Super cute boba store! Was here on business and right after dinner had walked by this and figured why not! The barista is so friendly and is super fast! I got the brown sugar boba tea (less brown sugar is not as sweet), it was perfect! Wasn't a lot of people so I was worried that the boba would be hard but it wasn't! First place I've seen blueberry popping boba and my daughter liked it with her lychee slushy. My other daughter wanted to try milk tea which I didn't think she'd like. Everyone was kind and the store was clean. The tea was just okay. It was warm and hardly had any ice in it. It wasn't very sweet either.

Ordered the roasted oolong milk tea with egg pudding - 30% sugar. The milk tea itself was delicious and creamy with the right amount of sweetness. There is a pleasant tea taste! Although the egg pudding was not my preference texture wise. There was also way too much which made it feel like I was drinking only pudding and I had to chew through my whole drink and I didn't get the opportunity to truly enjoy my tea. I Just had recently gotten a gift card for this place before management change, less than a year old gift card. Just went today and found out they don't take gift cards and woun't even honor the money that was on the gift card. Then when I asked what I am going to do with the money on the card they told me I don't know but we can't take the gift card. So if anyone has an old gift card even if it's not that old they won't take it so hear is a warning that you shouldn't support this business since they don't honor their customers prepaied gift cards from the pervious owners. Sometimes the best people care more about the legitimacy and taste of their products. And so it went. What a shock to find I had wandered into not only the best bubble tea in Lansing/Ann Arbor, the best in Michigan. But the best bubble tea shop in the entire Great Lakes region. Better than any in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, you name it. What makes the products here so great? Taste. Every sip is heaven. They make it right - as in Taiwan, the home of Boba Tea. This is the real thing. What's more, it's a local business. No other Momos. Other than Mo Salah, running down the wing as ever. Avoid Bubble Island, try KFT (international chain) as it rocks, but do not miss the best in town, the locally-owned Momo, with some of the best tasting natural fresh delicious perfectly-crafted bubble teas you will ever have in your life. The original milk tea tastes smooth, creamy, dreamy, andthe tapioca soaked in honey makes for one of the most delicious milk tea drinks you'll have. The fresh fruit teas are made with real fruit and they come out tasting perfect. When you add the tapioca it pumps up the sweetness level to exactly where I want it. I had Lemon - excellent, and Apple - yum. For both I substituted black tea for green tea because it's simply better. Many prefer Green Tea. Have you tried it my way? Even for drinks where there's no black tea option - go off menu like a boss. I'm also very grateful for how wonderful the people are here. The girl really liked me, we talked about everything (literally everything, I learned a lot about Chinese stock market fluctuations, or should I say, fluctu-asians). She complimented my physique, I repeatedly complimented her tea. She had friends over, all playing a Chinese domino game which I'd never seen before. It's complicated. But they were so fast! I was impressed. I wish I knew how to play, but all I know how to do is sing in bathrooms and flex my muscles and dip my high heels in bubble tea because my evil Barbie told me to. Oh and decor. Damn this has everything doesn't it? The lovely big cuddly bear, the really comfortable seats. Feels and smells new, relaxing and perfect. Lighting excellent. I honestly could not like it any more. The only major problem is that it's not busy. It's a crime that anybody would get Boba anywhere else in Lansing. And even though KFT (chain) has great drinks, you should be coming here more often than not. Try it - your taste buds will agree. So this discovery made my Lansing tour 10 times better, and glad I spent a whole day in town, without which I would not have found Momo. Nor one of the best Middle Eastern meals I've had anywhere (Choupli) and a great Brisket Banh Mi (Capital City BBQ). So all in all Lansing was a massive success (like Kalamazoo), and thanks to Momo it will be immortalized in my memory, and hold a very special place in my heart. What a fabulous find! I was going to go to dingtea since we have that over in California but that wasn't open yet so we came here since it is! I got a large rose oolong milk tea with egg pudding and also a small mango slush. The oolong was amazing! You can really taste the tea. The egg pudding was good but harder than I'm use to but it's probably because covid is keeping everyone and all the msu students at home. I ordered 50% sweet and less ice. Even the 2 year old enjoyed my milk tea! He wanted more but can't be feeding caffeine to a kiddo who needs to nap soon! He enjoyed the mango slush just as much! I didn't try it so I can't comment but how can mango slush not be good? They take credit card and there's a huge bear for photo ops as you can see from my photo. Back here after a while. We saw "brown sugar milk tea", i think it is new drink; and it was so yummy. Something you have to try for once, the boba was freshly made, soft and warm which blend with the cold from the tea. It was perfect drink for summer. Whenever I'm at a boba tea shop, I always order a milk tea with bubbles and that's exactly what I ordered at Momo. The taste of the milk tea itself was pretty good but the bubbles wasn't very soft. What's great about Momo is you can adjust the amount of sugar and ice in your drink. They have a wide variety of drinks and the staff are also very friendly. People are cool, can be a bit stand off-ish if you're a non-Asian but it's all good. Got strawberry smoothie and taro smoothie. Both used powder flavorings, which is normal for taro, but I was hoping for fresh strawberries, but they did not have them. Disappointing. Also got a fresh fruit tea, which actually had blueberries and raspberries in it, but it's apparently pre made n they wouldn't let me add boba into it... disappointing again. Came in craving boba and was so excited to try this place but left disappointed. The vibe inside was very cute but the drinks were mediocre. We ordered 3 oolong milk teas but they tasted more like watered down milk. They shake it with ice before pouring so no ice in the cup, which technically gives you more since ice isn't taking up space. But ours came out barely cold so it warmed up quickly. Personally didn't think it was worth drinking more than a quarter of the cup. read more

I tried many things here. They were tasty in general. However, I was disappointed with their tea with milk foam on the top. The foam was very thin and it was a thin layer. Also the owner is not very welcoming. I think it has been a problem since this place started the business. They also have days off very often. It's not the best bubble tea I've had. It's a bit watered down (more milky than tea flavored). They skimp on the toppings even though you're charged an extra 0.50 per topping. I ordered the matcha tea latte and i could barely taste any matcha. The boba was not sweet enough either. This is by far better than Bubble Island, but nowhere close to other better bubble tea places I've tried previously. Got a very bad experience with this place. I ordered a drink before 2 other person. Just 1, while the other have 2 and another one had 5. They came in after but got their drinks first and none of the employee actually cared about my order. Run by Chinese serve for Chinese only. So i guess if you are not chinese, they would serve you last and you will not receive full benefits. This is the 21st Century so please stop carrying out race distinguishing behaviors. THE. BEST. BOBA. PERIOD. Seriously though, I've had boba tea in Chicago, San Francisco, DC, and all around east Lansing and nothing really comes close to the quality of tapioca they make here. The texture is perfectly chewy and the sweetness level is so perfect you really don't need to add that much sugar to a standard milk tea. ( I always do a 50% or 70%). Momo is finally back! Hands down the best tea joint in East Lansing! I live in Toronto where many bubble tea brands have a presence. Momo's quality is second to none of the chained brands in Toronto (eg. Chatime, Royal Tea, Gong Cha, etc). I am surprised to see a local brand can make such authentic bubble teas (sorry bubble island, don't take it personally here :3 ). Momo has expanded their menu at this new location, and now offers some of the most trendy drinks in NYC, Cali, and Toronto, like Berry delicious, fruit tea with real fruits and Oolong series! Did I mention they have Lady M crepe cakes here too? I can't even find those delicious cakes in Toronto ... Momo is my must-go place every time I visit Michigan or enroute to Chicago. read more
