General Manager is extremely professional, very quick to call back and answer any questions or concerns appreciate the help !

Scammers. Ok you can see I wrote a negative review before. The ONLY reason I came back is Honda told me I had an extended warranty for the passenger side airbag. They charged me $295 just to look at the car and had me wait 3 hours just to tell me it wouldn't be covered and that it's the drivers side. They assumed I knew nothing about cars and of course they recommended a ton of services and parts that were not at all necessary for my car. For example a transmission fluid service-I had just got one done two months ago. So, they recommended it without looking at it I guess. That right there is just one reason for the bad review but also I just think they over price in general they told me that my entire airbag system needed to be replaced and quoted me for over $1300. What's sad is the guy who gave me that rundown couldn't explain exactly what the issue was so I don't think he was very knowledgeable. so I went ahead and did some research and took it to a local mechanic in Auberry (Dave's auto) who told me it was in fact just one part of the system and that it would be $250 for the genuine factory part and labor. :D read more

honda clovis north is the worst!!! very poor customer service!!! been trying to get recall service done on my honda civic 2022. i keep getting the run around. i've contacted them 4 times already and i keep hearing, "one of our service advisors will contact you soon regarding appointment for the recall service." it's been over a month now with no phone calls or emails from them. i recommend taking your services elsewhere if you want results!!! read more

Honda North has the best customer service in the car dealership business in town. Their staff is always willing to accommodate to their customers schedules and make sure you are happy with their service and labor. Every time I need an oil change or any type of service, I get a great experience. I took my Honda car to get detailed and the guy said my highlights were too damaged and needed to be replaced. I was willing to replace my headlights, so I called Honda. Each headlight is $1k due to the model of my car :( then they told me the headlights only needed to be buffed out. For $149, my almost replaceable headlights look like new now! I am sooooo happy! Eric and Jonathan were such great sports and helped me with my headlights (service and parts employees). My headlights look unrecognizable now. read more

I bought a used car from Honda North in March 2024. I drove the car like normal only putting on 450 miles a month and 10 months later the engine blew out. Since the car was used the dealership didn't offer any warranty so now I'm looking for a new car and I won't be coming back to Honda North for that purchase. read more

11/21/23 scheduled service 60k left car with Honda 24 hrs picked up 11/22/23 plenty of time to obtain a safe maintenance on our vehicle before our trip to Vegas 11/24/23. Picked up car 11/22/23 no issues up until we finished grabbing coffee and a filled up before hitting the freeway. As we hit the 168 freeway we suddenly heard a loud scrapping sound we quickly pulled over and inspected issue. When i inspected the car I found that the oil guard shield was hanging on by 1 fastener. Called Honda immediately drove car to Honda safety and now after an hr to repair and set back an hr they ended up installing a completely new guard underneath our car. $397 was the service cost for Honda to tell us that a "new tech" failed to fully correctly perform inspection and found that the tech failed to fasten the screws. This issues is very unacceptable and could have been a lot worse if on the i15 heading into Vegas. Service writer tried his best for damage control. I've emailed service manager and GM with all pictures and hope for a better outcome for this situation. read more

I've been here numerous times and i hate it. Just recently came in and special ordered some parts to get my car back up and running i was promised it would be in on Tuesday. Called Tuesday afternoon since I never got a call for my parts. Talked too an employee and said he'd call me back and let me know if my parts came in. Provided him my invoice number and my cell phone. I never received a call back that day when I was promised a call "in a bit". I had too go in the next day and to get my parts. Other time. Bought an OEM Honda battery that failed prematurely. Brought it in and they "tested" if for an entire week saying the battery would pass every time. I tested it with showed 0/500CCA and a bad cell. After being charged it was only at 10.5v and it would not start the car unless it was jump started. I ultimately had too buy a battery cause I needed my vehicle back. Had 2 bad visits... I though maybe the first time was just a one time thing... But nope. read more

I had the most wonderful experience the other day at Honda North. I was visiting the area from the Central Coast and was having a hard time connecting my phone to my new car. We came here initially looking for a used vehicle. We knew what price range, payment and interest rate we wanted to achieve. We are Costco members so we were also hoping to get the Costco auto buyers discount that this dealership offers. From start to finish everyone was super nice and helpful. They were so patient, I went back-and-forth so many times on what I wanted to do. They worked with me each time and I never once felt pushed or rushed. I initially spoke to Maria on the phone and through email. At the time I decided I was going to wait on purchasing anything. After about a week, we decided we needed to get something done so we spoke to Petra and set up an appointment with her. When we got there, she passed us off to Jeff who was nothing short of great. We walked in at 3pm and ended up leaving close to 730pm because I couldn't decide. Jeff was so patient along the way. We test drove a used vehicle and a brand new vehicle. He worked up pricing on a used vehicle, a lease and a brand new car. He gave us all three scenarios that way we were able make the best decision. We decided to go with the brand new car and I cannot be happier. My APR is great and my payment is less than what I had thought it would be. The pricing was very competitive considering we had already visited another Honda dealership. I am extremely happy with my new Honda CRV. Thank you so much to everyone at Honda north for taking the time to explain everything in detail so we can make a decision that was best for our family. read more

Poor customer communication , took my sister to look at a car that "hadn't arrived" when clearly stated we wanted to be able to see the car and when we got there it just magically appeared to be dropped off the day. Communication with credit application was very hard they wanted her to sign on a spot that said "joint credit" when in reality it was just her signing. Then , when they came out with an estimate of the total of the car all the add ons were "mandatory" or more like FORCED onto the deal not optional. I should not have to be forced to have paint and protection or some alarm system in my car if I don't want/need it. The finance guy came out to tell us this is how the dealership makes their money that it HAS to be added to every sale here with them and honestly it's disgusting!! they wouldn't even work with us on buying this car , 4k+ for their benefit so they can make money. Oh no! So to say the least we walked I am not letting my sister buy a car from this dealership, it's a JOKE!!! Do not buy here !! read more

I went into Honda North in Clovis in need of a reliable vehicle at a reasonable price. I was referred to Petra, and am very glad that I was. She was very knowledgeable, providing any and all information I was asking about what my options where, and clearly distinguishing the differences between them in a way that was easy to understand. I left the dealership with a remarkable Accord, content with my experience and service provided. The process was made quick and easy with the help of Petra and the Honda North team involved. I have gotten all of my cars in the past from this dealership, and would definitely recommend you shop here if you're looking for a reliable new or used vehicle. read more

Called the Via, Internet Mgr. to inquire if a vehicle was still in their inventory. He stated yes, but would called me back because he needed to check something. Waited 45 mins. He never called, so I called back. He then told me that a customer had it for the next 5 days. I told him then I would look elsewhere. He then called back and said they would have the car back in 24 hours, late Wednesday. We then made an appointment for 10 am on Thursday. An hour later he called back and said great news the car is back could I come in tomorrow (Wednesday). I agreed and set a 10 am appointment. He then stated he was going to send me a link to get prequalified within 5 mins. After 15 mins I called back to give him my email and he stated that another salesman is show the car and if they don't buy it, he would send me the link. I have never dealt was such an unprofessional company. Buyer beware. I will never purchase or recommend Honda North Clovis, CA. read more

This place is a joke. I wanted a specific color of a car and after the manager tried to push another color, he then made a promise that he will get the color I wanted the next day from another dealership. He even said that I will get it even if he has to hire someone to drive it from Selma to Clovis. I spent hours with them, discussing price, trade in value of my current car, and signed a few things. They even made me pay the deposit for the car. An hour after getting home, the salesperson called and said that they can't get the car after all. I took my money back and went and got the car I wanted from Clawson Honda that same night. read more

My service advisor, Chungyu, was a good listener when I mentioned which service items were very important to me. He assured the service would be performed. The MOST remarkable thing was that I received a video from the servicing mechanic! With my car up on the lift, he showed each location that he checked and which items needed service. My confidence in Honda North Service shot up! The credibility of the mechanic also shot up! I have NEVER seen anything like this. I hope ALL mechanics would use video as a Best Practice to improve communication with the customer and display transparency. No hiding things. NO deceptions. Just honesty and good business. AVOID HONDA NORTH, PERIOD! It was one thing that the invoice was jacked up in price for their pre-applied clear coat ($799) and their auto theft alarm ($895) that they install so that their cars aren't stolen out on the lot, but running a credit check that LOWERED MY CREDIT SCORE 36 POINTS takes the cake!!! After sitting for three (3) hours with cash-in-hand we decided to leave in disgust and return the following day after getting some rest and thinking things over. We reviewed the invoice the next morning and came to realize that our $18,977 car had been raised to over $25,000 because these crooks also slapped on a $2500/100K warranty, when there already was OVER 50K MILES REMAINING on the manufacturer's warranty! After phoning them and having that removed we unsuccessfully could not remove the charges for the clear coat and alarm. So, some $22,000 later, we walked away with my car. I URGE anyone who reads this never to purchase a car from this place unless they stick to the sticker price with the normally added taxes and fees. Clovis Honda North must really be hurting for business. They have nice cars in their inventory but GO ELSEWHERE unless you have a few thousand dollars extra to spare. Oh, and by the way, Harold H., I removed your "Clovis Honda North" license plate frames from my vehicle and put them in the trash bin. read more

Worst service and won't ever buy a honda vehicle again. They had the wrong adress and didn't contact me about a late fee for a leased car that I had on auto pay. It had charged me a $14 late fee. Once I paid for the entire car including the late fees I received confirmation my balance was paid in full. Then I received confirmation from my bank several days later that they had sent a delinquency alert to my bank. My credit score dropped 66 points. I called honda over 20 times through the last 6 months asking for help. I called 8 times asking for a manager and even went into the dealership to talk to a manager but over 6 months I was unable to speak to a single manager. In person the sales associate told me the managers were both too busy. On the phone I was told my issue didn't require escalation to a manager. Their associates on the phone are absolutely no help at all and I completely regret buying a Honda. I will never have anything to do with Honda again. read more

I was in the market for vehicles yesterday and planned on checking out dealerships in this area , 1. I wanted to make an appointment with Honda north because my family has bought 2 cars there in the past and growing up with Honda I've always trusted the vehicles and wanted to still enjoy Honda so giving this review isn't about the brand or the work they accomplish there . This is purely the customer service for one sales man . 2. Mr. "Art" I wish his name could paint the picture of how horrible I had my experience there . I come in with my family and he's the first to greet me , we talk about the car I was looking at and I just wanted to see if there was a deal of negotiation we can continue with but already off the bat it was a "let's sell this to this guy as fast at I could type of conversation " I felt no real common grounds we could build off of it was just being felt forced into purchasing the vehicle . Give in mind I wanted the car cheaper than what is the mark up but when I put that out there he said "let's pretend we aren't buying a car" like he was ridiculing me for attempting to ask for a better deal. Right there and then I thought to myself "wow this guy is a piece of shit " and he shows exactly why there are people who really want to help others out and those who don't give a fuck . Example of that is I went to two other dealer ships right after and both sales man were outstanding gave me their card and helped me find a great deal in my budget and what I wanted just goes to show you that the "power of dreams" doesn't apply to their needs of power of money! Check out Andrew from Toyota And Naween from Subaru Both had what Art had and that is the opportunity to help both him and the customer. Congrats I'm now a proud owner of a Subaru . read more

I haven't had the time to post a review of this place since my experience with them in May/June of this year. My salesperson was great; we made it easy on him by basically getting the pre-owned certified HRV they had. We needed a car fast, test drive it, and everything was good. Signed the papers, waited for it to get a fresh oil change, tank of gas, cleaned up, and we drove it off the lot; within 10 minutes of driving it home, the display of mileage and gas was WONKY. I took pictures of it immediately and contacted our sales guy and he said to bring it into service the next morning. I had work the next day right at 10 so I took it in as early as possible, 8am. Long story short, it was going to take until noon to see if anything was wrong. Talk about SCAM though because the service guy didn't know why we were there and told me that I needed to get an oil change and all the other updates on the car until I told him we literally just got the car the night before and they did all that. Funny because, they had the whole service record online so it's interesting that they wouldn't update the one from yesterday. Anyway, it's HARD to get a call back from the sales manager, and they obviously don't care to contact their customers in time because I was calling and being rerouted over and over until he called back around 2pm to tell me they couldn't figure out the issue and needed to see if they could order parts in. You only have a 2 day window to return anything AND you get charged $500 for a restocking fee if you do. At this point, my pre-owned certified hrv wasn't a good buy anymore. They're supposed to make sure that basically everything is good with this car, and it wasn't. I didn't want to have to use the warranty to fix it up within the first day of buying this car, and he kept telling me that I was covered. I was so unhappy having to fight back and forth with this Sales Manager about how this car wasn't the same car I bought anymore because basically the tags weren't true if there were issues and somehow escaped their "certified" check. He didn't offer me anything but to wait for the repair OR pay the $500 even though the car was basically defective at this point, and I'd be out a car for 4 more days on something they didn't even know would be fixed or nothing. They were giving me the runaround because they knew they couldn't do anything about it. It didn't take until somehow they spoke with another sales manager to offer me another car that I'd be having to wait to get to have another option, and I was already upset with the way they handled their business so who would want to buy a car from them again. Finally, they asked their GM and he told them to just return the car without the $500 fee because he didn't want customers to be unhappy with what they bought from there. Took a whole day and back and forth arguing for this decision to happen. Man was so mad at me, he just hung up after saying that on the phone. Took myself to get a new Subaru instead for the same price as the HRV that had issues. Ridiculous. TLDR; Save yourself the trouble and buy your car elsewhere. Unprofessional, and they don't care about you, just your money. read more

Honda North was awesome! When we arrived there, we weren't pressured into buying anything. We were allowed to look and Nick Savage was very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. They even let us leave so we could think about the price. We even went to OTHER dealerships to compare prices. The other dealerships made us feel uncomfortable. They were pressuring us and saying that, that was the lowest they could go. We even told them our monthly price range and they came back with a price that was way over our budget saying that was as low as they could go. We test drived a car from them and they weren't showing us what the car could do. They had us just take it around the block. We got on the freeway, then the next exit we were told to get off. I was having to ask questions about the car. We ended up going back to Honda North. They were amazing. No one else came close to the great service we received from Honda North. Nick Savage was amazing. He knew about the car we wanted to buy. He showed us what the car could do. We came back because the service and they were able to stay within our price range.
