Wrong hours
Kayla B.

Ordered food from here last night and it was absolutely disgusting. The rice was burnt and clumping together. I ordered a XL chicken fried rice and I've never had a bad experience here before until last night. On top of that, I was on my way to pick up my order around 9:03pm and they called saying that they are closed and that I need to hurry up. YOUR HOURS ARE 9:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays...fix your hours on the Apple Maps!

My husband tried to pour it back in the container.

Got 6 pot stickers and the tiniest amount of sauce imaginable. Anyone with a brain knows you need sauce for potstickers. This is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention it spilled in the container because it was stuffed in with the potstickers and therefore I can't dip my potsticker into it cuz it's all over the bottom of the container. Shrimp with Lobster sauce was watery as hell. The Crab Rangoon is OK. And we have 3 containers of orange sauce. 3. 2 large 1 medium. NOT happy at all. Finished our dinner and the best food we got were the fortune cookies. Never again. Never.

Good food, quick and consistent. Portions are good size and if you are ordering for dinner plan on having some for breakfast.

The staff was nice but food has gotten worse and worse. This Chinese food is so bland. The quality and taste is gross.

They get four stars for the fried rice, crab Rangoon, potstickers, and egg rolls. Prices are decent too. The orange chicken is not so great.

The egg-drop soup is also on point. We typically go with Mongolian Beef and General Tso Chicken as entrees - be sure add a double order of beef and chicken to each, it's work the price. Shrimp fried rice is another fine option. My only gripe is that - like most Chinese restaurants - they give you 30 packets of sweet-n-sour and just 5 packets each of hot mustard and soy sauce. We don't use sweet-n-sour on our food and always ask then to skip those and instead give us double the normal amount of mustard and soy sauce. Even with the special request, you have to be sure to check the bag again when you pick it up because they always seem to forget. #Best Chinese food in Plainfield.

We ordered the egg foo young, and unfortunately it was extremely bland--it honestly tasted like there was no salt added at all. They also gave us very little brown gravy to go with it, along with a surprisingly small portion of rice. The egg rolls were better than the egg foo young and had a nice homemade taste, but the filling was a little lacking. They also could have benefited from being double-fried because some of the dough on the inside was still slightly raw. Overall, the wait was reasonable and the restaurant appeared clean, but the food could definitely use more seasoning and a little more attention to the portions and preparation.

The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and is quite a nice location for a dinner date or to celebrate a special event. You either order take out or dine in. We ordered take out on this visit; ordering the Chicken Fried Rice, the Fried Chicken Wings, the Pepper Shrimp, the Chicken Corn Soup, and the Hot and Sour Soup. Everything we tried was exceptionally good. My favorite dish being the Chicken Corn soup. Overall, the food is really good and worthwhile checking out of you are in the Chicago area. We were trying to find a place to eat dinner nearby and noticed them which were practically next door. We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and Ribeye Steak with Mushrooms for carry out. The prepared the order quickly and within a few minutes, the order was ready. Upon picking up the order, we noticed how nice the establishment was inside. The Shrimp in the dish was jumbo shrimp which was a nice surprise. Both dishes were only okay due to lack of flavor. They were skimpy in the number of soy and sweet & sour sauce (2 of each). They were nice enough to give us 2 fortune cookies (one cheated me out of a fortune, LOL). NOTE: They have a Chicago location in Chinatown as well.

I also added a small Hot and Sour soup. The food was VERY good. The beef in the Beef and Broccoli was nice and tender, the broccoli not undercooked and not cooked to mush. I loved it. The fried rice was nothing to right home about, but it was good too. The egg roll was fresh and generously filled. I will definitely be back here on my next business trip to the area.
