Despite the trouble I've had with it in a SHORT time period. Not even a week after I brought my "new" used car home I start hearing a noise coming from under my hood after It would be parked from a drive. The sound sounded like a sprinkler was on. Took it into Honda. They said THE BELT WAS LOOSE Tightened it, brought it home. Few days later, STILL HEAR THE NOISE. Take it in to services again, guy hears the noise and says to me "NO, THAT'S NOT NORMAL." We will look into it. Gets a call while car is in service, guy tells me "OH SOUND IS NORMAL" WTF. Okay? Now it's JANUARY 2019 Car DIES I take battery into autozone Am told that BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED BUT CELLS ARE BAD. So now I'm spending money on a new battery because battery doesn't fall under the warranty. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THAT BATTERIES DIE. NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. My encounter with Honda North was absurd and overwhelming. Raj assisted me. I've visited multiple dealerships, but I've never had a bad experience like this. Raj was quite forceful and impolite. He brought me in to run the numbers after I told him I had to get a car ASAP. My financial advisor informed me that I was being tricked when I got in touch with him. Raj asked me, "Are you smart?" and became irate that I was speaking with my financial advisor on the phone. And then asked me "so why do you think you need to get in touch with someone else?" "Do you know how to read numbers?" He was questioning my intelligence, and I felt like a pressured idiot right then. Raj assured me that if I bought the vehicle, I could leave within 30 minutes because I had left him know I had a business training at 5 PM. Raj informed me that I could sign the papers, take a courtesy Honda to my training, and then return to the dealership to pick up my car, so my ride left. He was aware that I didn't have insurance since, at the time, I didn't own a car and didn't see the need for it. He obviously only wanted me to sign everything that day in order to seal the transaction, as everything was done in a rush. Because I didn't have insurance, I couldn't take the dealership's car, but he said he could get me an Uber to and from my training. After my training, I waited for twenty minutes because Raj did not return my calls or texts. The only message I received was "Uber will be there at 7" but it was already 7:20 PM. It was becoming late, and I couldn't keep waiting outside by myself, so I texted Raj to let him know I was going to request my own Uber. I took an Uber to the dealership, where I chatted with Michael at the finance office. He was incredible! I informed him that I was unwilling to work with Raj anymore. Had Michael not been there I wouldn't have continued with the purchase. Micheal was absolutely amazing! And Michael bided his time till my Uber arrived. I tried the Honda from Fresno and it was just poor service as well as etiquette and more since I'm a woman. I tried Honda north and all the times I been here have always been good service.I have not been pushed to get a service done nor humiliated for saying no. They always manage to explain everything to me and just let me know when I should be coming back. The last time i had a young gentleman named Giovanni help me and he let me know that my car was in good condition besides two things that eventually would need service. So we bought our CRV from Clawson Honda & have been taking it there for almost 7 years for all its needs. After the service warranty ran out, every time after service at Clawson Honda, something would be off like low tire pressure. We finally had enough of how fishy Clawson Honda was and decided to give Honda North a try in hopes that they would be better, but NOPE! We were trying to get our windshield replaced, but NOPE, they don't want our business/money & like to waste your time. We have been calling Honda North for 2 days trying to speak with one of their service advisors, but we guess they may only have one service advisor. We were told 3 times that their service advisor would return our call, but that DIDN'T happen! Also, during my initial call, a 7 am appointment was made to get our windshield replaced, but when we got there, we were told that a windshield would need to be ordered & for us to call Honda North to order it and book another appointment. That was a joke because it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through to a service advisor!!! Lesson LEARNED, Clawson Honda & Honda North SUCKS!!! After a few days on with the internet sales team we were told that Honda North could get us the White CRV we were looking for. We agreed on a price and time to come sign the documents. I live 60 miles away and we did not want to drag our young son along so we hired a babysitter. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told our internet saleswomen had "just left". Another salesman jumped in and was very helpful. We got the documents signed and when he went to the manager to get the car we were told they could not find that model in the color we had asked for "White" anywhere, would we like a different color??? I will not buy a car from this dealer again. After buying 4 cars from this place over the past couple of years. They seem to rotate sales team too often and are need of some customer service training. They are rude and waste your time purposely. Sales rep name Jacob claimed to be a decision maker when he was clearly not. He had attitude from the get go as he wanted to know if we were buying or not since his girlfriend was calling for dinner. Their service department is not any better, they told my daughter on 3 separate occasions that she needed tires on her last 3 oil changes. We always buy our tires from America's tires which offer the best service and are always honest told us each time my daughter does not need tires that her tires are still in great shape at 31,000 miles. It was 10,000 miles ago at Honda North the first time they told her she needed tires. Honda's are great but beware of unethical sales and service reps at Honda North. read more

Came in for an oil change so this is review is based solely from this first time experience. Scheduled a oil change for my Honda at this location due to Clawson Honda being booked till next week. Pulled up to the service department appointment section and walked inside. At first glance to your left and right are service reps lined up on phones or computers. I was waiting several minutes to get checked in by someone as a few seemed to have finished up with their customers. I made eye contact with a few reps but none called me to there stand. After several awkward minutes I walked to a desk who seemed to be unoccupied and checked Inn. I explain this because from previous experience at other Honda dealerships the service reps even at peak business times seemed to make sure I'm tended too right away. 45 minutes later the cars ready and complimentary washed as well. The price was $60 compared to other Honda dealerships $40 synthetic oil change. All in all an ok experience. read more

Honda North made my car buying experience absolutely painless. I walked in today early in the morning looking for an HR-V knowing they were very difficult to get. Tim greeted me, found me a sales rep and immediately began checking inventory across the state in an attempt to find me a vehicle. After several calls and no luck I left. A few hours later, my sales rep Vienna contacted me letting me know a white one was available and it was all mine if I wanted it. I sent over all of my information and they got the paperwork going. When I got back to the dealership the car was fueled, detailed and ready to go. The paperwork was painless and Vienna did a wonderful job of walking me through all of the cars features and getting me off on my way. In comparison, I visited another local dealer (Clawson Honda) with a higher rating on Thursday for a scheduled Internet appointment. No one from the Internet department was available or could even be located for 30 minutes. Once someone was found he was busy and didn't seem overly excited to help me. Three other salesmen on the lot refused to offer me any help because I had already been in contact with Internet Sales and the traditional sales team seemed to have some bad blood towards internet sales. I ended up having some issues arise that I had to deal with during the process and didn't complete the purchase Thursday night. She assisted me one time previously, and the customer service experience then was as exemplary as it was today. Twice now, I've been "bailed out" of mini crisis by Ms. Mills who has genuinely gone the extra mile to help me. The previous time related to a faulty power window switch in my Accord. My experience with other service advisors has not been as pleasant in the past, to wit, I've experienced dismissive attitudes and/or unfriendly service; however, I'd give this service department another chance, so long as Jolene was my advisor. Did not offer to look for the vehicle that I had seen online. Also did not offer to find the vehicle that we wanted even at another dealership. Then he let us walk away when we were planning on buying a car today. This is our 3rd visit to this dealership in the last 5 years. I used to go to clawson but had a bad experience with them so I will never go there again. Honda North is father for me but worth it. Took my car for routine service and Johnathan was the guy that helped me. He was very friendly, polite and explained everything they did to me. It took a little longer than expected and he was very apologetic. The only negative was they had my husband's phone number for my contact info and I asked them to change it and put my number on it and they didn't. They continued to call and text my husband's number. I called them and they assure me the number has been changed. Other than that, very positive experience! read more

I usually take my car to Clawson, but because of CV19 they had changed their hours of operation and were closed. Out of desperation I took my car to Honda North. Never again! I was told my sensor needed to re-calibrated. After 4 hours and an over $500.00 bill (after they allegedly took off 1 hour of labor charges) my car was reaedy. This repair should have been covered under warranty, but I was told, they didn't know if it was something "I did" or if the bracket on the sensor "just broke." Needless to say, I was not happy with the amount of time it took or the final bill. I would not recommend Honda North to anyone and I will NEVER go back there again. read more

I sat in my car waiting and waiting for someone to come over and talk to me cause thats what they do at Lexus dealer. I waited for almost 30 min. A couple of guys greeted me but never came over to talk to me. After siting there for nearly 30 min i left cause i had to go work.
