 50% sweetness.

Koi Tea used to have some of the best boba in Michigan. Unfortunately, things change and the…read morequality here has really declined. We stopped by on our last drive through Lansing and got: Jasmine Milk Tea, 100% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.00) - There was no tea flavor whatsoever in this drink. It tasted pretty much just like sweetened creamer. The boba also did not have a consistent texture. Most of it was way too soft and was basically like overcooked mush. A minority of the boba was only a tad on the soft side and had a good chew, which was reminiscent of the boba here a year or two ago. It feels like Koi Tea mixed two batches of boba together, which is a huge faux pas for any boba establishment. I have no idea what happened to Koi Tea in the last year. Given stiff competition down the road and the quality this time around, I wouldn't go here again.
