The chocolate chip donut is still my favorite! Not over powered with chocolate, not too hard but dense with flavor. Loved the white chocolate dipped portion of the donut. It's just the best! Tried egg nog and it was good but I couldn't eat a whole donut of egg nog.

Went to Knead Doughnuts for breakfast with some friends and we had a great experience! The staff were friendly and efficient, and they served us immediately! Their coffee and pastries were delicious, but their vegan donuts were my favorite! I highly recommend them ( especially the apple cider one!!).

We came here to try their vegan doughnuts, and they were a great way to start our day. They had four vegan options when we visited, and we went with the chocolate cake and chocolate blackberry. Both were good, but my favorite was the chocolate blackberry, because that blackberry glaze was delicious. They change their flavors often, so I'm looking forward to also trying new ones whenever we can visit again. Plenty of seating when we went, and there was street parking right outside.

I always go for the coffee and stay for the strawberry shortcake donut. It is the perfect donut for sure. The shop wasn't too busy for a late Saturday morning. They still had a ton to choose from which made me very happy! Everyone that was working was super helpful and friendly. I always appreciate that. The shop is clean and cute. I think it's a really nice space. Check it out :)

Unfortunately, I am that friend that regardless of what city I am in, I will make you take me to the best donut shop and Knead was that in Providence. We decided to stop by before heading out to Newport on a weekday and it was not crowded at all. They actually have a lot of tables inside, I'm not sure if folks come to hunker down for a bit but it would be a nice place to stay a while. We were just here to grab a couple donuts and get out of town. I went with the apple crumble fritter and chocolate chip old fashioned. The apple crumble... it's the kind of donut you miss when you finish eating it. So buttery and the apple crumbs. I'm not ashamed to admit I was eating the lil crumbs off my napkin, it was that good. The chocolate chip old fashioned was...okay. Don't mess with perfection, is my take on it and I think a plain or glazed old fashioned is perfection. This tasted more like a cookie and less like a donut which wasn't what I was going for, but hey, you might like it.

There really wasn't many options left at 11am on a Sunday. There was only 1 option of cake donuts left so I got churro flavored, it was covered in half chocolate. It was really dry and the churro flavor was barely there. I think a dunkin donut would have had a better texture and more flavor, unfortunately. And at about $5, it's just nothing special. No smiles or greetings from staff, there wasn't anyone behind the counter while we were waiting in line most of that time or had their backs turned. I found PVD donuts to be 100% more welcoming and their cake donuts are much better: they usually have more flavors to pick from even at 11am so maybe knead just doesn't make enough for a weekend day. I don't feel the need to return.

Ugh where do I even begin with this place. The minute you walk in you're welcomed by the smell of magic. The staff was friendly and helpful with helping you choose from the many options. My friend and I ended up getting a few options but ultimately loved the vanilla glazed as it was a classic. The donuts on the pricier side but honestly worth it. I'd say show up early to get a chance to pick from more options and they also offer gluten free and vegan choices. The selection is filled with unique flavors, seasonal items, and your classic donuts. Perfect for a weekend treat.

Brioche, cake, and old fashioned - the trifecta!

Knead is the best of the best. The freshest glazes, the softest brioche, and the distinct lack of deep-fried aftertaste. I also love their old fashioned (best in state - Allie's fans can fight me) and cake donuts. They all have their own personalities. The raspberry fritter is my all time fav but I love all of their seasonal fruit flavors - so fresh!!! This was my husband's postpartum treat for me, while I was still in the hospital after giving birth. I had gestational diabetes, and the one thing I repeatedly mentioned wanting to eat after the baby was born was Knead donuts. That's how much I love them.

    Chanel B.

I bought the things that caught my eye. lol I just pointed and that's how I selected my choices. I believe the brown one is a brown butter. The muffin looking one was cheese something lol The hot pink one is raspberry something lol listen, when it's your turn to visit, do what I did! Use my picture for reference. lol everything is good. The store smelled of coffee and sweets. The young lady at the front assisting customers was pleasant and patient. If I'm passing by I'll definitely go back again.

15 minutes before close & it was a dream! So happy their employees welcome customers right until the doors are locked, to me that's a wonderful quality they have! Wow.. I LOVE Knead!!!! Knead to go here more often! Their vegan menu and selection is spectacular, the 3 that I tried are absolutely to die for! I know they have a huge menu but I truly wish they made MORE vegan options I'd buy them all! My partner and I also enjoyed nitro cold brew. The employee was very sweet, she didn't rush our choosing and was very attentive. She offered to place the pastries separately since mine were vegan, 10/10 very thoughtful, I love when people go the extra mile. This is a place I wish I could come once a week! Since we arrived so close to their closing, she gave use a few of the donuts for free. Best experience; even coming so close to closing! We would've sat inside because it was also so beautiful, but all the chair were up. No biggie, we sat an enjoyed out pastries and donuts at the park! My partner LOVED his selections as well. The nitro is super strong!!!!

Ambience was great. Service was great. Doughnuts were mid at best. Also five dollars a donut is insane... Not trying to sound rude and I know running a business isn't cheap but, I travel a lot and the cost for the taste just wasn't there for me. Very dry.

We spent more on Uber to go here before our flight! The doughnuts we tried were worth it! It's in a quaint part of the town. We went here on a Sunday morning.

Came here for some breakfast. The staff was super friendly. The cafe had a nice seating area inside as we all an outdoor patio out back. We got a couple items to share. The popover was underwhelming. We wish it was heated up. The top had nice flavor but the bottom was so dry. The chocolate almond donut was too sweet. Standard glazed donut. The drinks were good. The matcha latte was not overly sweet.

When we walked in, the was no longer a line and there was a reason. You need to come here early. I mean before 11am early. They will sell out. When we walked in, there were only a few donuts left, 1 row of crullers, 1 row of GF crullers and half a row of churro crullers. My husband hates crullers, but they're my favorite donut, so I thought I was the only one who was going to get one. I may have said this out loud and I think one of the people working felt bad for us, so she produced a box of gorgeous donuts and let us know that someone hadn't picked up their order and we could choose from this box if we liked. There were a few my husband would like, so we bought 4 of them. Holy moly! These donuts are fan-freaking-tastic!!! They were a little too big for me and kind of greasy to be perfectly honest, but they were also so soft and fluffy, with a crisp exterior. The flavors were bold and delicious and they were even good the next day when I ate my second one.

It took a while to receive our donuts, but there was a very good reason for that! The donuts were freshly made -- I almost burned by skin/mouth by touching/eating it. This was the best mochi donut experience I've ever had, and perhaps one of my best donut experiences ever. The donut was so hot and fresh -- crisp on the outside, but incredibly hot and chewy on the inside, with a delicious warm matcha ganache topping. We gobbled it down as fast as we could without burning our mouths. I will be thinking about this mochi donut experience for a while. I'm not sure if they usually make donuts to order, but if they do, this is absolutely worth a visit. I know they have a location in Boston, and if they also make their donuts to order, I will be wholeheartedly dedicated to them in the future. My brother confirmed that the donuts taste good when cooled down as well. These donuts were a bit more expensive than I'm used to for mochi donuts, but if they're fresh, it's absolutely worth it.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.
