I live 20 minutes away from this HomeGoods, but I made the drive because I was desperate to find something specific. I bought a small basket in Pleasant Hill HomeGoods and was trying to find a larger, matching one. I felt like it was an impossible mission because different HomeGoods stores don't always have matching items. Well, this HomeGoods in Moraga exceeded expectations! I found two different sizes baskets that matched with the original one! I was also amazed at how nice the people working there were, and how organized the store was. This HomeGoods is really large so they have a lot more options than the Pleasant Hill location. I will definitely make the long drive to come back here!

Black side table, Marbled Plant pot, and Faux fur bean bag!

Came here with a shopping list and am glad to say I was able to check everything off the list!! Deciding on 4 stars because the store was under construction and a lot of aisles were empty and messy. But I still found everything I needed so I'm not complaining! Growing up my mom loved this store and as I'm getting older (and more into home decor) I see why HomeGoods is her fav. Things I bought: *Side table: Love how easy it is to assemble/disassemble. It's a beautiful all black circle side table and looks soooo elegant. *White Fur bean bag: Simply bought this to match the aesthetics of my room. Was aiming for an ottoman, but found this gem. *Plant pot: I knew HomeGoods had to have a selection of pots. And they did! Saw so many cute ones that inspired me to buy more plants. This store has plenty of items/decor to shop from! Def recommend if you're looking to upscale your place at a reasonable price.

We always hit this branch when we are in the area. Staff members are very nice and place is always in good shape. We have bought majority of my house content from this location. They have extensive selection. Parking is well lit and safe.

There is an inexplicable excitement that washes over me whenever I go to HomeGoods, as we drive through the tree-lined curvy roads of Moraga. It is what Sephora used to be for me...a place for discovery and fun. Along the wall adjacent to the entrance were the most delicate and gorgeous accent pieces: animal figurines with sparkly crystals embedded in them, seashells with metallic accents/animals, colorful vases imported from Europe, etc. Homegoods also has rugs, chairs, chest of drawers, entertainment centers, yard stuff, and seasonal items, like barbeque grills. Your eyes can't help but dart around in every direction with the many different hues of one-of-a-kind decorative items in the store. I love the reasonable prices that make shopping there less painful. I was able to exercise some self-restraint, but my sis goes nuts there every time.

Chocolates

Bought my neighbors 3 boxes of these chocolates and all of them were melted and not edible. Quite embarrassing. Home Goods should have quality checks on food items. I called this store today and was told they can't look up my receipt in their system as I no longer have it and they can only give me store credit for 1 of the 3 boxes as I only have 1 in possession. We shop here a lot and the service we experienced with these chocolates is terrible. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB.

I'm in Home Goods in Moraga! For the first time ever in all the years I've shopped here I CAN WALK THROUGH THE STORE WITH A SHOPPING CART and I'm not stepping over stuff all over the floors!! The store is fabulously CLEAN and ORGANIZED!! It even smells clean! I walked and thought what happened??? Keep it up! Great

Yelpers = I am a HomeGoods Whore! I been to the other HomeGoods locations from Santa Clara, Brentwood, San Ramon, Vacaville, Dublin & Fremont. I ALWAYS end up at this location and find what I need and them some! Inventory are stocked constantly all day and everyday so when you leave...... in 10 minutes other items are being stocked on the shelf... I can describe it as a constant climax that will never stop........ it hurts, but in the end you LOVE it!

I came in with a return during a busy time in the store and both the clerk and manager were very helpful. I appreciate the great service!

The HomeGoods in Brentwood is the best since they are near a lot of new build homes so there is more of a selection than the concord store.

Off the beaten path and their clothing selection is way better than their home department. BUT, they do have great designer brands !!!

Nice things but frustrating checkout. Each time I have been there you must wait 10 - 15 min in line to check out. Hire another checker.

Ask the Community - HomeGoods

Does anyone have feedback on the quality of leather ottoman from HG?

Home Goods sells many brands, so we cannot give feedback on an item without knowing the brand. I suggest Googling the brand of the item while you are in-store to see if there is feedback online prior to purchasing.

My kitchen cabinet's about 2-3 years in paint peeling on multiple sites. They did repair this with some hiccups but completed. Then came a few more years in the strip on the edge came off they did fixit. I am reminded at 9 years in there is wear on the cabinets . Let me say I know where it could be my use causing wear and tear but paint is peeling multiple sites, if you do not know they are expensive cabinets as this is suppose to be high end business. The worst part is that it has required so much to get a response weeks and weeks of calls and emails . No commitment on when they will call back . When I ask Lisa when can I expect a call back no response which means what? I currently asked for copies of all cabinet paperwork and warrenty multiple times still waiting for the paperwork. I can respect they are not going to help but, at least provide me with a contact to help fix the paint not just say you can find a cabinet finish company to help you.

Not only is she highly experienced and detail-oriented, she's clear in her communications, reliable, and an educator on all things cabinet. She parses the information you need into digestible portions-- and allows you time you to make decisions. Premier Kitchens will personally come onsite to doublecheck measurements. They check and recheck internally as well. I have complete confidence in this local business, and recommend them without reservation. The whole process can be a bit overwhelming; having someone like Lisa and Premier Kitchens on your team makes all the difference!

The craftsmanship and quality of the work are fantastic, and the finished spaces look beautiful. It's clear they care deeply about design details and the overall outcome of the project. Like many large renovations, we did experience a few missteps along the way related to coordination and timing. However, what stood out to us was that the team remained engaged and focused on making sure we were ultimately happy with the result. They were willing to have open conversations with us and worked with us to find solutions so we could close the project out in a positive way. Renovations can be stressful, but we're very glad we chose Douglah Designs and love how our home turned out.

Douglah review After…read moreliving in our house for over 25 years, we decided to redo our kitchen - appliances, cabinets, floors, countertops, lighting, etc. We also wanted to update our laundry room and hallway bathroom. We were looking for a business that would handle everything from design to installation. We met with Leila Douglah and her staff in their showroom in Lafayette. Fast forward 2 years, and we now have a wonderful kitchen, laundry room and bathroom, and except for the purchase of the major appliances (refrigerator, ovens and cooktop), we never had to work with anyone else. We are very happy with the results, and while there were some snags in the construction process (that may or may not have been partly Douglah's fault), the entire process went professionally and smoothly. Douglah Designs is an all-in-one design/construction service. As you might expect, the total cost of the kitchen remodel was probably higher than if we did more of the legwork ourselves and used multiple vendors. But there are certainly advantages to offset the increased expense. The project was seamless and professional. Many of the craftsmen that Douglah Design uses are employees, not contracted. There is no finger pointing between designers and contractors; they all work together to use make things work. To us, the extra expense was definitely worth it. My wife and I are pretty picky when it comes to design, and Leila and her staff were very patient with us. We did have a similar esthetic, so we were usually on the same page from the start. Leila and Rachel Steely had a level of experience and industry knowledge that was a great advantage. Watching them work on the design and materials selection was very impressive and gave us high confidence that they REALLY knew what they were doing. As we realized, designing a kitchen is actually quite a complicated process, with thousands of details that we would not have even known about, let alone been able to address. But the designs and plans handled every detail and issue beautifully. Douglah recommended vendors and products with which they had experience and confidence, which saved us the trouble of having to vet each product, and which gave us confidence in the products. One limitation of working with Douglah Designs is that you are somewhat limited to products and vendors with which they are familiar and confident, so that may constrain your choices (and which may increase the cost of the project). But we felt that limited choices and extra cost were outweighed by the dependability and quality of the products that Douglah recommended. Overall, we were very happy working with Douglah Designs. They are not for everyone - if you have a different esthetic, or a different budget, or want more control over the process, you probably would be happier elsewhere. But if you want a top notch design and installation and have the budget, we highly recommend Douglah Designs.

Great source of large format porcelain for your projects…read more Beautiful showroom. I love all the textured porcelains. Their European cabinetry really contemporary and a good choice if you can wait 12-16 weeks for delivery.

We were excited to work with them as their tile and vanity selections looked great in the showroom…read more When we received the tiles it was completely different from what we had selected. The samples we liked in the store didn't match the final delivered product. The color was off and the texture was just a print. Not the sample we had seen. Also, I would be very careful going to Porcelanosa, their quality seems good in the store but when you get the final product at home, it is not that great for the price you pay. The stone-looking tiles have a blur pattern that is fake and stamped on and that is not what we saw on the sample in the store. On bringing this up to the team at PORCELANOSA, they said that their batches can vary in color. This was also not told to us when we went to buy the tiles. We wanted our floor tile to be light and the walls to be darker. We ended up having the floor and the wall tiles look the same. The Vanity also was not constructed well. The doors would not align straight. And the customer service is not very good. Not helpful and pleasant to work with. The return instructions we not clear and the whole process was a very bad experience. And they don't provide pickup of the damaged items. You have to arrange for the large vanity pickup yourself pay their shipping fee or take it back yourself. Upon complaining multiple times they agreed to pick up the defective vanity for us. I will not be going there again.
