The waitstaff and kitchen are not knowledgable enough to keep customers with allergies or celiac disease safe. My experience at the restaurant: My waitress was hesitant with my order but said she would tell the kitchen it was gluten free so they could take precautions. Having a bad feeling, I went up to the manager who explained that the restaurant is "gluten free - ish" meaning they do not have a dedicated fryer (my waitress told me that they did) and that the gluten free panini I ordered would be heated up in the oven and wouldn't touch the panini press. The sandwich came out with the panini press lines on it so it obviously wasn't safe. After speaking with the manager, I didn't feel comfortable eating any of my food. I just paid for the food and let my friends who do not have celiac eat it. If your restaurant is going to have a dedicated gluten free menu, please at least make sure your kitchen staff has been trained to understand cross contact.
