Chocolate Milk Tea and Lychee Slushy
    Jane N.

First place I've seen blueberry popping boba and my daughter liked it with her lychee slushy. My other daughter wanted to try milk tea which I didn't think she'd like. She got the Chocolate Milk Tea with tapioca and loved it! Too sweet for me but the tapioca pearls were perfectly chewy. They have options for less sugar and less ice.

Ordered the roasted oolong milk tea with egg pudding - 30% sugar. The milk tea itself was delicious and creamy with the right amount of sweetness. There is a pleasant tea taste! Although the egg pudding was not my preference texture wise. There was also way too much which made it feel like I was drinking only pudding and I had to chew through my whole drink and I didn't get the opportunity to truly enjoy my tea. Would order here again for the tea but opt out of the pudding!

Delicious honeydew boba - great, natural flavor and the bobas were a perfect texture 8/10 My dad's coffee boba was good, he said but very weak and very sweet 6/10 I love the cups they use but you can reuse them, which is best for the earth. The service guys were very nice and the drinks came out so fast! Good job!

i got the honeydew milk tea with 50% sweet & no ice. it was still pretty sweet but the flavor was amazing. the boba is pretty soft but overall the drink was really good. the store is cute and would be a good place to do homework. very clean inside & the employees are nice.

WHAT! Best Boba in the Great Lakes. One of the best in the USA. I had low expectations because my first 3 Boba stops in Lansing were mediocre or awful, but I felt something different when I walked into Momo (and no, it wasn't just my pee-pee straining to get out of my Levi's). I could tell, these was really good peoples. Genuine, warm, welcoming. Menu seemed authentic. Maybe they actually cared about their bubble tea? Sometimes the best people care more about the legitimacy and taste of their products. And so it went. What a shock to find I had wandered into not only the best bubble tea in Lansing/Ann Arbor, the best in Michigan. But the best bubble tea shop in the entire Great Lakes region. Better than any in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, you name it. What makes the products here so great? Taste. Every sip is heaven. They make it right - as in Taiwan, the home of Boba Tea. This is the real thing. What's more, it's a local business. No other Momos. Other than Mo Salah, running down the wing as ever. Avoid Bubble Island, try KFT (international chain) as it rocks, but do not miss the best in town, the locally-owned Momo, with some of the best tasting natural fresh delicious perfectly-crafted bubble teas you will ever have in your life. The original milk tea tastes smooth, creamy, dreamy, andthe tapioca soaked in honey makes for one of the most delicious milk tea drinks you'll have. The fresh fruit teas are made with real fruit and they come out tasting perfect. When you add the tapioca it pumps up the sweetness level to exactly where I want it. I had Lemon - excellent, and Apple - yum. For both I substituted black tea for green tea because it's simply better. Many prefer Green Tea. Have you tried it my way? Even for drinks where there's no black tea option - go off menu like a boss. I'm also very grateful for how wonderful the people are here. The girl really liked me, we talked about everything (literally everything, I learned a lot about Chinese stock market fluctuations, or should I say, fluctu-asians). She complimented my physique, I repeatedly complimented her tea. She had friends over, all playing a Chinese domino game which I'd never seen before. It's complicated. But they were so fast! I was impressed. I wish I knew how to play, but all I know how to do is sing in bathrooms and flex my muscles and dip my high heels in bubble tea because my evil Barbie told me to. Oh and decor. Damn this has everything doesn't it? The lovely big cuddly bear, the really comfortable seats. Feels and smells new, relaxing and perfect. Lighting excellent. I honestly could not like it any more. The only major problem is that it's not busy. It's a crime that anybody would get Boba anywhere else in Lansing. And even though KFT (chain) has great drinks, you should be coming here more often than not. Try it - your taste buds will agree. So this discovery made my Lansing tour 10 times better, and glad I spent a whole day in town, without which I would not have found Momo. Nor one of the best Middle Eastern meals I've had anywhere (Choupli) and a great Brisket Banh Mi (Capital City BBQ). So all in all Lansing was a massive success (like Kalamazoo), and thanks to Momo it will be immortalized in my memory, and hold a very special place in my heart. So if you come from the POCONOS Or closer to HOME, YO If you work at a SUNOCO Or for the fascist POPO Stay and hear my FLOW FLOW About the drinks at MOMO Bring your sis and BRO BRO And I'll hold the line like TOTO Now I've got to GO GO My backyard needs a MOW MOW Then Barbie wants it SLO SLO Because she's a nymPHO PHO And I'd never say NO NO I go down like a YOYO Because I'm such a HO HO And also because YOLO I'm the K-Ci to her JOJO And she's my favourite PRO PRO But keep this on the LOW LOW Lest the rumours GROW GROW Sad she's not in the PHOTO Not a fake nail, nor TOE TOE But if you go to MOMO Wake me up before you GO-GO WHAT

I've been wanting bubble tea for such a long time, so when I found this spot next to the Pho restaurant I was super excited! This place is so cute and the bubble tea is delicious! There's a big variety to choose from, you won't be disappointed!

What a fabulous find! I was going to go to dingtea since we have that over in California but that wasn't open yet so we came here since it is! I got a large rose oolong milk tea with egg pudding and also a small mango slush. The oolong was amazing! You can really taste the tea. The egg pudding was good but harder than I'm use to but it's probably because covid is keeping everyone and all the msu students at home. I ordered 50% sweet and less ice. Even the 2 year old enjoyed my milk tea! He wanted more but can't be feeding caffeine to a kiddo who needs to nap soon! He enjoyed the mango slush just as much! I didn't try it so I can't comment but how can mango slush not be good? They take credit card and there's a huge bear for photo ops as you can see from my photo. Ask the barista for topping ideas if you don't know! Will return when I visit again!

    Brown sugar milk tea

Back here after a while. We saw "brown sugar milk tea", i think it is new drink; and it was so yummy. Something you have to try for once, the boba was freshly made, soft and warm which blend with the cold from the tea. It was perfect drink for summer. They have small selection for macaroons and cheesecakes but we haven't bought them yet to try. Highly recommend for milk tea lover.

    Black Milk Tea with Bubbles
    Stephanie L.

Whenever I'm at a boba tea shop, I always order a milk tea with bubbles and that's exactly what I ordered at Momo. The taste of the milk tea itself was pretty good but the bubbles wasn't very soft. What's great about Momo is you can adjust the amount of sugar and ice in your drink. They have a wide variety of drinks and the staff are also very friendly. If they made the bubbles softer, I would return often.

I was in the area so I stopped in to MoMo for a passion fruit green tea with brown sugar bubbles. The service was fast, the employee had a mask on, and their point of sale system was safely distanced on a table adjacent to the counter. Reasonably priced as well!

Milk tea It was so yummy and I love the kitty cat on cups.

It was busy when I went showed its a popular place to be. I got a milk tea with bubbles gummies. Yummy Only thing I didn't like was reading the menu the print was really little to read. I would love to come back again.

4.5/5 I will say…read moreeverytime I've stopped by Koi Tea, they've consistently served up the perfect bubble tea drink. I've tried a lot of drinks off their menu, including the one they modified for a seven-year-old who wanted a non-tea, but hot chocolate drink with the tapoica pearls. I'm not sure if it's the workflow of making the bubble tea here that makes it perfect or if it's the individual working the register- somehow it's always worked out. And the ambiance- absolutely relaxing. Nothing beats the YouTube Korean indie and rnb mix playing on TV with the faux vines curving around shelves and the walls, with an open window space concept (tons of light)! Something that I look for with bubble tea places are how consistently their tapoica pearls are cooked through and Koi Tea has been stellar. In previous visits, I've had their viet coffee with pearls, thai tea, and I would likely pick their fruit teas over the milk combos. Sometimes the milk teas end up pretty sweet even when ordered for 50% sweetness.

Koi Tea used to have some of the best boba in Michigan. Unfortunately, things change and the…read morequality here has really declined. We stopped by on our last drive through Lansing and got: Jasmine Milk Tea, 100% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.00) - There was no tea flavor whatsoever in this drink. It tasted pretty much just like sweetened creamer. The boba also did not have a consistent texture. Most of it was way too soft and was basically like overcooked mush. A minority of the boba was only a tad on the soft side and had a good chew, which was reminiscent of the boba here a year or two ago. It feels like Koi Tea mixed two batches of boba together, which is a huge faux pas for any boba establishment. I have no idea what happened to Koi Tea in the last year. Given stiff competition down the road and the quality this time around, I wouldn't go here again.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the delicious fruit teas. The first time I went to the East Lansing location, it really surprised me. The interior was simple yet very elegant. As you could see, it was a pretty photogenic place to take pictures of your drinks. The dining area seemed pretty spacious, they had small tables and also counter seats. I've tried a lot of items on the menu, however my ultimate favorite has to be the Cheese Foam Mango Tea. There was sweetness from the mangoes, cheesy from the cheese foam, and the slight bitterness from the tea. I thought that this was perfectly balanced. The service that I got here everytime has been amazing. By far, I think it is the best customer service I have seen for boba in the East Lansing area. Overall, I'll be coming back here pretty often. I would recommend others to try this place if they haven't!

Uni as in Michigan State Uni, and Cha as in tea. But in case you didn't know Cha was tea, they've put tea in the name too. So it says Tea Tea. Fun times. It's a Unicorn-themed tea place, and that alone deserves a high star rating. If I was rating just based on their drinks then I would have to give three stars despite how wonderful and friendly they are in here. They didn't have any tapioca or any other topping that I wanted. A lot of places - when they run out of tapioca - will still charge the full amount, which Unicha did, and it wasn't cheap. I really think they should give you something or knock off a dollar or something - that would be better customer service. On the other hand these guys were busy making elaborate Thai rolled ice creams for a whole bunch of cute young college girls who disappointed me by not really flirting with me. They did stare at my bunny on my arm a little bit and they did giggle and have wide eyes, but there certainly wasn't the sort of flirting that I hope for when I'm working out the way I do LOL. But that is beside the point. The point was it they had great customer service and that they rustled up my tea between the very long ice cream process for all the girls which meant that I could get out of there in a reasonable time since I wasn't doing the extensive ice cream making ritual that most people come here for. As for said ice cream. Honestly it looks pretty good and more often than not ice cream places doing Thai rolled ice cream do get it right. So I will give them 4 stars based upon the fact that they are more known for the rolled ice cream and it's pretty good. But I'll have to give it another try so that I can determine if I should lower to a 3 match the really really disappointing milk tea that went straight in the trash - or a 5 which is reserved for the very best Thai rolled ice cream places that I've loved the most. Or that I've loved the Moch, if they have Mochi as a topping. I even named my lovely little fierce deadly cat Mochi. What an awesome and cuddly kid he is. And lethal and fearless. Anyway I've already said too Moch, it's time to move on to the next review.

Of course I wanted to like this Bubble Tea Cafe and all of the other reviews suggest that it is awesome and wonderful and the service wasn't too bad but the tea itself was absolutely atrocious. Literally one of the worst bubble teas that I've had in a very long time and for that reason I have to give a low rating. I expect that bubble tea in malls will be bad, but I've been surprised in a positive way many times. This is actually even worse than I expected. Still every Mall should have a bubble tea stand or a bubble tea stall or a bubble tea window and this mall is extremely busy so I fully support the fact that it's in here and the mall is really busy so I think they do pretty well. I just hope the people drinking this bubble tea don't think that this is what bubble tea is. I accidentally wrote another review for the same place: I met a teacher on Tinder. I was like "yo where you Teach At." She thought I was inviting her to Tea Chat, and we ended up here. The rest is history. So I went all the way out to the mall in Okemos, and since Victoria's Secret was closed, this little Boba Shop was the only reason I was there. I mean just look at the other Yelp reviews. I know some of them might be fake but some of them really aren't and people are talking about this is if it's the best bubble tea they've ever had. Including people who've tried bubble tea in cities that actually have a lot of really good bubble tea. So I thought well, at the least it's going to be okay or mediocre. No. The girl was nice enough so I have no complaints about that. But firstly she was all out of Bubbles and said that she sold out. I'm sure she just dumped them out since there was only half an hour left but whatever. This stand is rarely so busy that they'd sell out of anything. That was a bad start, and of course as usual there was no discount given, nothing was really offered, I just paid the full price as if I was getting the bubbles in my drink. Awesome. Then I get my tiny tiny tiny little drink and I take a sip and I'm just like no. No no no. It doesn't taste like black milk tea, it tastes like chemicals, or iffy Jasmine green tea, or both. It just went straight in the trash. A couple of sips and boom... It's in the trash. Not one of my favourites and a total waste of money for me. What a long detour out to the mall just to find out how much I didn't like it.
