On June 21, 2025, I visited Avalon Laser to treat a few facial spider veins after seeing the doctor's work on social media and reading positive Google reviews. What I expected to be a routine cosmetic procedure unfortunately resulted in a much more difficult outcome for me (photos attached). Shortly after the treatment, leaky blisters formed, and about a week later they developed into scabs on the treated areas. When the scabs eventually came off, many areas appeared indented and concerning. During virtual follow-up consultations, I was told the healing process appeared to be normal. However, my skin continued to worsen, and I later sought care at an emergency room, where the injuries were documented as burns and I was referred for dermatologic follow-up. Avalon Laser offered additional treatment options, including a CO laser session or microneedling at their facility, and also suggested that I see a dermatologist in the Los Angeles area. I did undergo one CO laser session with Avalon Laser, but I ultimately decided not to continue treatment at the clinic because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding there. To their credit, the clinic checked in with me virtually on a regular basis and offered encouragement during the healing process. However, my recovery has been much longer and more challenging than I expected based on how my skin appeared. Since then, I have consulted with several specialists and undergone multiple treatments in an effort to improve my skin. The recovery process has been lengthy, painful, and uncertain. The clinic refunded the cost of the original treatment, which I appreciated, but it has not come close to covering the many additional medical visits, treatments, medications, and skincare products I have needed since then. The emotional impact has also been very difficult. For weeks I struggled to sleep and often cried at night. I became withdrawn and stopped seeing friends because I felt embarrassed about my appearance. What began as a simple cosmetic procedure has turned into a long and ongoing recovery. I attempted to pursue compensation through legal counsel and sent a demand letter, but I did not receive a response. I also followed up by email without success. $300 for the original botox with the clinic owner, good forehead results, but after day two, a huge sag right in the middle of my face. Five days later I asked for a correction, which my previous clinician at another clinic had no issue with, a few units. Here I got treatment from a lady who looked like a measles epidemic, not a great look for an aesthetician. I was charged full price, again, $336, for a "correction", successfully argued for most of this back. Two weeks later, the correction had made absolutely no difference - waste of time. My wife wanted to add: in between appts 1& 2 my wife had booked a laser appointment by phone. Four days before her appointment, she received an email saying the appointment was cancelled. Had my consultation about a week ago, it was great. My first procedure was a few days ago, my appointment was at 2pm, came at 1:55, the lady at the reception said "she'll be with you in a few minutes". I sat down, waited and waited about 10 mins later a woman came in, filled out some paperwork. About 2:20 she was called. I walked up at the receptionist, I haven't even said anything and the lady said I think she's just running a little late. A little late? I wish they said something 10 minutes after my appointment, not 20. I felt like I was wasting my time. Then the lady that was called in was done, she was checking out. And the same nurse that called her in called me. And I was thinking "WHAT?! she came in after me, but she was called first?!" I was so annoyed that I had to wait 30 mins in total. The procedure itself was less than 5 minutes, I had underarm laser hair removal. It was quick but a little painful for me. I hope my next visit will be better. read more

I went to Avalon Laser for the first time today. I had Botox years ago with a not so satisfying result/experience. Dr. Tirgari was understanding and helpful and made a suggestion to utilize Dysport for my very prominent frown lines between my eyebrows. The process was quite painless and fast and I am excited to see the results from Dysport. Dr. Tirgari also suggested a future plan for some areas on my face using minimal injections to solve various areas in one procedure - minimizing the number of injections which I am all for.
