This place is amazing. The location is cozy and peaceful - just beautiful on a summer's day. The person helping me was so friendly and knowledgeable. And the coffee was incredible. I had an iced vanilla mint latte. I was sure it was going to be good based on reviews, but it was unexpectedly one of the best lattes I've ever had. It was so refreshing, and it put me in a great mood to make a long drive home. Waypoint is a Michigan gem, and I'm looking forward to returning the next time I'm in town. read more

Custom lattes, carefully selected teas, seltzer and kombucha on tap, there's plenty of space to enjoy all of these along with their selection of baked goods. I fell in love with their lattes. Waypoint makes their own syrups. This allows for the sweet spit in latte sweetness - not an over the top sticky sweet flavor. The space here bright and airy. There are several sitting spaces, and the when the weather is right, they use space outside. The business seems community-focused as they have some locally made items for sale for the holidays. My family and I have been visiting Waypoint since the opened in 2020. They have great coffee drinks, an amazing tea selection, including my all time favorite shimmie matcha. The bakery items are always fresh and scratch made. The staff is always super friendly. I love going and spending few hours here hanging out. I hope soon they will be able to extend their hours 3pm. It is hard to get over before 3pm during the week to enjoy a nice cup and treat! read more

This place is absolutely fantastic. A group of us stopped by during their grand opening and there was a line out the door! You are greeted by a simple/modern design and friendly staff. The owners are some of the most knowledgeable coffee lovers I have ever met. Their menu is simple and easy to understand. They offer everything from basic coffee to rare selections from Hawaii, Ethiopia, and more. They also offer interesting things on tap that include Kombucha and Nitro Tea. The pastries all looked great and I loved my cookie with my Maple Syrup Latte. They had quite a few different pastry selections including muffins that my friend enjoyed. Overall, this is a great addition to downtown St Johns that I definitely recommend! read more

Came in with no expectations, but boy OH boy did this place wow me! This place is adorable from the inside out. Great menu with lots of options including coffee, teas, and delicious pastries. The interior is so modern with brick walls, wooden tables, and cute plants. My coffee was AMAZING and i can only describe it as the definition of "warm and cozy." I was happy to see that they are open during these times with a full menu and carry out options. All around great service, great people, great place. I will most definitely be back! read more

Swung through on our drive home from a Michigan honeymoon. Clean, bright coffee in a clean bright space. The barista was super knowledgeable about the flavor profiles and origins. I ordered an Ethiopian pour over, and my husband (on finding they didn't do cold brew), had their iced coffee. Both were excellent! We only regret not getting beans to go.
