Really good donuts. Light and fluffy and not too sweet. Was on a hunt for Cambodian owned donut shop and found this place on Yelp. Gotta say it's legit. The apple fritter had lots of apple bits, my jelly filled was loaded. Kinda sad that they ran out of regular glazed donuts.
Smells fantastic inside. The shop layout and names of the donuts are creative. Ordered 3 donuts and they filled the empty spaces of the container with doughnut holes, which is the first time anyone has done that (thank you!). Ordered the Stranger Things and Strawberry Cheesecake donuts. Both tasted fluffy and sweet. Can see myself coming back.
I ordered 3 dozen donuts for an event recently & was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service & attention to detail that Glaze'n Daze provided. The workers were enthusiastic & helpful, even calling me to tell me that their plans had changed & I could come to pick up my order even later in the day (& closer to my event time) than we originally planned. That was extremely helpful. They gave precise instructions on how to properly store & transport the donuts & they also threw in a whole bunch of munchkins & other extras I didn't order! Very sweet! Although I couldn't eat the donuts (I'm gluten intolerant) I could watch everyone else enjoy them & live vicariously through them. They were a great hit. They were also GORGEOUS donuts - each one of them was a work of art! 3.5 dozen donuts was $120. For artisanal donuts like these, that's a great deal. I definitely recommend Glaze'n Daze Donuts for bulk ordering & special occasions.
I tried the Boston cream donut, delicious, as was the thick, very chocolatey frosting. Our first order that included the pineapple/coconut donut had great flavor, the second time though, it lacked a bit. The donut was still fresh and delicious. Strawberry crunch is another great flavor, especially the creamy strawberry center. Maple was good, too. We usually have them delivered but there have been no issues with service. Since we did get delivery, a great detail were donut holes between each donut, stopping things sliding inside and getting squished. Such a clever little extra taste.

Their hours can be somewhat limited, and popular donuts usually sell out quickly, so it's recommended to visit early for the best selection.
Came here for the RI FOOD FIGHTS #BestDonutsRI competition after lunch. The first place we've been may end up the best. OMG, this place is worth the visit no matter where you live. Awesome selection, and if they are out in the case, she will custom make them for you. She even threw a few munchkins in the half dozen box for free. Awesome place for incredible donuts. Pictured: PB&J, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Raspberry Jelly Glazed, Chocolate Stranger Things Oreo donuts. Not pictured, plain glazed and chocolate frosted, which were immediately devoured. LOVE this place.
Still the best fritter I've ever had! I was last here 4 years ago and I have yet to have a fritter this good. It's still only $3.09. The exterior is amazing, crunchy and the taste is excellent with a perfect glaze. A few places (Knead) sell "fritters" but they're just brioche donuts that look like a fritter on the outside. Fritters have to be thin and not formed before frying. I also got a hazelnut filled donut ($2.39) which had that nostalgic donut taste. It had a nice airy dough, but unfortunately they really slacked on that hazelnut filling. But the 2 bites with the filling were unbelievable. And thanks for the 3 free donut holes. Great prices and great donuts!
Yummm. I love this place! Everything you could want in a quick grab and go breakfast/coffee/donut shop. They obviously have delicious fresh made donuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffee; you know all the breakfast basics. The prices are extremely affordable, esp for the quality. Probably one of the only places that hasn't raised the prices too high after covid! I bought a half dozen of specialty donuts (honey glazed, fruity pebble, maple bacon, orange glazed, strawberry cream cheese and pb&j), it cost me $15 and they added little munchkins in it too. The donuts are made fresh daily, morning is the best time to go. The service is quick and friendly. I did not notice any dine in seating, the place is pretty small, but like i said great for grab & go. Definitely worth a try! :)
The glazed donut is my Dave Portnoy of donuts. Soft, perfectly glazed and not too sweet. Not as good as others I have had but I would defintiely stop here again. My loss here... the pistachio milk donut. Sounds interesting. I've never had a pistachio donut before. It was empty net to the sign. I asked and he said he has more! He went in the back and returned with the donut. I know why he had more- He picked up a glazed donut and dropped it in the pistachio topping. It was oozing everywhere and I had to wait a long time for it to settle and it was still a mess. I can't comment further on the flavor as it was too sweet from already being a glazed donut! No te gusta. Basically diabetes.

I visited Glaze'n Daze early one morning to grab donuts for my office Christmas potluck. The donuts were light, not overly sweet, frosted, and some were even filled. A box of a dozen cost about less than thirty dollars, and they included doughnut holes as well. I really liked the maple bacon donut. Service was fast and friendly. I can tell that Glaze'n Daze is definitely a local favorite and sells out pretty fast. Ample parking was also a plus.

If you want well made donuts- seriously go here! Their donuts are all well made and fresh. I never enjoyed donuts quite like theirs before. I think its because they're so light and fluffy, and the ones with filling are filled on the spot. I also have a soft spot for this business because their such a hard working couple that devotes their life to this shop. They're also Cambodian owned, which as a Cambodian American it's heart warming to find an extension of love and relatable stories from them right here in my home state. My favorites by far are the Stranger Things donut and the Strawberry cream cheese filled donut. Oh, and also the Creme Brûlée. (Can I say they're all really good?) My sister also got a box of donuts and the frosting smeared onto the box. They insisted on giving another one because it was imperfect to them. I highly recommend them for their food and service! They will also throw in free donuts/donut holes sometimes too. read more

Came all the way to Johnston because I was craving donuts and my usual donut shop, Knead, was closed and PVD donuts is just too sweet for my taste. When I tell you I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing these donuts are! I came here on a Tuesday mid morning only to find most of their donuts already gone, that's when I knew this place must be really good. And I thought correctly! Their donuts are light, not greasy, and not over the top, and they're also super soft and taste almost as good the next day! The person behind the counter was also very friendly and warm, and super apologetic that he didn't have more donuts. Can't wait to come back again to try the other types of donuts they have! read more

I love the fact that Rhode Island is the Doughnut capital of New England! Driving to Boston, I need to stretch my legs and have something to eat. I set a course to Glaze'n Daze Donuts. Located in a small strip mall, there are about 15 parking spots. Walking inside about 10:30am, there are a good amount of doughnut flavors. The shop itself is cute, there is a window shelf type table to enjoy a cuppa coffee and a doughnut. The doughnuts have a look, they're very pale is a good description. Maybe lightly fried? One of the doughtnuts caught my eye, the Creme Brulee doughnut. It had a brulee top and was told it could be stuffed with Boston Cream or various Jellies? That sounds amazing but there is an apple fritter that is calling me. The choices are so good, my son ordered two doughnuts! We open the box and take a bite. Wow. That apple fritter was ah-mazing! Kinda crunchy but packed with flavor, this freshly made apple fritter was made with some oven lovin'. Perfecto. Glaze'n Daze Donuts was worth getting off the highway and making the stop. If you check into Yelp, they'll have a free coffee waiting for you. read more
These donuts are different than any other donut you're going to get in Rhode Island. Why? 1) They're mostly yeast-based and 2) some flavors are a gourmet while others are simple (like a cinnamon twist, plain glaze, or chocolate frosted). A third difference is the density of these lil doughs. They are incredibly light and airy and fresh. If you enjoy a simple Krispy Kreme donut from time to time, you may understand the lightness and airiness I'm talking about. Except of course these are not commercially-made donuts, so they are much better than a Krispy Kreme. Not that I have anything against a Kreme Kreme ;) They run out of donuts fast so be sure to get there early. But no matter what you get, you're going to love it because across all donuts, the light and airy consistency is present. Their Buttercrunch is one of the bests in my opinion, with the Boston cream trailing closely behind because that baby is FILLED with creamy goodness. Rhode Island is yet again proving to have the most epic donut game. read more

Best donuts in RI. Super fresh. Delicious. They fill the filled donuts to order. Idk how much dunkins donuts are going for nowadays but last I checked the prices were astronomical for trash donuts. You might as well take your money and spend it at a local business and get your moneys worth. The stranger things, apple fritter, cinnamon roll and pineapple coconut are my faves. read more

Located at 39 Greenville Avenue in Johnston, not far from Providence proper, Glaze 'n Daze Donuts has been serving guests since 2017, the taste and price tag a little more Dunkin' than PVDonuts with flavors and creativity that fall somewhere in between. Known for hand-cut "Specialty Gourmet Donuts," the outside somewhat shabby around #instagram-worthy interior, it was from owner Kim that six rounds were selected, cheaper by half-dozen pricing not available due to an upcharged Apple Fritter, though that fact was not clearly explained. Describing a "COMMITMENT TO ONLY PROVIDE THE MOST DELICIOUSLY LIGHT AND FLUFFY DONUTS IN RI" via literature, one bite of an Orange glazed round suggesting success thanks to a substantial rise beneath the flavor of Sunny D, Maple Almond also fared well thanks too restrained sweetness while the not-cake-donut "Butter Cake" was a little dry. Using the same Dough as a vessel for various fillings, Raspberry Jelly at the center of a Peanut Butter glazed round clearly store-bought, suffice it to say that filled-to-order Strawberry Cream Cheese one-ups Dunkin's Pink Frosting by quite a bit while Glaze 'n Daze's Fritter is chock-full of Fruit complimented by Honey. read more
Oh Glaze'n Daze, how I wanted to love you, but couldn't. The donuts we tried were ok - not really worth hunting down, which we did in order to use our RI Food Fight donut challenge coupon. My blueberry donut had a decent crumb. The frosting however was not to my taste; it was overly sweet and had a thick, gummy texture. I tried to peel it off, and actual could peel it, almost like using a cheese slicer on semi-soft cheese where it kind of folds and sticks to itself. Not what I want in a donut! My second donut was a glazed, with vanilla sprinkle frosting. Also too sweet, and otherwise not really memorable, sadly. I also had a coconut cold brew. Sounds good, right? It too was ok, but sweeter than it needed to be (theme of the day). The coconut flavor came from a syrup not the beans, and more sweetener was added from the coffee creamer used instead of regular milk or cream. I drank it, but wouldn't order it again. read more

I LOVE the Donuts from here, I've order donuts about 4 times. The maple glazed, chocolate glazed, strawberry glazed, original glazed, cinnamon rolls, maple bacon, strawberry crunch, the Oreo Nutella one (forgot the name). I love all the donuts. I'm trying to work my way through the menu but I just love all the donuts. Definitely try the donuts here, you can order online and pick up in store.
