Twelve Corners always needed a nail salon. Why? I don't really know. But I'm very happy that Beyond Nails is not only here, but does a really nice mani-pedi for a good price. My frugality gets in the way of salon treatments, ask anyone. The first thing to know about Beyond Nails is that if you pay cash, you get coupons to put towards your next visit. And for a $30 pedicure, it's worth it to use the cash. On my last visit, I had a $5 off coupon from a previous visit available to me, resulting in a $25 regular pedicure. Can you beat that on most occasions? I usually can't. It's not just the convenience, the cash, and the sanitary procedures that would keep me coming back, it's that you get an amazing deal and a pleasant experience. I got my nails done here before my wedding and I absolutely loved the experience. I chose a regular pedicure, which always lasts forever, and gel manicure, knowing my tendencies to flake. During the pedicure, my legs were pampered with hot stones, completely included. Normally that's an add on, and here it's part of the regular pedicure. My gels lasted a few months too. This was one of the only times I didn't chip off my nail polish and my wedding nails lasted for a few months ultimately, with natural nail growth being the reason the polish eventually retreated. I made appointments on my recent visits, but things were spaced out enough that you could probably walk in without much incident. When choosing your polish, take note that some of the regular polishes do cost a little extra. Otherwise, the nail salon experience is one that you'd expect from a nail salon, as opposed to a place where things just seem hectic. Beyond Nails is a great choice for a spa-like day, and Twelve Corners is lucky to have them. Remember to bring cash! read more

very pushy for tips! after service they asked "how much are you going to pay for a cash tip." then i tried to tap and pay and they pressed the pin pad for me to add a tip first. I said no tip and they printed out the receipt and handed me a pen and said "here for you to add a cash tip" when i never insinuated I was going to give one in the first place. the service was okay but deff an uncomfortable experience so I will not be returning. read more

The mani/pedi itself was adequate. They were not particularly friendly. The technician literally jerked my hands and feet around - presumably (and ironically) to get me to relax them. I will definitely not be back. Not worth it when there's many other nail salons around. read more

go here if you want a staph infection. My finger was sore after going here for a manicure. Over the next few days it got worse sollen red pus and infected to the point where I needed antibiotics. My doctor said it was from getting the manicure never had this happen to me in my life and I've gotten plenty of manicures. Paid 80$ for an infection and they refused to give me a refund. read more

Do not buy gift cards from this nail salon. I received a $100 gift card and used $80 for a full set of acrylic nails. Instead of leaving the remaining $20 on the gift card, they gave me two in store coupons. When I went back for a $20 nail removal, I was told I could only use one coupon, which meant I still had to pay an extra $10 out of pocket. The whole situation felt really misleading and unfair. It honestly seemed set up so you're forced to spend more money just to use what should already be yours. I ended up losing money even though I had a gift card, and it was just a frustrating experience overall. I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

I went today (1/21/26) for a gel manicure. I had an ok experience, however, Aidan checked my nails on the way out and fixed the issues! I will definitely be back & give them A+ for fantastic customer service. read more

First time trying this spa as my friend recommended it. Very clean and lots of chairs for nails and pedicures. Prices are reasonable and my nail tech did a great job as I got the dipped nails. read more

After paying and declining additional services, I was stopped while leaving and repeatedly asked for a tip by the manager. This is harassment. Tips are voluntary. And for the sheep that believe in subsidizing employers that do not pay their workers sufficiently and think tipping is standard, when the tech was pulling my arm, rushed through the job and did not include a hand massage, what am I tipping for? You want a tip: pay your workers a living wage. I will be following up with the attorney generals office because you got the right one. read more

First time at this location cause I wanted powder dip nails. The place is nice and big with many seats and workers available. They are Very attentive, of course I went in middle of the week middle of the day so not sure how they are on the weekend. They immediately asked what I wanted, to pick a color and got started right away. I had Robin who was very nice and directional. The pedicure was perfect, the chairs were comfortable and I like how Robin asked if the water temp was ok. On to the powder dip nails which was my first time and took longer than I expected, but it came out very pretty. It's been two weeks so far and they are still looking perfect. They also offer a massage while you finish up. Highly recommend read more

Fastest pedicure I've ever had-- and that's NOT a good thing. I have come here multiple times and the quality of the experience has varied, but this was by far the worst experience. I should have known better, the male techs generally don't do a very good job. The young man who cut my toenails must have been new because they were cut/painted so unevenly that I want to cry. The edges look broken and the polish was all over my toes. I didn't realize how bad it was until I was waiting for them to dry. I should have stayed and made them fix it but we had already paid and I just wanted to get out of there. Buyer beware! read more

I'm new to the area and just googled nail salons near me. Beyond Nails & Spa seemed like a good choice despite the mixed reviews. I made an appointment over the phone. They didn't ask for my info, which I found odd. I showed up at 6:30pm(they close at 7:30)for my appointment. I went in to have my dip removed and redone. My nail tech was Hillary. She was kind but quiet. Her attention to detail was great. I showed her a picture of the ghost design I wanted for fall and she did great. I felt bad because i didn't get out until after 8pm, but they were really nice about it and didn't rush me out. They were upfront and fair with prices. I didn't wait at all to be seated. It didn't seem busy around the time I went. The salon looked newly renovated and clean. I'm looking forward to going back and getting a pedi! read more

This place isn't cheap BUT if you need somewhere that you can walk into and find a solid nail tech 4 out of 5 times, look no further. I've gone to at least 3 other places within a few blocks and they all require appointments and one place even completely stood me up where I was standing at their locked door. I was sad. Lol. So this is my go to place when I'm in a crunch and need someone asap OR if I need some amazing French tips I make an appointment with Cindy. read more

Such a nice place! They got me right in for an appointment. Lena did an amazing job with my dip extensions manicure, my pedicure and eyebrow wax. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommend!! read more

This was my third to fourth time coming and every time that I have come except once has been the most unprofessional. Absolutely rudest out of control customer service I've ever dealt with in my life. Today I was there with my boyfriend and mother for my birthday. Was there last year for my birthday? Had to leave as I was just getting ready to get a manicure. I already had gotten my pedicure so and my boyfriend and my mother my boyfriend was sitting getting his toes dried. They kept harassing my mom and I asking who was paying for my boyfriend like he was going to just disappear or something like that. Mind you we've been coming here for years. This place is absolutely terrible. They did nothing to say they were sorry or to benefit the situation. Nothing. I'll say it now. Like I've said it before. This literally is the worst f****** place hands down. Stay away everybody. There are so many better places to go to the worst f****** facility ever and I hate to swear like this but it's the truth. The they are unprofessional. I could hear them through Google translate because I knew they were talking smack. But that's okay because I won't be spending my money there ever again read more

Tina always does a fabulous job with my pedicures. She is very professional. I would highly recommend this nail salon

Best pedicure I've ever had. They're service is unmatched, it's my second time here and I will keep coming back!

Unfortunately, this is the third time I've gotten a gel manicure here and each time my nails have been uneven, rough, and had ridges. I called to have them fixed (within a 12 hr time frame) this last time and they were going to charge me for another service. read more

This was my first time ever getting my nails done and I had an amazing experience! I got the gel nails and showed Aiden a reference picture and he created an even better look and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure I liked the shape, color, etc. It was a very relaxing experience and you get cuticle oil, a scrub, moisturizer, and a hand massage at the end! They also are very covid conscious by having everyone apply hand sanitizer when they first walk in and requiring masks! I will definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to everyone! read more

Stopped coming here a few years ago due to rude service and mediocre manicures/ pedicures. Had a $10 coupon so decided to give them another try today and I remember why I stopped coming here..... just don't go! So many other choices of places- pick anywhere else! read more

This place is clean and good but the price is ridiculous high for gel manicure and pedicure and also literally asked me to leave the person a tip which is not professional to do that , price need to drop I paid 78 dollars for gel manicure and pedicure reasonable would have been 45 to 55 dollars maybe but not 78 dollars for basic stuff read more

Fit my friend and I in for gel manicures as walk-ins on a Sunday afternoon. Did a great job with my cuticles and shaping and I was very happy with my paint and top coat job! Very mediocre customer service! The nail artist had me pay before they finished the nail service which I thought was very weird. I don't know whether it was a bad day or they have had bad instances with people of color but I def felt uneasy and awkward! read more

I am not one of those needy folks. Change this or change that or do that over-That is not me. I go here for my feet. I chose this place over the one on park because they are less expensive and better service. I paid $100 for 2 wack feet jobs for me and my husband on Park but at this place, (next to starbucks) I only paid $60 and tipped them of course. My review is only on the foot job and it was a good experience I will be back soon. I was suppose to go this week. read more

I had a horrible experience as they allow a inexperience nail technician that probably did not have his license to work on my feet. I barely have toe nails to paint on which I should be suing because god only knows what kind of damage he had left me with. I was too angry to think straight and on top of that they still charge me for a terrible job I do not recommend this place to not even my dog. read more

I'm so impressed with Beyond Nails! I recently had a poor experience at another nail salon that I had been a loyal client at, so I tried Beyond Nails because my best friend recommended them. Kevin was my technician and he paid such attention to detail and I appreciated that. I got a powder dip manicure and there were lots of color options to choose from. It cost $38 and I was in and out in 1 hour. They take walk-ins and scheduled appointments. I called for an appointment and they had availability that day! read more

I have gone to this place regularly since it opened and the quality has gone down over time. The men that work there are WAY too aggressive and often make me bleed when I get a pedicure there. I used to have no problem with this if it's an accident because it does happen sometimes and I get that, but lately it seems like it's every time I go there. Today I tried a different nail salon because of this issue and they couldn't take me so I went back to this place. I'm not a confrontational customer so I was appalled when I saw the man using a tool meant for nail use to unclog the drain in the pedicure basin. WHILE MY FEET WERE IN IT. sanitizer or not...what the heck? When I paid I didn't leave a tip. (Which by the way, is a choice, not mandatory?!) and the man who worked there called out loudly in front of everyone shaming me for not leaving a tip. Are you kidding me?! At the risk of sounding like a boomer what is customer service coming to if a tip isn't a choice and I'm FORCED INTO IT regardless of how I feel about the service? Isn't that my feedback? Again, I'm not good with confrontation but I was speechless and mortified when 25 people were staring at me because the worker felt the need to publicly shame me. Not a great business practice, dude. Needless to say, sounding like the most Karen moment of my life, I will not be going back here again. Felt the need to write this here in the hopes that someone who saw me humiliated in front of the whole salon will understand what the hell just happened in front of their eyes. read more

This place is sadly not what it used to be... I have been going to this nail salon for years and never had a problem till recently. The first time I chalked it up to bad luck- They did an awful job painting my toes and I went home and had to redo them. The second time I came in after that they were hurting me while servicing my nails. I asked them nicely to stop because it hurt and was too rough. She ignored me and kept going and said I needed it. Then half way through my appointment she switches with another tech who says he was going to finish them. He then proceeds to put the wrong color on my nails. When confronted about it he lied to me and said that was the correct color and the sample color must have faded. He refused to change the color & said it was too late. Needless to say I will not be coming back. read more

I got a dip powder manicure here on Saturday, and the man who did my nails topped it off with gel. Within 2 days my nails started peeling. On Tuesday I went back to get them fixed. After they drilled my nails once and put the correct top coat on, the nails looked awful. They drilled them again, and again put the gel top coat on. When I took them out of the lamp they looked disgusting as if they had dust in them, I brought it to Melinda's attention and she told me to come back tomorrow and get them taken off if I wanted. Come back a third time? Never coming here again. read more

Place seemed clean and decent atmosphere. However, the employee giving my pedicure and the employee doing my friends pedicure got into a fist fight in the middle of the salon. The one employee doing my pedicure was taken outside and another tech came over after 5 mins to finish my pedicure. There was no apology or compensation for what happened. It was like they all acted as if nothing happened. My original tech came back in and started doing pedicures at a chair on the opposite end. The pedicure itself was pretty sloppy with much of the gel around my actual nail. Definitely will not be returning read more

As with anything, you need to find a "fit," and that holds true for your nail tech as well! I had a poor first experience but after that, things have been top notch. I prefer Hannah, Melinda, or Ivy for nails. I love the parafin wax and shoulder massage that comes with it. The pedicure is lovely as well, and I appreciate the timed massage with stones. I come every two weeks like clockwork, and it's now my go-to salon. read more

I've been going here for years and I swear each time the experience gets worse. They upcharge on everythinggg and I swear they just make up a new price every time I'm in. Was told today it would be $20 just to get the old nails off (that I had done at their salon). Never going here again. read more

This is the cleanest nail salon I've been to, not to mention the quality of my fill and pedicure, the man who did my fill was meticulous. Many colors to choose from, there is a vacuum in the middle of the desk that sucks up all the dust and the LED lamps are built into the desks. After the mani they had me dip my hands into wax and gave me a back massage, I thought I was going to fall asleep, very relaxing! They don't accept tips on a card BUT their ATM is free. Highly recommend Beyond Nails and Spa, you won't regret it read more

Coming from LA, I'm always shocked at prices for mani/pedi in smaller cities. I really liked my nails, but I chose a polish that wasn't on a shelf that had a note regarding an up charge, so I was surprised to find out all polishes I chose actually did cost extra. Make sure to check on this before they start painting. Otherwise, parking and location are convenient! They got my mom and I in right away. read more

Whenever I come visit Rochester, I come here and this place never disappoints me! Everyone is super friendly and kind, and their service is 10/10. I always get gel manicure, and as you can see in the picture the work is very clean and nice. Most of the nail salon that I've been to does a poor job of painting the sides of nails, but they perfectly fill the whole nails. I definitely recommend here! You might have to make an appointment because it gets super busy during the weekends. But that shows how great this place is :) read more

I wish I would have read more reviews on this place because I would have know that the customer service was horrible. My fiancé wanted to get a paraffin wax treatment so I searched for a few places and this came up. Per google the rating weren't too low, so I made an appointment. I specifically asked the person I made the appointment with ( Adrian) if they offered paraffin wax. He said yes only for us to get to the appointment and then not to have what I specifically requested asked for. After getting over that ( which was the main reason we went) my fiancé's chair kept breaking down during the pedicure. He then got a manicure and asked for his nails to be buffed only to get a tech who didn't even know how to do what he requested. To cap off the whole terrible experience I was asked after my service was completely paid for by my fiancé to provide a tip. Like where in the handbook of professional business etiquette is this acceptable???Not only did Hannah ask me for the tip, she asked me loudly in front of a whole room full of people. I was the only black customer in the whole establishment and this was truly offensive and in my opinion racist. I will never spend my hard earned dollars at this establishment ever again. I recommend you not to patronize them either. read more

Everyone is a critique...I read about some bad experiences people had here, however I thought they were a clean and efficient establishment. I was greeted upon entering, got a chair right away, had a friendly staff member, and received quality service. Their prices are comparable to other nail salons that I have been to as well. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this establishment to others if you are looking for a nail salon. read more

Beyond Nails opened recently and is starting out strong for me. I've been twice, the spa pedicure which of course is an upgrade in price is amazing I loved it and my feet were so smooth after. I also had powder done on my finger nails, they have a limited color selection for powder but they do a great job at it and I totally recommend. If you pay in cash they give you a $5 off coupon for next time you come in but here's the best part if you forgot to stop at the bank ATM on the way there they have an ATM in house with NO FEES!!! One of my biggest nail salon complaints is the whole we want cash only, this makes a little easier on the costumer. read more

I was excited to try this place after reading the first review on nail buffing. I stopped in today (it's rather close) and had the special- pedicure and manicure for $40. Of course, after sitting in the pedi chair, I was handed a menu with the upcharges. If you want anything more than the basis(which included a massage and hot stones) it charges $$. Place is new, clean and very welcoming. Tech was quiet but efficient. Good job on the pedi except for a weirdly sloped big toe filing- only on one foot. Now on to the 2 stars. In the middle of the mani, the same tech informed me it was $10 extra for the buffing. What???? You read the review and decided just now to tell me??? Not happy. Had to go home and do it - not paying for a service that should be in place of polish. Oh- must pay tip in cash. I'm also upset that ppl are given different prices for identical services. read more
