Came by honeycomb for a post dinner treat after hearing good things about it - it is a cute shop, but my biggest gripe was the no sample policy, while I understand the principle, it does make it hard to commit to a flavor. We ended up getting a guava pastry, flavored ice cream split with jasmine fudge, I enjoyed the flavor of the Jasmine ice cream, but wasn't sure how I felt about it paired with the chocolate and with the guava pastry while I enjoyed the guava flavor, it was a little jarring to have waxy tasting pieces of the pastry mixed in with the ice cream. It was a great idea, but textually, maybe did not make the most sense. Would definitely be open to coming back and trying more flavors! Food: 3.5/5 Price: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 Service: 5/5

As a place that is very hyped up, I was excited to try this. They have such interesting and unique flavors, but don't let you sample them to know what you want. I did love that it is locally sourced ingredients and homemade. Their prices are expensive and they do not even come close to filling the cup. Paying $6.45 for a small for a half full cup was disappointing. My husband also is pretty sure he was given the wrong flavor, or the flavor had no honeycomb in it like it was supposed to, luckily he has no allergies but was a bummer. I used to work at an ice cream place, and I know it's expensive to make but the least you can do is get the customer's money worth!

Unfortunately this one was a miss :/. We felt like this place was overhyped; the scoop of the ice cream was off (iykyk). The flavors were okay, but the ice cream was a little too soft for my taste. I also took lactaid (again iykyk) but still had a very bad stomachache after eating this :(((

Such a sweet and charming little Ice-cream Shop! Honeycomb Creamery serves up lovely small batch icecream flavors that are hard to find anywhere else. I tried their classic Honey Lavender & seasonal Mango Sticky Rice that were both insanely delicious. So creamy & dreamy. The honeycomb candy is also a fun unique topping! It kind of tastes like Dalgona with its sweetness & crispiness. Their rotating monthly specials are a brilliant way to keep customers on their toes. Can't wait to come back for more as the weather gets warmer.

I was staying at a nearby hotel one Saturday night and decided to go exploring, which is when I happened upon a long line leading to this ice cream shop. Really glad I decided to stop! This is one of those small batch shops with interesting flavors, so of course the quality is excellent. I had their milk chocolate stracciatella and the apple cider donut flavor, and it was a flavor combo I didn't realize I needed. Totally worth waiting in line for.

The lavender honey was probably the best ice cream flavor I've ever had. I don't really know how to describe it, but the honey and lavender were both super apparent and complemented each other really well. The other flavors I tried were good too, but pretty generic. One small critique is that the ice cream was a bit icy instead of creamy, but I guess that's how you know it's homemade.

Quint ice cream shop between Porter Square and Harvard. Always a line but most fast because they 3 scoopers. The ice cream is homemade so the flavor selection isn't wide but is unique. If you're looking for plain vanilla, strawberry or chocolate this isn't the place for you. But it does give you a great reason to try something new. We tried the Honey Lavender and Strawberry Lemonade and loved both. There isn't a lot of seating so we had to wait for one of the tables up front for a party of 3. Servers were real nice. Would definitely come back.

I am just absolutely obsessed with honeycomb and love how perfectly local they are. All of their flavors are AMAZING. The line is worth the wait but don't worry it moves pretty fast!!! It's super cute inside and there is even a line on a cold October day.

No wrong answers, no wrong flavors. Dropped by impromptu after a recommendation Friday night ~8pm. Line barely reached the front door, but it moves fast. The artsy aesthetic provides many things to look at, ranging from portraits to plants. Along with the large list of different flavors and options offered on the menu to read through, everything makes the wait go fast. What we got: - matcha lemon (seasonal flavor) ~ a matcha latte with a slight lemon custard aftertaste. Specks of zest included! - cold brew coffee chip ~ hits like a latte. Not too overpowering in coffee. Chocolate chip shavings add a great texture. - banana rum caramel (seasonal) ~ banana-y, not too overpoweringly sweet from the caramel, with a hint of rum. Well balanced. - honey lavender ~ refreshing! Lavender flavor packed a punch with a sweet honey finish - orange olive oil brownie (seasonal) ~ chunks of brownie carries the chocolate flavor well into subtle orange. Olive oil adds a smoothness to the ice cream. All in all, best experience and rivals my favorite ice cream shop. There's a no sampling policy, but there are no bad flavors here. All flavors chosen above slapped in their own way.

We shared a 4 flavors flight of Salted Caramel Crackle, Bay Leaf & Lemon Curd, Jasmine Sea Salt Ganache, Matcha Oat Latte. Unique flavors and creaminess are top notch here. You can distinctly taste each flavor as titled, quality is undeniable imo, and after that, it comes down to personal preference. Even Jasmine Sea Salt and matcha oat were better than the boba tea shops we visited on our trip. No issues with service. Decent amount of space to stand/sit and eat inside.

Very unique flavours. The corn scoop and soft serve really are that good. The smore's let me down a bit- really enjoyed this place and service was nice

Definitely a unique ice cream parlor. They offer original flavors in which they seem to take their own spin on classics. My boyfriend and I found this place after having dinner nearby. Took me a minute to find my footing with the flavors. Once I asked some questions, I chose the ruby rocky road and the Alfajores. Both were decent but didn't blow me away. While I appreciate originality, sometimes I like the classics too. I wish this place had both. They seem to have different flavors so maybe they do rotate them in and I just missed it. The interior is very cute inside, unfortunately it was packed so there were no open seats. We did have to bring the ice cream to our car. Overall solid ice cream spot if you're looking to experiment with some flavors!

We went to Honeycomb Creamery on a rainy July day which was great because it was empty, seems like based on their signs they get pretty busy in the summer! The flavors are all so interesting and it's nice knowing everything in made in house. I ordered a kiddie size Black Sesame and Raspberry topped with Cookie Dough which was the perfect size because of how rich the flavor was! We also ordered a classic flavor Brown Sugar Vanilla which was a great sweet and creamy vanilla with notes of brown sugar. The homemade rainbow sprinkles were so crunchy and delicious! The store was so cutely decorated! Can't wait to come back and try more flavors!

Located on Dunster Street, the shop is designed for efficiency, with a straightforward layout that keeps the line moving even during busy hours. There are a few counter seats inside, but it's primarily a grab-and-go destination where most people leave carrying one of the bakery's signature string-tied pastry boxes. The cannolis are the main reason to visit, and they certainly live up to their reputation in terms of size. The classic chocolate chip cannoli is generously filled from end to end with a rich, sweet ricotta cream, while the crisp shell provides just the right amount of crunch. If you're looking for something a little different, the Florentine cannoli is an excellent choice. Its honey-nut shell adds an extra layer of texture and a subtle caramelized flavor that pairs beautifully with the creamy filling. Beyond the cannolis, the bakery offers an impressive selection of Italian pastries, cookies, cakes, and other desserts. The lobster tails are another popular option, with flaky layers surrounding a rich cream filling, and the display cases are filled with enough variety to make it difficult to choose just one item. Prices are a bit higher than your average neighborhood bakery, but the portions are generous enough that many pastries can easily be shared. Service is quick and efficient, with staff focused on keeping the line moving throughout the day. Since seating is limited, it's worth taking your pastries to nearby Harvard Yard or the Charles River, where you can enjoy them at a more relaxed pace. Mike's Pastry may be best known for its North End flagship, but the Cambridge location delivers the same oversized cannolis and classic Italian desserts in a much more convenient setting. Whether you're craving the original chocolate chip cannoli or one of their many other pastries, it's an easy stop whenever you're spending time around Harvard Square.
