By far my favorite donuts in Rhode Island! They may not have all the crazy flavors of some of the other donut places that pop up, but their quality and flavors are far and above the best around. I've ordered from all of their various locations across the state and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for a really good, really delicious donut then this is the place to go. Make sure to try some of their other baked goods as well.

Knead Doughnuts is a must try for donuts in Providence. This brick building houses wonderful donuts. There are also vegan and flourless options. The staff were very friendly and were patient with us as we discussed what flavors we wanted to get. I first came here in January 2022 and ordered half a dozen treats. We had the gingerbread, chocolate chip old fashioned, vanilla, jelly, butter croissant, and cranberry corn crumble. Each of these ranged from $3.50 to $4.00. They threw in an extra gingerbread one which was really nice of them. The chocolate chip old fashioned is vanilla based, made with mini chocolate chips and finished with white chocolate. The jelly brioche is filled with seasonal jam, rolled hot in granulated sugar. The croissant was also very flakey and buttery. My favorites were the chocolate chip old fashioned and jelly, but all were good. I like how these donuts are not too sweet. Can't wait to go back and try their other flavors!

Large Jelly Donuts with very little Jelly in them. I don't mind paying $3-$5 / per donut, if they actually had plenty of Jelly. Took me 3 good sized bites into the doughnut before I found the 1 teaspoon of tasty goodness called Jelly! Service was very friendly. Ambiance was old mill decor, wasn't impressed. I will wait a few months and try them again!!

I have been to a different location before in the past while visiting providence, and those donuts changed my life. I visited this different location recently and I was not as impressed, Donuts were average to good but not what I remember, maybe they were not freshed, I don't know, but I need to go again to confirm, I'm not giving up. The place by the way was super nice and modern so worth stopping by.

I love the donuts here omgosh. I do this know what else to say. I think i already wrote a review about here too lol. But yeah their donuts are very fresh & delicious. Full of sugar, just how i like it. The environment is soothing & the workers are friendly. They also sell these donuts at coffee connections locations certain days of the week, just a fun fact!

Not only the best vegan donut i have ever had, but the best donut i have ever had. And i don't play around with my donuts. I would rate 100 stars if i could. I can't wait to try the rest of the flavors! Staff was also incredibly friendly beyond expectations, friendly and made you feel like family. Will be returning every chance possible. Building was super cute, and the cafe inside was clean, sleek and modern with lots of natural wood charm.

The donuts are delicious and it was very covid-safe inside. Masks are required and the number of people allowed inside is limited. There are so many flavors to choose from (including some seasonal) that it can make your choice tough. The employees are very friendly and will give suggestions. I highly recommend the maple sea salt-the perfect combination of salty and sweet!

I ordered the iced coffee, chai latte, vegan peach and jalapeños bacon scone. Everything was on point. I thought the scone would be dry and hard but it was not at all. The scone and donut paired well with the drinks! I thought the doughnut would be on the firmer side, but it's actually soft which is what I prefer more! I also liked the local artist artwork that's displayed around the cafe. There's a cute little children play area, too!

It was my first time visiting Providence and I always love to try local bakeries since I have a big sweet tooth. Knead Doughnuts definitely hit the mark! I stopped by the shop on Saturday afternoon and there was no line. It was hard to choose what to get since they all looked so delicious. I decided on three different flavors. The banana coffee cake was a cake doughnut and reminded me of a banana bread. It had great banana flavor with hint of cinnamon. The vanilla brioche was very airy and had a vanilla bean glaze. The passion fruit was a yeast doughnut covered in a bright fruit glaze. All the doughnuts were amazing! They weren't cloyingly sweet, which is a plus. Next time I'm in Providence, I'm definitely stopping there again.

Knead continuously amazes me with their consistency in product as well as their outstanding customer service. As a vegan in Providence, there are fortunately quite a few options now a days for vegan treats. However when I am craving something sweet I immediately think of Knead. They have been killing it for years and I've always been a huge fan but today was something else- I ordered a vegan donut for myself and a regular donut for my roommate. I paid online and went to pick up the order where the person at the window handed me a box FULL of vegan donuts, explaining that the shop had made extra vegan donuts that day. I know that bakeries can often have a surplus of product at the end of the day, but this is a small business operating the best they can during difficult times. I hope they know it was so, so appreciated and I will always support businesses like yours

When we walked in, the was no longer a line and there was a reason. You need to come here early. I mean before 11am early. They will sell out. When we walked in, there were only a few donuts left, 1 row of crullers, 1 row of GF crullers and half a row of churro crullers. My husband hates crullers, but they're my favorite donut, so I thought I was the only one who was going to get one. I may have said this out loud and I think one of the people working felt bad for us, so she produced a box of gorgeous donuts and let us know that someone hadn't picked up their order and we could choose from this box if we liked. There were a few my husband would like, so we bought 4 of them. Holy moly! These donuts are fan-freaking-tastic!!! They were a little too big for me and kind of greasy to be perfectly honest, but they were also so soft and fluffy, with a crisp exterior. The flavors were bold and delicious and they were even good the next day when I ate my second one.

It took a while to receive our donuts, but there was a very good reason for that! The donuts were freshly made -- I almost burned by skin/mouth by touching/eating it. This was the best mochi donut experience I've ever had, and perhaps one of my best donut experiences ever. The donut was so hot and fresh -- crisp on the outside, but incredibly hot and chewy on the inside, with a delicious warm matcha ganache topping. We gobbled it down as fast as we could without burning our mouths. I will be thinking about this mochi donut experience for a while. I'm not sure if they usually make donuts to order, but if they do, this is absolutely worth a visit. I know they have a location in Boston, and if they also make their donuts to order, I will be wholeheartedly dedicated to them in the future. My brother confirmed that the donuts taste good when cooled down as well. These donuts were a bit more expensive than I'm used to for mochi donuts, but if they're fresh, it's absolutely worth it.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.
