Dr.Souze doesn't try to gouge you for your money his results just come out absolutely incredible this has to be one of the best most gifted surgeons in all of San Diego !!!!! I would give Dr.D'Souza a 15 star plus rating if it was available he is a gift such a talent his honesty, his carrying his overall healthy well rounded & honest If not the most honest plastic surgeon I have met to this day and trust me when I say I have met with MANY MANY plastic surgeons I tend to do a bit of over kill when it comes to research and in my defense when it comes to something this important and this particular surgery that I had was over the top Very important & very close to being life changing to me as it had a bit of a scare with it. Everything turned out great with Dr. D'Souza, he was absolutely incredible from start to finish, he was completely transparent and wanted the absolute best for my for my care, for my familes comcern, ease of mind and Their overall wee being., For their care and comfort, to help them, help me through this process. He is if I can say so politely, probably one of the better surgeons I have met along my journey and I can tell you I have met with well over 25 surgeons some of those I've even had surgery with in the past. Let me be clear thus this was not the process here This was my very first time meeting with Dr D'Souza and I'm so very glad I did run into him. I cannot say enough good things about him. If you are on the fence or if you are looking for someone who is like I said transparent wants the best for you. truly Treat you like family not only him but his staff I mean I have yet to find an office that is this loyal to their patient doctor will give you his phone number for goodness sake you can call him at 2:00 in the morning if you have a question and he would absolutely take no offense and be glad that you called him and he just has so much charisma He's an absolute artist and like I said I just couldn't ask for better, my family is extremely happy and couldn't be more grateful with his work ethic And the time he took so much to answer everyone of our questions and we had a lot! We even had a second meeting with him just to go over more questions and he never once complained once and genuinely was happy to do so. My husband thinks the world of him and 6 months out from surgery he is still talking about the doctor and how wonderful he is! If I could give back even just the smallest piece of what Dr. D'souza has given me to me in my life and my self esteem and some of my dignity back that I didn't have for far, far tong ling q- back in my life I tenfold I just don't think there's enough money or gifts that come from the heart and the soul the My life back filled my heart and soul my dignity basically he's giving me a lot of my life back! i highly highly suggest you see him listen, He's young so up on the latest and greatest but very nice & up to date on all the older school techniques. he's just a fabulous fabulous Doctor. I am getting nothing for saying this I just am 6 months out from surgery Very impressed and wanted to pass the message along to anyonelooking to get some fabulous plastic surgery I would highly highly highly recommend setting up a consultation the Dr D'Souza and his staff his staff are absolutely wonderful to work with They are above and beyond helpful as well as the doctor do yourself a favor Set up a free consultation I promise I bet you'll be at your top three contenders of surgeons that you can will find (most likely the number 1) Thank you Doctor D'Souza, Daphne and everyone at the office you guys have all been so wonderful I can't thank you enough! You truly are like family and I hope you keep up this good work andI just know we will know each for a very long time to come. Take care, everyone can't wait to see everybody soon. Imagine you are considering placing your trust in a highly skilled plastic surgeon, prepared to…read moremake a significant emotional and financial investment, only to have that surgeon tell you that honestly, you don't need the procedure you came in for! And then, he recommends a better, more appropriate, solution that saves you a considerable amount of money. That was my experience with Dr. Gehaan D'Souza of Iconic Plastic Surgery, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person and physician he is. Dr. D'Souza is an exceptional surgeon with something that is unfortunately rare: true integrity. He is thoughtful, ethical, compassionate, and clearly guided by what is best for his patients; rather, than what benefits him financially. His honesty, and professionalism immediately set him apart. Most important, the results exceeded my expectations. His skill, precision, and attention to detail are remarkable. Throughout the entire process, the continued care and follow-up have been outstanding. The wellness checks are genuine, reassuring, informative, and thoughtful -- you are truly cared for, not just treated. With Dr. D'Souza, you can be confident knowing you are in the hands of a highly talented surgeon who understands the goal is to enhance your natural beauty, never to make you look "overdone." Dr. D'Souza's knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming staff add so much to the experience. From the moment you walk in, you feel comfortable, respected, and at ease. There is a warmth in the office that makes every visit feel personal. Although Dr. D'Souza's lovely wife, Sabrina is not an employee, she contributed to the energy of the office atmosphere. Meeting her gives insights into the warmth, kindness, and positive energy that surrounds him. Her creativity and playful touches throughout the office created a warm, and uplifting space. I highly recommend Dr. D'Souza. His exceptional talent, honesty, compassion, and dedication make him the kind of surgeon you hope to find when making such an important decision.

He performed my…read morebreast explant surgery without capsulectomy, and the entire process exceeded my expectations. I had no drains and virtually no pain. Honestly, the hardest part of recovery was reminding myself that I had just had surgery because I felt so good afterward, I had to consciously slow myself down and take it easy. That alone speaks volumes about Dr. Park's skill and technique. I am now two weeks post-op and I am beyond happy with my results. My breasts look almost better than what I started with. Even with the steri-strips still on, my incision is clearly healing beautifully. I've had no swelling, no bruising, and my recovery has been incredibly smooth. Dr. Park is truly gifted, and I felt confident and well cared for every step of the way. If you're considering explant surgery and want a surgeon who prioritizes precision, comfort, and outstanding results, I highly recommend Dr. Gregory Park.

On June 21, 2025, I visited Avalon Laser to treat a few facial spider veins after seeing the…read moredoctor's work on social media and reading positive Google reviews. What I expected to be a routine cosmetic procedure unfortunately resulted in a much more difficult outcome for me (photos attached). Shortly after the treatment, leaky blisters formed, and about a week later they developed into scabs on the treated areas. When the scabs eventually came off, many areas appeared indented and concerning. During virtual follow-up consultations, I was told the healing process appeared to be normal. However, my skin continued to worsen, and I later sought care at an emergency room, where the injuries were documented as burns and I was referred for dermatologic follow-up. Avalon Laser offered additional treatment options, including a CO laser session or microneedling at their facility, and also suggested that I see a dermatologist in the Los Angeles area. I did undergo one CO laser session with Avalon Laser, but I ultimately decided not to continue treatment at the clinic because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding there. To their credit, the clinic checked in with me virtually on a regular basis and offered encouragement during the healing process. However, my recovery has been much longer and more challenging than I expected based on how my skin appeared. Since then, I have consulted with several specialists and undergone multiple treatments in an effort to improve my skin. The recovery process has been lengthy, painful, and uncertain. The clinic refunded the cost of the original treatment, which I appreciated, but it has not come close to covering the many additional medical visits, treatments, medications, and skincare products I have needed since then. The emotional impact has also been very difficult. For weeks I struggled to sleep and often cried at night. I became withdrawn and stopped seeing friends because I felt embarrassed about my appearance. What began as a simple cosmetic procedure has turned into a long and ongoing recovery. I attempted to pursue compensation through legal counsel and sent a demand letter, but I did not receive a response. I also followed up by email without success. I am sharing my personal experience so that others can be aware and carefully consider their options before undergoing treatment. Got the Groupon for 60 units of Dysport and finally redeemed it. Made an 11:30am appointment, but…read morethe waiting room was completely packed. I had to stand outside. Wasn't for long as they called me in to fill out a questionnaire inside one of the treatment rooms. Overall, staff was very friendly. Service was excellent. They even had me put a cold compress on my forehead to numb any pain from the injections (I have never seen that before at any other botox/dysport office and I have been to many). On the Groupon itself, it says at the top that you can buy additional certificates after a minimum of 30 days - which is another thing I have never seen anywhere else. Most places only let you use a Groupon once, or once per year.

Dr. Grove is a wonderful doctor with a very pleasant bedside manner. I felt comfortable with his…read moreassessment and surgical plan for me. He made me feel at ease and I am fortunate that he was my surgeon. However, the rest of the staff at MISNC treated me unprofessionally and very poorly- the worst of which was Melanie, Dr. Grove's medical assistant. Even though my PCP put the referral in as urgent, it still took almost a month just for a consultation because, and I quote, "How do we know you have a hernia? If you're in pain you should just go to the ER and you won't even have to come here." Back and forth with my PCP about the surgeon "not having my note" and no diagnostic ultrasound was ordered. My PCP said they would order it. The surgeons medical assistant said he won't see me until I have one. So they were just going to make me wait one-two-three- four weeks for just a consultation. They wouldn't even let me make an appointment with the doctor just to talk to him!!!! PCP calls me back and orders the ultrasound. Then and only then did they finally make me an appointment. Three weeks of being told "they don't have the notes" and "doctor hasn't read my notes" to "how are we supposed to know you have a hernia? Just go to the ER." Got scheduled for surgery a month after consultation- mind you they are supposed to call within 72 hours for urgent or 7-14 business days for routine. THREE WEEKS LATER, I finally call their scheduler and ask what's going on- get a bunch of excuses about they're busy and booked up until the end of January. My referral was initially entered to consult with surgeon in the middle of October. Surgery referral was approved 11/20. She finally calls me back and apologized and offers me Dec. 11th. I had my surgery yesterday and everything went well, Dr. Grove was fantastic and did a great job. Fast forward to today and the wound is bleeding some and I'm having massive pain upon ambulation. Post op nurse at the hospital advised me to stop taking the ibuprofen and call surgeon ASAP. I called and left message. An hour later the MA calls me back and once again- her only words of advice were "Since you're in pain with bleeding you should just go to the ER." Twice now she's pawned me off saying not their problem- I should just go to ER. No different meds or anti-inflammatories. No office visit to check sutures. Just go to the ER. I tell you, I've never been treated so poorly as a patient in all of my 36 years. I've had children and this was my fourth overall surgery. Dr. Grove, your office staff does not do you justice. I have no desire to go back for my two week post op visit. I have no faith whatsoever in the staff at MISNC. If I wasn't under an HMO, in pain, and just wanting to get this over with, I would have definitely gone somewhere else. They obviously "were busy" and made me feel discarded and like a nuisance. ***Fast forward to July 2020. Horrific episode of nausea and vomiting. See PCP via telehealth after finding a protrusion at surgery site from Dr. Grove 12/2019. She recommended a new surgeon when informed about poor experience here. Saw a new surgeon less than one week later who is going to fix the now incarcerated recurrent ventral hernia, wish I was not in this position. Never once did I have to play phone tag with new office. Surgery scheduled next Monday to finally fix what should have been done with Dr. Grove. Sad about my overall experience here and wish it didn't have to warrant a second surgery to fix what he quoted were "indestructible sutures."
