They made my drinks wrong and when I asked to remake them they said they would have to charge me twice because "it would be a lot of resources" I ordered 2 drinks. I know those drinks don't cost more than $2 for them to make and they're charging me $8 and want me to pay for their mistake. Incredibly pretentious rude and arrogant. The ambiance in that place gave out of touch and inconsiderate And the coffee was absolutely terrible. read more

Big interior, well done, seems like a nice place to do work, read or settle for a few hours. Cappacino was good. The $5 muffin in total, expensive. Nice service. But what threw me off was the "bagel bombs" - WTH is that? Its a homeade bagel biscuit infused with flavors - Strawberry and cream cheese (basically a jelly donut) Jalepeno and bacon (do people want this?) bacon and cheese (dis a potato?) and sausage egg and cheese (this one was good and makes sense). They get microwaved and come pipping hot, not for me. read more

Excellent coffee. I first tried it when the Brew was providing cold brew and hot coffee during the MSU Law exam season, and it carried me through with a pep in my step. After having the coffee every day for nearly two weeks at school, it made me want to check out the Cafe in person. The ambiance is cool, with a ton of local artists and an enthusiastic staff. There is a tattoo parlor upstairs which I inherently thought was badass and it made me feel welcome. If you're hungry, there's always a food truck outside serving something hot. My only points are that the cafe is a bit far away in a relatively remote spot, and that some of the specialty drinks could be a little bit stronger in coffee flavor/caffeine level. My friend had to order a second drink to get her coffee fix. However mostly, I wish it were closer so I could frequent it more. Regardless, I know I'll be coming back. The Brew's coffee was a hit at the law school during exams, and it's still a hit for me now. read more

We have been driving past this for several months, yet never had the time to stop until yesterday. We were quite happy we did as well. The limited selection of drinks is what makes coffee places like this-- limited drinks means more attention (& love!) into every drink. The pour over was slowly and perfectly done as one should be. The nitro was bold and velvety. Though they can construct latte-style drinks, we highly suggest the simple routes of no additives to taste the true coffee flavor. -- We also enjoyed Great Harvest energy bars that were very dense (in a good way) and took us the day to eat. read more

I've had pretty okay coffee here, and the environment is very pretty and inviting for sure. However, outside of the basic latte or coffee, the specialties are lacking. The Red Beard latte (iced) had cinnamon dumped on top of it, and wasn't blended super well. Not only that, but the mask mandate wasn't being enforced at all- numerous people came in and were not wearing masks or at the very least respecting distance- even went up to the register with no masks- and nothing said at all by staff. It's definitely pretty ambiance-wise and outside of the cinnamon bomb, the coffee wasn't bad. But I might come back here after things blow over to try it again. Shame, because Bangos goes over really well with coffee. read more

Stopped into this awesome coffee shop today! Great atmosphere. Loved the gingerbread latte!! I wished we lived closer to try all of the other wonderful flavored lattes they have to offer.
