Gang ped with tofu V2. Gang Pak
Sandy S.

A reliable Thai curry that hits the spot every time. I ordered takeout on a Thursday night and service was quick. We ordered the chicken satay, pad se ew, and tofu gang ped. My husband thought his "medium" wasn't very spicy. I liked the heat of my coconut red curry. The chicken satay is battered and fried, and came with a vinegar sauce my husband didn't care for.

Saltiest chicken this side of the Mississippi... couldn't even eat... they didn't care.

It's Thai food... Think very watery sauce, that is so salty that it's not edible. I ordered pragrapow and was so salty I could not eat it. Told server... she didn't care. Won't be back.

I ordered for delivery...the site said 40-50 minutes and it took 2 hours. The pad Thai was just ok. I also ordered crab Rangoon and ended up with whatever is pictured--I couldn't even tell what it was made of; it was rubbery and gross. This order was almost $50 for just those two items. Definitely not worth it.

My boyfriend and I have driven by the Bangkok House so many times and finally stopped to give it a try. We really enjoyed experience and the customer service was great. I ordered the traditional peanut pad Thai and he tried something different but we cannot remember the name of it. My only gripe was a few egg shells made it into my dish, but other than that it was pretty good. We especially enjoyed the spicy fried rice and appetizers. The spring rolls were delicious and the chicken skewers came over hot coals/fire to warm them up/sauté them. We'll probably try this spot again but will most likely order carry out instead of dining in.

Thai tea-pretty good

Low key - This place slipped my radar several times as I pass by the joint regularly when I visit my friend who lives less than a quarter mile east. The dining area reminds me of typical economy asian restaurants/diners. A slew of tables with not many people around. The service seemed like family owned. Very casual and heavily accented. Very friendly as well. The menu was grand and someone like me, who wants to try everything, was overwhelmed but I settled on something that my tastebuds could handle. The intro was a broth soup with onions and a dumpling or two. I apologize for not knowing the name. The soup could have been my meal, it was perfect and soothing. I'll be back here mid winter. My main course was medium heat. Of course I don't remember the name of the dish, but I do remember the heat and flavor. Thai food, GOOD thai food has both. I had to take it slow and steady. My friend had the well known pad thai at low heat. The taste was a sweet spice and I spent more time digging my fork into his plate than my own. I used his dish to settle the heat. Servings were plentiful, I took my dish home, this was recommended because my host noted the heat would simmer after reheating and the flavors blending. It did but it was still fire. The rice wasn't my favorite, I like a stickier variety but it did the job. Oh and their Thai Tea one of the best out there, I've only had about 4 but this one takes number 1.

Sweet & Sour soup

A very tasty meal, I had to go with my 'no fail dish' Pad Thai. Ordered Hot and it could have had more bite. I recommend getting the spice rack so you can kick it up. Dinner came with Sweet & Sour soup. Ordered an appetizer, Giew Tod, minced chicken in a won-ton wrapper then deep fried.

This place has quality Thai food and is not too expensive. Food was flavorful if not fancy. Presentation was average. Service was good. Not a place for a nice date, but good for a quick lunch or dinner. Thai iced tea and pad Thai were good Beef pad king also not bad. I had seafood combo which had a decent amount of shrimp squid and crab.

Zoup! is one of my colleagues' favorite lunch spots, so I think I'll be coming here pretty often. I…read moredefinitely understand why, they have a fun selection of sandwiches, salads, and soups. The soup selection (unsurprisingly enough) is definitely the most interesting, and they have six soups that rotate daily, which I love, since I hate getting the same old unless it's the ultimate comfort food. They also let you sample soups, which I don't think I've ever experienced, but I'm such a fan. I've sampled the tomato bisque so far, which is solid, and actually had orders of the lobster bisque and the New England clam chowder. The soups come with an order of bread - French or multigrain - and all the soups I've had are good. I probably won't dream of these soups (or any of their other foods) but that's okay. I've also had their chicken toscana sandwich, which was good. Seems like all their food has a good threshold of quality, and the value is pretty fair. I've also tried the cranberry almond sonoma salad - a half salad is a healthy portion, and I like their ability to mix and match soups, salads, and sandwiches for a nice variety. Zoup! knows its model and is doing it well. I also like that they have the nutritional value of all their foods online, and in person, which is helpful for anyone who wants to be more health-conscious.

Eat there often as it is near my business. Good selection of soups and sandwiches. Current I am…read morehooked on the Flatz...pizza like without all the crust.

Gosh, I didn't know what I was missing. This is a true IYKYK! Once you have visited Horrocks, you will return for life. This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! Things that stood out even though I loved everything about this place: -the vast selection of canisters of olive oils -the vast array of different varieties of balsamic vinegars (amazing!) -house made items in every area -house made popcorn with so many flavors, so fresh. -the many, many homemade soups: probably around 20 different kinds and delicious. -a ramen bar, what? -bakery -pizzeria -exotic fruits and vegetables and regulars ones too -the wine bar: sip while you shop. -house-made sausages and cheeses -house-made jams, jellies, local honey -extensive variety of spices, herbs, flour and grains - great service, very helpful. This is a must try and truly a destination. I cannot wait to shop and browse here again!

Everything is ordered individually, so if you want fries wirh your burger, you need to order fries. I ordered the Kolossal Regular Burger ($10). This has mustard, ketchup, plckle & onion on their largest burger patty. The burger was excellent. The meat is of excellent quality and has a very fresh and clean taste. The onions and pickles were very fresh and tasty. The bun was a little weak, but tasted good. This burger currently slips into my Michigan burger ranking at #9. I order the chili cheese fries ($7) with my burger. The fries were good crinkle cut fries, however the chili was very meh. Lastly I ordered a large Chocolate Shake ($6). This shake was fantastic! Easily one of the top 5 shakes I've gotten. The service was excellent! Everyone was super friendly and happy. I always prefer visiting places where people like their job.
