After a couple months of being serviced for pest control by Hometeam, I raised a toilet lid in my home today and there was a spider very alive crawling along the toilet seat! This was the last of many I killed during our contract. When first my husband and then I contacted the office to cancel today, he was told we would have to pay another month of service - for what service? We are overrun by spiders inside and outside! When I phoned after my husband I was told we would not be charged anymore and I just checked my checking account later after my phone call to the office and I was charged another $54 even though it is not time to pay for their watered down pest control! So buyer beware - we haven't seen any dead bugs but plenty of live spiders and these dishonest people have taken another $54 from us! For what - keeping spiders alive!!! read more

Really liked this service - only used one time- this is our first time- Tech named Shaun was extraordinary- Business wants credit card or bank on file! Take no cash, will take check ! Seems fine- but only first treatment. Got rid of obvious fire ant mounds. Missed a couple very large nests of wasps or mud daubers- will return to get those ! It used to be a good service for about 10 years I ve been with them only thanks to one technician. He was thorough and professional. When new service manager (Jeff) arrived, it became a nightmare. Jeff was very ineffective on scheduling trying to make it convenient and looking good for himself, not listening to what customer's needs are. I could not allow new and randomly selected inexperienced staff to come to my house "for training". So I was happy to terminate the Hometeam service and hire another pest control company per my neighbor's recommendation. read more

The branch in The Woodlands is absolutely the worst. We had them for years. last year they installed termites baites around the house. Since my husband decided to cancel their services, they came and removed all termites bait's, claiming that it is company' policy, to prevent people from suing them?! We have paid for this installation, therefore it is our property. I see their actions as retaliation for cancellation of their services, nasty people. read more

Technicians are friendly and professional. Service is effective. Unfortunately the builders of the homes in this development struck up a deal and only Home Team can access the outdoor system that fumigates inside the walls which I admit is very effective, Downside, this allows them to set the price no questions asked. Last two increases came after the service was completed...not before. I'm looking for alternatives. I don't know about the rest of everyone but I am getting tired of getting gouged and hearing the "inflation" song and dance. When the CEO and executive staff offer to take cuts in pay then...I may be convinced an increase for me is necessary. read more

We have used HomeTeam for years and have never had an issue or problem with them. They come out every three months and after servicing leave a detailed service invoice as well as a phone call of what all was done if we're not home. Such as any issues they found and what they go ahead and take care of, like a wasp nest this last time we were unaware of! As for pricing I believe there has only been three or maybe four increases and we are talking 20+ years of service. We highly recommend them. read more

I am disgusted from dealing with these people. I've had nothing but trouble with them. They charge my card on file very effectively and don't contact me. Come when they want. When they come they do half service then charge again for next service as soon as it's due. I just canceled them and the lady was just overjoyed to cancel. What a way to treat customers. This review is based on the most recent visit. I called in between quarterly services with concerns about spiders and other pests still around after our first service visit. The technician that came out this time, John, was very thorough during his visit. Answered all my questions and tried to address my concerns the best he could. It's not like he can make all pests disappear at once. He even sprayed the attic, which the first technician didn't do when he came out. He said it wasn't really necessary. In fact, that same technician didn't even take 30 minutes to treat the house in an out. John actually sprayed along the areas around the doors and hallways. Whereas the first technician just did spots around. I asked about an area I believed had wasps in it and he checked and sprayed the area and suggested we kept an eye on it, just in case they lodged back in there. Great customer service. I hope John remains being our technician for future calls. read more

Billed me and didn't complete service, didn't inform me of when will show for service, tech didn't have access to backyard and no permission to service, yet administered service to front of house and sent me a bill. There was no agreement from me for Home Team to provide a service to my resident on the day they showed, Home Team decided to provide a service. I have no contract with Home Team. read more

Really don't recommend to anyone to use at all Home Team, if you want to get them to service your home or yards, you need to watch them all the time, otherwise they don't do them required job. Also you need to watch your credit card charge, last two months they increased the monthly charge with more that 250% without telling them customers. V read more

They started off strong but the last few months they weren't consistent. They weren't removing spider webs around the perimeter of my residence, mud nest, and I was still having ant problems at my backyard. So what made me loose them as my pest control company was the Heffer Belinda Brooks at the Houston office. She sent me an email advising me that my mosquito service was scheduled on a Thursday. Cool so I left my side gate unlock. Thursday comes and no call no show. I call the office a week later to find out what had happened and Belinda Brooks advises me that my appointment got moved 2 weeks later. So I questioned her as to when was I going to get notified and she replied, "I'm telling you now that your appointment got moved 2 weeks later". I asked her again and her way of answering my question was to hang up on my face! So thank you for you unprofessionalism Heffer Brooks and hope your company is proud of you for loosing them a customer! read more

Don't waste your time waiting for these guys to show up. We have been through the wringer with scheduling service with this company. They continue to no show when we have a time schedule and than show up when they want. They only do half a job and expect full payment. Managers don't call you back and Customer service lies to you. The Woodlands location is one of the worst service locations. They need to get rid of the customer service team because none of them have good communication skills. I scheduled for service to be completed and the technician did not show up or even call me. And there is no way to get a hold of anyone on the weekend because they are closed. I moved into a newly built home late December 2015 and saw a few spiders in certain areas of my house. Also, a week after moving in, I saw some ants in my garage. The service man explained the treatment plan. The visit took about 45 minutes. He treated the inside, outside perimeter of the house, and also sprayed from an outside receptacle which I have on the side of my house which delivers the treatment throughout the walls of the house.
