I'm now a year and three months post-op from a breast augmentation & have had 0 complications & 0 regrets!!! SOO happy with my results & I cannot recommend him enough!!!!! He's truly an artist. First of all, I loved that he sat with me & explained ALL the pros/cons (of the surgery in general & of the different types of implants) in my consultation, so I could make an informed decision whether to proceed. I had a list of questions that he thoroughly answered. I sat with him for probably 45 minutes to an hour. I deeply regret seeing Dr Park for a scar revision procedure on my face. I had a superficial scar that should've been very easy to correct. However, I now have a considerably worse and irreparable scar as a result of his work. I was awake during the procedure, so I was fully aware of what he was doing and it didn't seem right at all. He was extremely aggressive and it seemed like he was doing a different procedure than the one I asked for. Based on the amount of pain I was in and how nasty the incisions looked afterwards, I knew immediately that something went wrong. He later offered me some filler to even out the area, but it provided minimal improvement. The real issue was the damage he did to the area and the haphazard suturing. He didn't treat my face with care and I'm saddened and angry every time I look in the mirror. It should've been such a simple procedure, and I could've gone anywhere else. Lastly, and the primary reason I felt compelled to provide a review, is because his attitude when I questioned why he did the procedure the way he did, turned really unpleasant. He got defensive on the phone, and in-person even his body language turned unprofessional. It was a huge waste of money, but I would've gladly paid even more money for a good outcome. I haven't written a review in a while but Dr.Park, along with Elizabeth and Sarah deserves one. I got breast implants 8 years ago and gotten to a stage in my life where I didn't want them anymore. I had a total of 5 consultations for an explant and I felt the most confident with Dr.Park. So confident that I went all the way to Oceanside by myself (yes, it's possible) from the Bay Area to get the procedure done by him, which is one of the best decisions I've made. I am really big on reviews, so when I came across his practice on Realself, I also looked up his reviews on YELP and he had great reviews on both platforms. Dr.Park is very calm and patient and answered all my questions and concerns, not like the other consultations I had with other surgeons. He also didn't recommend a breast lift or implant exchange which made me feel like he was more concern with what's best for me and not for himself. Sarah was also very helpful and patients with the tons of questions that I had. Every time I emailed her, she would respond right away. They were punctual with everything just in general. I got local anesthesia so I was awake during my explant. If I can remember correctly, the explant took about 30-40 mins (it was a simple explant without a capsule removal), but it felt like it was only 15mins because Dr.Park and Elizabeth was having a regular conversation with with my throughout the procedure... as if we were having coffee minus the coffee lol. Elizabeth is one of the SWEETEST lady I've met (thank you so much for your kind gesture!). Dr.Park's voice is so calm and soothing. And he lets me know what his doing throughout procedure which is great because there were no surprises. Not to mention, I didn't feel pain not even once! The only discomfort I felt was when he injected the anesthesia before starting the surgery and when he was rinsing my breast pockets, but nothing unbearable at all. Today is exactly a month from my explant and I am so happy with the results. I am glad I listened to his advice of not getting a breast lift. My breast literally looks similar to how it was before I got my implants, just a little deflated (which is expected) but the result is way beyond my expectations. As for the incisions, Dr.Park used the same incisions that I had for my implants (same incision length with no additional incisions). I followed their post-care instructions and my incisions are healing very well. The raised scar has already gone down after 2 weeks of massaging the incisions. First, let me preface this with some background info. My original breast augmentation occurred in Oct 2009 and were silicone. I didn't have any concerns with the implants other than the fact they were close to 13yrs old. I spent quite a bit of time researching for my replacement surgery. During which time I saw two surgeons and was comfortable with one, but then we relocated. So, back to the drawing board! I began researching on The American Board of Plastic Surgery for surgeons in the San Diego area, with a focus on the coast line and North County. I landed on Dr. Gregory Park. Something about him felt right, and so I began clicking on every single thing I could on his website. And then, there it was! The sign I needed that let me know he was the surgeon for me! We are both Air Force veterans, and while I didn't know him, we were actually stationed together at Travis AFB. We also had other assignments in common, but at different times. We even wound up in the same city upon leaving the military, and then here in SD County. What are the odds?! No really, someone tell me cuz I'm not good at statistics. I had done something dumb upon leaving the AF and stretched my lobes to a 00g. So, my first order of business with Dr. Park was to sew those back up. It was also a "comfort run" to see how I'd feel working with him, if I'm being honest. It went swimmingly well! He's a calm person by nature with a steady hand and even keel personality. After that procedure, I scheduled my breast replacement surgery. I had the pre-op and gosh, I was all over the place. I couldn't decide if I wanted to do: 1) from silicone to silicone 2) from silicone to saline 3) from 375cc to smaller 4) complete explant After much dialog back and forth, we chose option 2, keeping with the same size. I did an implant removal and breast lift last year. One of the best decisions I've ever made. I choose Dr. Park because I personally knew him from working at an outpatient surgery center where he does his surgeries. I think his area of expertise is implant removal. He is not your typical plastic surgeon. He is more likely to talk you out of surgery . My results are quite amazing. I have been coming to Sarah RN at Dr. Parks office for over a year and a half for Botox. I use to be someone who was against Botox but it got to the point that my "11's" in between my eyebrows made me look like I was angry all the time. I literally had RBF!!! Sarah does a great job and will never try to upsell me on any additional areas where she thinks I need treatment. When asking her if I need Botox in certain places, she's always honest about the potential outcome of where Botox is administered. I went in wanting Botox and lip filler and left with exactly what I had hoped for, a better version of myself. I'm in love with my results! I really love his technique of using the cannula and injecting the lip filler. I chose juvederm ultra. First of all, these 5 star reviews ARE REAL. Dr. Park is AMAZING, to say the least. That is not even a good enough word to describe him or his skill set. To provide you with some background, I have a "large" mole on my face, right next to my nose, and I have been to several consults in the last 10 years. Everyone had recommended me not to remove it due to proximity to my airway + potential heavy scarring even though that is what I wanted deep down. I was scarred from their recommendations (Ha-Ha, and bc come on they are experts! who else am i going to listen to). Anyway, my last consult was like 5 years ago, so I decided to call around the top candidates I found on Yelp near me -- AND BOOM, DR. PARK. I told him all my concerns from the recommendations given to me: 1) scarring on my face *terrified* 2) is it going to affect my airways 3) I'm looking for complete removal. I've tried Laser before and it did not work, please tell me it'll be an incision. He quickly diffused ALL my worries. He said there will be scarring naturally, i mean cant avoid it, but it wasn't going to be a "pit" cuz that is how the previous experts explained it to me. He also said the incision would not even be relatively close to anything serious. Confirmed - incision. 45 min in and out of office. Honestly, the removal process was so easy. I went in, he gave me local anesthesia (and it hit me in like 10 mins), he made sure the area was numb, and started doing his thing (covered my eyes but talked me thru the whole thing cuz he realized how nervous i was), and yeah i would hear and feel the occasional light clanging of the tools or "snippage" of the stitches, but even with all that..no pain, no foo-foo. He finished in like 30 mins ish and then i sat up, and he gave me a mirror. Stuck a band aid on it and applied Neosporin & vaseline religiously for a week or two. Stayed indoors so that my scar would heal properly and not submit to sunburn. One month in I was already loving the results but now it's been about 3 months and I don't even remember that I did it sometimes. All in all, really great experience.
