Would not recommend them waiting over 25 minutes for an online pickup order, while asking for updates told same generic response five more minutes. read more

Thailand - Store - Thai Near Me - Lansing, Michigan

I wanted something close by and Thai so I tried this place. Also, only place in area with Masaman "curry", though I wouldn't call what they gave me curry. It was essentially taco chicken, the drippings from the chicken, and the usual items in masaman. I am not coming back. read more

Too expensive for what it is. This 85 characters thing killed yelp. Way to go corporate America.

Just honestly not even close to some of the better Thai options in town. Also felt very weird/uncomfortable the couple of times I tried pick up here in person. It was a vibe and not in a good way. Didn't feel the cleanest, strange comments from the cashier. Lansing has some excellent Thai restaurants. This sadly is not one of them. read more

This is hands-down the best Thai food you can get anywhere! I absolutely love this place! read more

Thailand - Chicken pad Thai - Thai Near Me - Lansing, Michigan

I am never disappointed and love the mild chicken pad Thai! Good value for what you get portion wise. Call in your order and pick it up. Small place but seems clean from what I could see. read more

Glad I found this place! Coming from metro Detroit, we had many great Thai places. Since moving to East Lansing we have tried a few places but none really stood out until Thailand. We had Druken Noodles, Pad Thai, Garlic Chicken and fried rice. All were great! read more

I'm a new customer. I just was introduced to this restaurant. The first time no complaints. The last 2 times I'm just gonna say that the meat to rice ratio is out of order. I ordered the garlic chicken and I might as well call it garlic rice. At least get a scale so you can measure the meat out evenly. I was very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

Probably one of the better thai places in the area but I have definitely had better. I had the pad kee mao and was a bit disappointed. I felt that there wasn't enough sauce (I could barely taste it and there was none at the bottom of the container) and nowhere near enough vegetables. I had maybe 4 pieces of carrot in the whole dish and maybe 6-7 broccoli and some onion that was it. I'm used to most drunken noodles being full of vegetables (carrots, onion, corn, broccoli, green beans, etc.). Other than that it was quite good. The service was fast and the little shop was quite cute. read more

You get greeted with the best service here. It's a small little shop and it's so adorable. Cute little decorations. Always music playing. Wry nice ambiance. And the food is also very very great. I love to order me some garlic chicken. ^.^ The portions are always just as nice as the flavor too. Very filling and definitely a place I would recommend to everyone. read more

You won't be disappointed. Their food is fantastic! Staff is kind and the food always prepared and ready when said. Highly recommend.

Meh. First, do not let photos here fool you, we were disappointed to find this is solely carry out. I believe the existing photos are of the prior location(?) Tom Kah soup was lovely albeit pricy for the serving size. The Pad Kee Mao was plenty spicy but truly no flavor otherwise. Likewise the Panang Kai was spicy, but next to no other flavors...except sweet. I was also disappointed that there were not any other curries on the menu. Overall, it's middle of the road, and since there are other middle of the road Thai places closer to home, we likely won't be going back. read more

Quick quality lunch meals. The price can't be beat for these quality meals. You get your dish, rice, those amazing egg rolls and a drink. Yes do try. I can agree with other patrons that the seasoning is lacking but the demo is not that ethnic and likely prefers blander dishes. It's not bland it's just not spicy. I enjoy it and feel it's well worth my money. I leave full but often order more of the rolls out of gluttony. They are fried crispy and the veggies are still full of spice and juicy. The sweet sauce is the right fit for it. The veggies in your dish, along with bamboo shoots will always be crunchy but hot, not limp or overcooked. The sauces always coat everything and are good to the last drop with the last piece of rice. The rice is often to the side but the meat, veggies and sauce are blended. Noodles will be well coated as well. I wouldn't say this is the best Thai but it has little competition in this area and I prefer it over much of the American fare around. I enjoy the plentiful meat in my dishes that are seasoned and throughout my meal not just a small pile on the side. I like my meat throughout this dish as it absorbs the flavor of the sauce better. The menu goes beyond the lunches and provides many options for the picky or allergic eater. My critiques are the limited hours and payment options. This is an ideal late night spot but it's not open late. Also they only take cash and while I know to bring it, it's not always convenient. read more

Thailand - Mmm - Thai Near Me - Lansing, Michigan

Love Thai food! I'm not from Lansing so whenever I'm there I try something different. I searched Thai food and this was in the general direction I had to go back towards home. Ordered over the phone and when I got there to pick it up there was a small line outside. I got in line and the guy in front of me acknowledged me so I responded with this place must be good if there's a line. He was like oh!, you've never been here before? He took me to the window and said you have got to try this and this and you have to order it this way. Well I had already ordered but since q regular had made thus suggestion I had to roll with it. When I got in and paid for my first meal I ordered a second the way the gentleman in front of me suggested. I live approximately 150 miles away.... so when I got in the truck I took a bite of what I had originally ordered and was more than pleased (Pad Thai, medium spice, chicken) then I opened and tried the suggested meal. I took one bite and closed the box and put it in the back seat so that I wouldn't be tempted to devour it. (Garlic chicken, double meat). Got it home and handed it to the wife where she decided she wasn't going to share! I look forward to ordering the second dish that was suggested the next time I get down there. read more

Wow, fantastic. Spicy Garlic Chicken was on point. I will definitely eat here again. Looks like chen's will have to share this customer. read more

I have had Thai food all over this area but I think this place is the best. Cheap, incredibly fresh, and really tasty. My belly is happy and my mouth is burning with delightful pain! And I am no masochist! Had the pad kra pao (SPICY!) and the pa nang kai and both were awesome. Definitely worth the wait and tight hours. Do yourself a favor and come! Just be sure you bring cash as that is all they accept. read more

Overall: 3 This place actually deserves a 3.5, but we just couldn't justify giving it a 4. In Lansing, finding authentic ethnic food is challenging, and this place is probably one of the more reasonable Thai options. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a hole-in-the-wall in Bangkok (in the best possible way - cheery blue walls, authentic décor), but the food just didn't quite hit the mark. Food: 3 Food missing some bright sweet and sour notes, but otherwise reasonably enjoyable and fresh. Ordered the Thai steak (#5) and Yum Nua (#15). Both were a little on the small side, but were a good value considering they were mostly beef. The Yum Nua (#15) was better, and tasted like larb with sliced versus ground meat. Ambiance: 3 Atmosphere is very casual but cheery and clean. Think bright blue walls, carved wooden elephants, gold accents, and a picture of the king. Service: 5 Very friendly staff and quick service. They have pictures of all menu items. Value: 3.5 The dishes are pretty no frills, but it's so inexpensive that it's hard to hold this against them. read more

Best Thai food I have ever eaten in my life. Affordable and friendly service that is convenient.

Thailand has been consistently awesome for years now. We almost always get the garlic chicken, although recently I have been hanging with the Thai steak. read more

Huge portions and really good food! Fast takeout & super friendly service. Garlic chicken medium has a good kick to it- tad spicy . Pad Thai and fried rice super good- spring rolls also delish. Hidden gem read more

Stopped in for lunch not too long ago and ordered the Pad Pa lunch. Amazing value and the food was extremely fresh, not overdone or greasy like some thai places can be. The wait was around 30 minutes without anyone ahead of us, so if you're in a hurry it's best to call your order in ahead of time. The space is simplistic and the food comes out in take out boxes (no waiters etc.). You walk in and order right at the window and they only accept cash. I will definitely be back (call ahead) to try something else! read more

I have been going here for quality Thai fare since 2010, and I've always been happy with the food. I love their massaman curry (#22 on their menu). The primary downside to this place is that their hours are somewhat inconvenient (they close at 7pm and aren't open on the weekend). It's also a cash only establishment. Definitely try this place when you're in old town! read more

My husband and I were excited to finally try Thailand after reading reviews. Went to get food at 5:30 pm and they were closed dispite their Facebook page, Yelp, and their sign on the door saying they're open until 7 pm. Very disappointed! read more

Best and most flavorful authentic Thai food in Lansing! Coconut soup, garlic pork and pad Thai come in perfect portions for great prices.

Counter service is very slow, waited almost 20 mins for my order to arrive. Had the pad Thai noodles with pork which was good along with spring rolls that were over cooked read more

Yummy pad thai and 3 egg rolls for 9 dollars! Only 4 stars because I need to try more of the food. I'm impressed. I even prefer their pad thai over my beloved Bangkok down the road. I like how you just order at the counter and then sit and eat without being bothered. Only 4 parties there on a Tuesday around noon. Quiet and comfortable. Nothing fancy. I like it. read more

My favorite Thai food restaurant in the East Lansing area! I think they only take cash so keep that in mind but their drunken noodles are so so so good and the food is very authentic! read more

Awesome food. My friend and I ordered Kai Nawon Hoy and Cashew Chicken. Neat hole in the wall kind of place. Will be back!

The Best Pad Thai, in my opinion. Always fresh ingredients. I usually call ahead. A simple restaurant concept but it works!

Thailand has no frills but the food tastes excellent. Wide menu. Cozy, pleasant dining room. I appreciate that "no frills" makes the prices very reasonable (under $6 for a lunch order that could be two meals). read more

Service is terribly slow. Don't go if you are looking for a quick lunch. But part of why it is slow is because they are a small family making the most authentic Thai food in town from scratch when you order. No sauces getting reheated here. If you love Thai food, this is the place to go! read more
