My husband and i went to this branch for 2 consecutive times to get something that we liked, upon shopping we saw curtains on sale, picked one that we liked and needed another one of exactly the same design but the price is different, went to cashier ofcourse hoping and thinking they will match it, the manager took care of it, they took like 5-10 mins, then later saying ahe cant mark down the other curtain???? the problem here is not her not marking it down but the way she said it, she also pulled the product away from my husbands hands as if we're going to steal it??? veey unprofessional and rude, she's like indian race im sorry to have mentioned this we were not able to get her name because we were so upset and left the the other things we're suppose to pay for. Funny too because we went to the lincoln buena park branch and had the same issue but it was so smoot because the manager marked down the other product. I called ahead of time and the ladies were very helpful in communicating the inventory they had for an aromatherapy diffuser. They also gave me prices of the Ones they had in stock. When I got to the store I had a difficult time finding the plug in diffusers. I looked around and of course was tempted to buy many other things but I resisted! When I got to the register the girl went to to find the diffusers that I couldn't locate on my own, thank you for your service! Even though my item was a previous return I was still motivated to go home with a diffuser (for dry air/allergy reasons), and I ended up purchasing it. I haven't been to other home goods so I can't compare neatness and/or cleanliness but I sure love the options of what they offer here. Would definitely recommend. Tips: good amount of parking in front of the store, great prices- I love the clearance section too. I came here last week and found so many great Christmas decorations. I had never shopped in this store before, and there were some fun things here! This store is full of unique seasonal, bed and bath, kitchen, home decor, and gift items. I was looking at the holiday items but found a lot of great ideas for gifts here too. I typically shop at the last minute for gifts each year, but I plan on coming back soon to shop early for friends and family. I like that this store is clean, has a nice staff, and has a good selection of a bit of everything. I will be back in the next few weeks to finish up that Christmas shopping! read more

currently 6 months pregnant and I had to use the restroom, the first stall seat was covered in piss and I asked two girls stocking if they can have someone clean the restroom and all the girl said was "yea we don't have anything to clean with". BEYOND LAZY KIDS WORKING HERE !! And apparently the maintenance closet was locked ? I asked one other lady and WOW.. the closet magically opened and she was able to clean it for me. read more

I felt special here. I walk into stores and don't usually go for a cart because I'm ltoo lazy. Yet, I end up struggling to carry things and end up working a sweat. The supervisor saw me struggling with some planters and offered to take my things to the front and got me a cart. After, I ended up getting a visa rewards card and walking out with a lot more than planters. I had to rent a small usual to pick up the patio furniture. Well worth it. It was just assembled and another lady wanted it but I had already asked my personal shopper to have it tagged as sold. Honestly, I wondered If the other customer was staged but I heard a cashier calling various stores to find her another one. Which they enthusiastically announced they had but in the city of orange. This place had great things. Pretty organized BUT THE MANAGER ( Tina ) is ruuude. My mom has been looking for lamps for what seems like forever. She finally found some that were practically perfect. One had a ding in one side. As a LOYAL HOME GOODS / Marshall's SHOPPER I KNOW that an automatic 10% off on damaged items IF THEY ARENT ON CLEARANCE. When we went to pay, the young lady at the register was super nice and said she'd ask the manager. We waited for the manager to get off the phone for a few minutes to talk to her. Our cashier asked her for our request and without even looking at the lamp she said "No we can't" and just turned around. I asked the cashier why and she just said I don't know and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager to which I said yeah. I mean my mom finally found lamps she liked and was willing to get the one with the ding. The manager TINA finally came to the register. I showed her the ding on the gold metal. And asked why she couldn't offer a discount on a full priced damage item. Most managers immediately say yea 10% in my experience. She said she's not authorized to do that because it wasn't "as damaged." I told her about the policy I KNOW AS A CONSUMER (you know 10% off on regular priced damaged items) and she said it's not a policy. To add insult she offered a F***ING DOLLAR OFF! According to her that's the most she could discount. The nerve. Those are fighting words from where I come from. My mother immediately said leave everything... I looked at her and said of course not. We came from North Hollywood!! We bought nearly $400 worth of things and left the lamps because she was rude AF! And sarcastic as well. We bought a heavier item which they held up front for us as we shopped. The original young lady helping us handed it to me as we walked out and said, "I'm sorry." TINA THE RUDE MANAGER CLEARLY WAS ON SOME CRAZY POWER TRIP AND SHOULD GET ANOTHER JOB. Never ever coming back. read more

I rarely will go into a store like this on my own but my wife sent me on a mission to find some canisters. I was quite impressed with this store. Although they didn't have exactly what she wanted I walked around and looked at their offerings. Pillows, sheets, towels, stuff for your pet, kitchen utensils, dishes, pots & pans, toys, rugs, vases, gourmet snacks, storage containers, chairs and seasonal items are some of the items to be found. The aisles, though a bit narrow, are all tidy and organized. There are nicely maintained restrooms at the rear of the store, helpful to know if you ever go to a HomeGoods with my wife who will turn a supposedly quick trip to buy a spatula into a marathon shopping session. Some prices are fantastic and others aren't really a bargain at all. Inventory is always changing. Employees were helpful and friendly. I stumbled into this place by an accident. It was right next to Trader's Joe in the same mall. I was surprised that they carried a lot of stuff in here. From furniture to house goods. Even the kinds of stuff for children as toys and books. There were too many things that you needed and wanted such as comforters, bedsheets and other things. Everything here was very organized and orderly stocked. Services here also were fast and friendly. I will come back to buy some stuff for my house. The prices were decent and practical. I told the employee I had never been told that and she said her manager has been saying at that location to say that. Not sure if it's true but they don't have to be so rude about it all the other locations have been amazing in trying to help their fellow hello kitty lovers. read more

Had a really weird encounter with the cash register lady. I get that they have you try to sign up for the credit card for their commission but if I politely say no the first time, that should be enough for them to stop asking. Why keep pushing further. Then she asked if I wanted to make a small donation for the cancer children. Keep in mind I already donate on my own to local hospitals, so I say, "no sorry not today." Again, just ask once and stop pushing. The cash register lady with short curly hair then says, "not even a dollar?" First off, I never donate in stores like this because they all just ask for donations for their tax write off. Second, you don't even know how much I donate to my local hospitals. So if I say no not today, quit pushing. Asking me, "not even a dollar?" How ridiculous. Let's see how much you've donated. Location is good! A lot of times it can be a little messy and hard to navigate with tight spaces but it does have some good finds! Like tends to always be a little long when I go in but moves fast since they have a good amount of employees. Baby section is very limited for boys. I recently needed to get a friend a gift for her newborn and could only really find baby girl items. read more

I bought a HUGE cat tree and was worried how I was going to fit it into my car. This is a new location that opened in August of 2018. It's located in the Cerritos Town Center next to Trader Joe's. The store is pretty big and clean. Their staff is nice they greeted me when I came in and also assisted me on getting a price that was missing on a throw pillow. They have a lot of variety of items from holiday, kitchen, furniture, lamps and a lot of home decor to choose from. I highly suggest getting to this store early to avoid the crowds and to find a parking spot. read more

Very convenient as it's located right next to trader Joe's. The layout is similar with other HomeGoods stores and they keep items organized well. I've been searching for a bowl but haven't been able to find the one that I want, specifically a hello kitty ramen bowl that I saw someone post in Instagram (that they found at HomeGoods). But they have a variety of other character items, including snoopy and Disney characters. Definitely come here for your household needs, it's always fun to get decor inspiration from the store. read more

Honestly I'm obsessed with homegoods and was super excited that it had popped up in cerritos. I went today (one day after their grand opening) and it's pretty busy! They have a good amount of staff if you need any help and everything is soooo organized. I love it! Their wall decor section is amazing! This homegoods is small compared to the ones in Arcadia or Pasadena. Lots of clutter and mess. I know other home goods are messy but this place feels like it's not organized unlike the others. Let's keep it short and simple. I came in for one item but left with 3 but soon as I walked in Tuesday after work I felt that I was being followed. I'm an observant person and recognized a lady 3-5 steps behind me so I turned around and walked towards her and she then picked up an item she wasn't looking at. I casually walked around trying to not let it bother me. I finally found what I was looking for and I checked every item to find the best price. I'm very indecisive so I walked back to isles I've been in already but I finally went to pay after walking around. The young woman at the register was very nice and talkative. I paid for my items and was walking towards the door when I hear "sir!" And then again louder "sir I need to check your items" when I realized the lady with the lazy eye was talking to me I turned around. I didn't correct her that I was a ma'am for the sake of I respect my elders. So she leaned over the counter and told me she needed to check my items to make sure I got the correct discounted price. I didn't mind but she was looking at me very odd and I felt pressured so I let her. I had 3 items and all the prices were obviously good enough to buy. I was carrying 1 item and 2 in the bag. She looked at each price on the items then quickly glimpsed at my receipt as if she couldn't find it and said everything is correct and gave me my items back. I don't understand the point of being stopped. I don't understand why she called me sir. I don't ever see myself coming back here due to the lack of respect from that crooked eye lady that felt that she needed to check ALL my items I just paid for. Was it my clothes? I've always loved Home Goods. That's where I get most of the stuff for the house so you just can't imagine how excited I was to know that they were opening a store in Cerritos. The store had a good selection of items and the store was fully staffed with employees making it easier to get assistance if necessary. Today though, I was very disappointed with how the manager dealt with a situation I had with a non-working item I bought earlier in the day. I went back to the store to exchange it to one that works. I told the manager that I'm still buying it but I wanted to make sure it worked so I requested that they test the new one to make sure. That way, I don't leave the store and get home just to find out that the item didn't work. The manager said that since it's in its original packaging, they can't open and test it! It did not make sense to me at all specially because that was the whole reason why I was back there the same day- because the item didn't work! The manager had me return the item, issue me a credit through a gift card, had me purchase the new item using the gift card she issued. Then I had to open the item myself while in the counter, test the item and just like the original purchase, this one didn't work again! The manager had no choice but to issue me a refund. This whole process took more than the necessary time needed to fix the problem. If she just agreed on testing the new item like I initially requested it would have saved time. Not only am I disappointed at the managers very poor decision making skills, I've also lost my confidence in the store. read more

Gosh!!! where do I begin? Came in here to return something that my mother had bought pre quarantine. A lady named Maggie helped me. This interaction was uncomfortable for me.She gave me feeling that she was on a mission for the item I was returning not to be returned. I had the receipt but no tag, she said we might be able a to return, until I look for the item, ok fine, next she said oh no we can't return because you payed debit and your mom is not here.ok I have her pin, next she looked at the item to make sure it was complete, then again she said we might not return..lady !!!please just give me the refund money and stop saying we might not be able to return!!!!! Lastly, I called my mom and accidentally blurred out ," they don't want to return" then I quickly checked my self "well they might not..... She then interrupted me and said don't say that!!!! Don't say we don't want to return it..... Ladyyyy!!!! Pleaseee for the love of goddd let me just speak my mind freely and stop interrupting me.
