I described the New England donuts in North Providence for the first time today. We got the…read moreassorted donuts plus something that was like a French cruller. I found the donuts to be a little bit bigger than Dunkin' Donuts, and the inside to be more fluffy. However, the outer part may have been slightly more chewy. They have a walk in window , and they also have a drive through. The service was good, but they're expensive. A dozen is about $18, which is about $4 more than Dunkin' Donuts. I still think Allie's donuts is better than all of them and bigger, but those are even more expensive. In any case, they were good, and I would recommend them.

You can tell everything is made fresh, looks, taste, frosting to perfection my daughter and I both took a bite at the same time and instantly went to donut paradise lol Prices were great, not as expensive as over shops but they could be, I would pay double for what I had considering how delicious it all was! My coffee was made 100% perfect - just the right balance of flavor sugar milk etc. The employees were so nice and friendly, answered our questions kindly.. we needed a few minutes to look over the menu - we didn't feel rushed at all. If you are in the north Providence area stop here you won't be disappointed! (:

So we walked by this place while trying to get to lunch. We decided to not have dessert at lunch…read moreand come back because I've heard good things and there was a long line inside when I looked when we walked by. When we walked in, the was no longer a line and there was a reason. You need to come here early. I mean before 11am early. They will sell out. When we walked in, there were only a few donuts left, 1 row of crullers, 1 row of GF crullers and half a row of churro crullers. My husband hates crullers, but they're my favorite donut, so I thought I was the only one who was going to get one. I may have said this out loud and I think one of the people working felt bad for us, so she produced a box of gorgeous donuts and let us know that someone hadn't picked up their order and we could choose from this box if we liked. There were a few my husband would like, so we bought 4 of them. Holy moly! These donuts are fan-freaking-tastic!!! They were a little too big for me and kind of greasy to be perfectly honest, but they were also so soft and fluffy, with a crisp exterior. The flavors were bold and delicious and they were even good the next day when I ate my second one.

I stopped by on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. I took a look at the availability of donuts and ordered a Coconut Mocha (cake) and Honey Cruller (flourless). The coconut mocha is made of vanilla cake, vanilla glaze, toasted coconut, and mocha drizzle. It reminded me of Girl Scout Samoas cookies. I've gotten the honey cruller previously and always enjoyed it. PVDonuts is always a good place for donuts. I also liked that these donuts are a little smaller than the filled ones and less sweet.
