My nails were already damaged from acrylics, so for my senior photos I decided to get gel polish, hoping they'd be gentle--especially since I have a habit of biting my nails. Instead, I left with one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. The first time, they slapped on sloppy, uneven polish with streaks, bare spots, and paint all over my skin. When I pointed it out, they "redid" them but refused to let me pick the color I actually wanted. They were rough the entire time, nicked my skin, and made me bleed--without even an apology. I came in hoping for a little care and attention, and instead I got rushed, careless work from people who clearly don't care about their customers. My nails still look awful, my skin is sore, and now I have to get them fixed somewhere else before my senior pictures. Save yourself the frustration and go literally ANYWHERE else. read more

I've never had a bad experience prior to today. I was born with a defect in my feet so my toes are shaped a little differently- no big deal. The woman doing my pedicure asked me if I was eating too much candy. I didn't quite understand so I asked her what she meant and she told me I need to eat healthier and that I'm eating too much candy and that's why my toes are misshapen. Not quite sure how to respond I stayed silent, and for the next 15 minutes and kept mentioning how I am unhealthy and eating too much candy. Not sure how that correlates to my toes but made for a poor experience. read more

They were nice but I haven't had a professional pedi in a few months so my heels had a lot of dead dry skin peeling which is why I went I usually use a foot scrub at home but it doesn't get all the dry peeling skin. I've never left with a pedicure from any salon like this. I didn't tip and I'll never visit again. I'm usually a great tipper. paid for the Deluxe!! read more

I highly recommend! I've gone here intermittently over the years (only because I have a friend who I usually go to) and they have won me over as my back-up spa! Just before I went here last month, I had called and then stopped at, ANOTHER local spa for a pedicure. (My friend was not in town) I stopped at the OTHER place at the time they told me to come in (1.5 hours after I had phoned) and then I still proceeded to wait yet another 45 minutes in the spa chair with my feet soaking. I ended up drying off me feet and leaving the first place. I then went to Honey, and although there were other customers, I was able to be accommodated right away! It was fantastic!!! It was very relaxing! The whole experience was great! I am about to go there again today, for my birthday. They even send you a discount coupon via email to help celebrate! I recently started going to this salon after a friend had recommended it due to their pedicures. I tried it out and was not disappointed. It's a pretty big salon offering a variety of services. Call ahead time make a reservation. In terms of COVID-19 protocols, you are required to wash your hands upon entering. The pedicure stations are separated so you're not on top of everyone. They have plexiglass separating you from the nail technician. Everyone is required to wear a mask throughout their stay. I appreciated the strict adherence to these rules to feel comfortable throughout my visit. For pedicures, they offer four different kinds and you chose which one you want. A regular pedicure is $28 and if you use cash you get a coupon ranging from $2-$5 to use on your next visit. My favorite part of this salon was that you receive a massage at the completion of each service. Overall, I would recommend this place to others. Update: Not sure if it's due to Covid or not, but the service has not been the same. The last 2 times I sat and waited for 40+ minutes. People came in 10-20 minutes after me and were serviced before me. All of these people were walk-ins like me. Not sure if it's a race thing or not, but the white people were ALWAYS serviced before me. Last time, I left the place and I won't ever return. In the area for a wedding and needed, desperately, a last minute pedicure. From calling for an appt with little notice, to the neck/back massage while my toes were drying, to helping me with my coat when I was leaving, every staff member were professional, polite and courteous. Love it here! Very clean place to get a manicure and pedicure with a decent amount of color choices. I prefer to go to Andy or Mandy, they are efficient and personable. We were greeted, picked our colors and walked right to the massage chairs even without an appointment. The staff is polite and courteous. The decor is very cute. Everything looked very clean. The pedicure itself was relaxing and exactly as I'd expected. I opted for the cheapest one ($25) and still felt very pampered. Even though it was close to their closing time I didn't feel rushed and after I smudged my polish (eek!) another staff member immediately fixed it for me. I asked the lady for acrylics and she told me yes then after sitting down she decided to start putting gel on my nails without asking. Then I told her it was unacceptable. She charged me $50 for nails that look horrible. She didn't even put the gel down to my cuticles. The nails look they've been grown out for 2 weeks already. I was encouraged to go here based on a review of how great their specials were. They unfortunately didn't have any specials when I went. A regular pedi is $30, gel polish was an extra $20 (which seems quite excessive to me, as gel polish doesn't cost nearly that much more than regular polish) =$58 gel pedi. Gel mani was only $20 which I think is more than fair. Downside their gel color collection was quite limited in range, and they only offer OPI. Probably wouldn't have picked this place if other studios had been open. read more

Today I got a pedicure. Not one of my favorites, considering it was $30. I made 2 reservations for 2 people. We waited 30 minutes for our pedicures, and then only 1 technician was able to help us. So I had to wait 45 minutes while the other half of my party was being serviced. When it was my turn, the technician just threw the tools back in the bin, no sanitation. The foot file was just dipped in the used foot bath. Gross. Then, when she was changing her gloves, she put the used ones in her pocket, and then reached into the other one to get "new ones". The only thing is, I don't think they were new. She had to flip them right side out and then pull all the fingers out. Pretty sure they reuse gloves. All, in all, for $30, I would have rather just painted my own toes without the added foot fungus. read more

Let me start this off by saying my toes are not bad at all and my feet are smooth! It was the comments of the women doing them that made me not want to come back. I hadn't gotten my feet done in a while so they were very dry and I admit I had a lot of dry skin, but while giving me the callus treatment the women doing it said I "really needed it", laughed, and then pointed it out to the women doing my partners feet right next to me. I knew they were bad but I don't think it needed to be pointed out to other employees or announced out loud towards me while others are listening and watching. It was very Embarrassing and quite uncomfortable. Fast forward i go to pay and the women at the desk asked if I was paying for my boyfriend and when I said yes she giggled! Not that it matters, I was paying but it was his card. Then I go to tip the 2 women that helped us and the women who did my pedicure put her hand out as she was walking past and Didn't even acknowledge the fact I was handing it to her. Overall I felt extremely uncomfortable in this place and won't be back or recommending them. read more

I have been going there since they opened and always get a pedicure and gel manicure. Pedicure was again great. Gel manicure peeled the day after I had it done. Went back 4 days later (I work) and the owner told me they could "fix" the nails or it would cost me $30 to have them redone. Besides peeling, the polish wasn't taken to the end of my nail beds. Since gel polish was created this has never happened to me. In addition I purchased $100 worth of gift certificates (Christmas time) the week before. Needless to say on the be-back I had the nails stripped and re-done. Paid the money and will NEVER go back. I have literally spent thousands at the salon and am not a person to ever rip ANYONE off. I only expected the superior customer service I have been given since going there. In fact, I always leave very generous (30%+) tips. I'm sorry for the people who work there who will not be receiving my tips but I can't support a business who treats their customers so horribly! Honey Nails will never see me again! There is too much competition to put up with that nonsense! Oh - as an addendum.....I was going to use the gift certificates for myself but gave them away to others since I'll never step foot in there again! read more

This place is a joke. $25 for a pedicure BUT if you want calluses removed that's $40 and I opted to get my calluses worked on. The entire time I was there the dude talked in his native tongue along with the folks that worked there. He would stop working on me and look at the person he was talking to continuously. When I go for a pedicure I like to relax a little bit but it was impossible with this amateur! It was less than 30 minutes and when I gave him the tip not so much as a thank you. These people are very rude and they do not have a pleasant attitude. Me and my partner went there and best believe we did not spend ten minutes to get our feet done. They rushed their services. On the other hand I realized the following day that the gel polished came off or wasn't done so I called to tell them that my toes wasn't finished in a respectful manner one of the guys there told me to come down to have them look at it. The person who did my feet was being extremely rude her body language and the way how they were interacting with me I could tell they were upset I came back to get my polish complete. They gave me dirty looks and the guy told me it was my fault. I did not say anything I just let them complete the job and walked out. But I will never set foot in there again. I was disappointed with their work because my feet need more work done and my boyfriend still tipped them. They need to spend more time on people's feet and be more cautious of stuff they say because it might be funny to them but it's not funny to me but that's for another day.
