I get endless compliments on my lashes, they look natural. Everyone thinks I am lucky enough to…read morehave naturally perfect lashes. Occasionally I will be asked if I have them professionally done. Hell ya, I can't do them myself and I have tried. You can't quite tell because they are not gaudy, but correct for my eye shape and my lifestyle. I have huge confidence leaving the salon. It makes me happy and it shows. The best part is how quickly I can get my makeup routine done in morning. I don't dread it. No more endless mascara application, nor black smudges by end of day. No more trying out new expensive mascara that is never any different than the usual. So thankful for Kelly, Jessica and Dan. I loooove all the services the salon provides. But CAN'T live without my lashes. I have used other salons for lashes. I highly recommend Kalypso's. Hands down. ON TO WAXING. I have used the top and best salons in Rochester for bikini waxing. I have extremely sensitive skin. Extremely. But Jessica and Kelly's results are the by far best. I do not have any bruising, any skin ripping and NO PAIN WHATSOEVER. I cannot say this about any other wax I have had done. I was shocked by the difference. I am used to being slightly maimed at other salons. No joke, I have probably used 8 salons you would know by name and would be in extreme discomfort for days. Very reasonably priced as well. Sometimes I need services on short notice or a special request. Kalypso always tries to accommodate my busy schedule even if inconvenience to them. Jessica is very knowledgeable about skin and brows. I wish I could have her soothe and smooth my skin every day. Jessica recommended a brow tint and shaping on my light and thin brows. It makes a big difference. I had no idea. Really frames my face and enhances my lashes. If I could have a perfect day it would be spent at Kalypso having all services done. I just feel so groomed and put together when I leave.

Very disappointed with my experience at Luxe Spa…read more I had a facial on 9/5 that unfortunately did not meet my expectations for a nearly $200 service. The dermaplaning felt rushed, and afterward my skin was noticeably irritated, which is unusual for me as someone who has had dermaplaning done regularly. The overall experience also wasn't particularly relaxing. There were several instances where products or jars were placed down loudly enough to startle me while I was trying to relax. For a service marketed as a relaxing, luxurious experience, those details really matter. To be fair, the esthetician was very friendly and kind, so my concerns are not about her personality. What has been even more disappointing is the lack of customer service afterward. I emailed Luxe Spa on 9/8 explaining my concerns and asking someone to reach out to discuss the experience and how it could be made right. After receiving no response, I followed up, and I still have not heard anything. I intentionally reached out privately first because I wanted to give the business an opportunity to address my concerns before leaving a public review. Unfortunately, being ignored after spending nearly $200 on a service feels extremely unprofessional. I expected much more from Luxe Spa and will not be returning.

I haven't had nails for about 20 years, and Cindy graciously and thoroughly explained gel and gel dips, versus the acrylic way for long nails that I remember. Cindy asked what I wanted and had tons of colors for me to choose from. I chose pink and I keep my nails short due to work & the need to be on a computer. For short nails she recommended the gel dip and glued on a couple tips so my nails would be the same length. My nails break, split, bend, etc, so the tips would also help protect my nails as they grow in. My appt took about an hour. Lots of regulars came in, everyone was friendly and chatted, and we watched AGT on YouTube TV (lots of golden buzzers). Time passed quickly, Cindy explained everything she was doing and said to come back in 3 - 4 weeks depending on how fast my nails grow. I love my new strong, pretty nails and will definitely be back.
