I adore this place. Her pedicures are fabulous, and the manicures are excellent too. I see she does teeth whitening too, but I haven't tried it yet. Melissa is very kind and gentle but also highly professional. I get a monthly pedicure because I have unruly toenails and she cares for them as if they were her own. Her shop also features handmade bath scrubs, essential oils, artisan jewelry and more. Such a lovely shop. read more

This is a one woman show ran by Melissa. You sit in a room that's cutely decorated and feels personable. Melissa's Alexa will play whatever music you want! If you want gel, Melissa will hand you the samples of what she has. SO many colors. And she has a few cat eye ones that I've never seen available before. I'm wearing a pink cat eye one in my pic. I have natural nails, but 2 of them had tears. Melissa suggested polygel on those nails so that they dont get worse, but I also wouldn't have to cut them short. Polygel is apparently healthier for your nails than acrylic, so it was cool that that was an option. Overall, super happy with my manicure. Melissa did whatever I asked and she did so with enthusiasm. She was very meticulous and took her time. Too many salons I've been to felt rushed. This was the opposite! $35 all together for the manicure, which is a great price considering how much work she put into the different nails. And I like that I can book online! read more

I am so glad I found this place! I was looking for a nail salon for mani/pedis somewhere near home, and I found the perfect spot! It's located in an amazing looking brick house on Titus Ave. at the corner of Curtice Rd. that I have admired for some time. I was excited to finally see the inside of this place once I realized where it was, and it did not disappoint! First of all, it's in a private, warm and cozy room that accommodates only one customer at a time, which to me is very cool. I feel so relaxed and comfortable being there and being able to talk about anything without someone sitting right next to me hearing our conversation. You also get total one:one time with Melissa, which I find to be invaluable! My first visit I learned all about gel polish, which I was hesitant to try previously because I didn't know much about it. Melissa took the time and had the patience to explain everything and answered all of my questions. She takes her time with just about every aspect of the process to make sure everything turns out perfect. She will NOT let you walk out of there with sub-par nails! My cuticles never looked so good and my feet felt like a baby's after her services. She used a paraffin wax treatment on them that is the total bomb! It is definitely a must try! She explains everything she is doing, and the reason why, every step of the way. I really learned a lot! Needless to say, Melissa is the absolute BEST! I truly feel that I have made a new friend. She is so sincere and warm, and a true dedicated professional at the same time. Not only do I look forward to getting my nails done, but I also look forward to catching up with her with every appointment, that will definitely be regularly scheduled! Scheduling appts is also a plus, because you can do it online, which is so convenient, and her pricing is beyond fair for the meticulous service she provides.
