He was prompt, professional, and very nice. This was my first time working with a locksmith, so I was a little bit unaware of the process, so I asked a lot of questions about the pricing etc. I wish I was a little bit more aware of the prices; I was a little taken aback at first about the pricing, but regardless, he was very calm about it and was even nice. He gave me a solid receipt. I would totally refer him to others. Thank you, Jeffrey, for helping me!

Now Im gonna have to spend more to replace the lock cos the existing one is messed up.

Being locked out of my apartment (despite having keys in hand at all times) on three separate occasions in the span of five days in the sweltering heat is an experience I wouldn't want any unsuspecting customers, stranded at night in a desperate situation, lured in by the siren sign of this business's misleading four star overall ranking, to have to endure.

I had a very disappointing experience trying to do business with this company. Over the course of…read moreseveral days, I was repeatedly given inconsistent information and told that someone would assist me with obtaining a remote for my vehicle so I could avoid manually unlocking it. I made it clear from the beginning that I needed this urgently. I initially called on a Thursday and followed up with an in-person visit on Friday, only to find the store closed despite the lights being on. I was then instructed to return the next morning and to send my vehicle information, which I did but due to scheduling conflicts, I was unable to return that day, but I continued to follow up the following week. Each time I contacted the business, I was either told that the appropriate person was unavailable or that someone would get back to me, however, I did not receive any follow-up. I was also repeatedly asked to provide the same information multiple times, which was frustrating and inefficient. Model, Make, Year, VIN number and photos of the remote. By the following Thursday, after nearly a week of back-and-forth, I was again asked for my information as if there had been no prior communication. At that point, I expressed my frustration. I even suggested an alternative solution, providing a newer compatible remote if my original model was no longer available but the response I received was unprofessional. During my final phone call, the representative repeatedly interrupted me, did not allow me to fully explain my situation, and appeared more focused on ending the call than resolving the issue. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and mentioned that I would be reporting the experience, the representative responded in a confrontational and dismissive manner, which was completely inappropriate. The call ultimately ended with the representative hanging up on me. Overall, the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism made this a very frustrating experience. If the item was not available, that should have been clearly communicated from the start instead of prolonging the process and wasting my time. I would strongly recommend others proceed with caution when considering or find somewhere else completely. A customer should never be treated this way.

It's for a very old lock and I'd had alternative places (like Ace Hardware) make a few copies of it that just wouldn't work. One visit to 5th Ave Key Shop (and 5 minutes later), I was walking away with a brand new key that cost me $3 (which was cheaper than Ace Hardware) -- and most importantly, worked. Had it not, the locksmith had already offered an alternative solution to come out to assess the door/fix the cylinders in the lock. I'm so pleased with the quality of service here and will definitely turn to this shop for all key-related things in the future. This was an important reminder to support local businesses!
