Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile, filled out my pre-procedural paperwork then was escorted to the pre-procedure hold area. All of the "Ts" were crossed & "Is" dotted. I was offered Versed, a hypnotic that relaxes the pt which diminishes stress when facing a procedure. I opted for it. No IV was necessary as the injection was given in my arm (deltoid). Melissa &. Tends were the RN's who attended me until transported to the procedure suite. Dr Parizzo introduced himself, asked the appropriate questions regarding my history (Hx) and explains what was going to be done. I related a traumatic experience during a similar procedure by another MD a couple years ago. Hence my hesitation to subject myself to spinal injections again. All I wan say is "Stellar Performance" from this team! You can (or I can) tell a good physician by the his/her team's cohesiveness and demeanor. That's really all you have to go on until your procedure is done. This group gets 5 honest stars from me!
