    Gyro platter

Such a fun spot to enjoy a meal! Holy land has its own grocery store and restaurant for any of your needs! We had the gyro platter and Persian platter and they did not disappoint! Served with a heaping amount of food along with a side salad and pita bread, this was a fabulous meal. The service was quick and kind. They also were handing out samples of one of their famous desserts which was nice! Luckily, a World Cup game was also on which made the atmosphere even more fun.

I can't recommend this place enough! The prices are reasonable and they give you a lot of portion!! I had falafel salad, and the falafel was crunchy and crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside!! They also gave tahini dressing on the side, which complemented fresh veggies really well. I think every menu item also came with bread as a side? My friend got the fish with rice and she also got the bread as a side. Servers were constantly checking up on us, and they gave us free desserts for our table (two biscuits and two semolina or honey cakes), which is really nice of them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vibes are lively with a lot of families![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Grabbed to go from Holy Land. The food here is always solid and pricing is always affordable, especially for lunch. They have great affordable and reasonably healthy lunch options for under $15 and as someone who doesn't like to splurge on lunch that makes this perfect. I ordered the Arabic shawarma wrap. It's pretty small, so not necessarily ideal if you're really hungry, but the shawarma flavor is rich, sweet, spicy and everything you want wrapped in one. I also got stuffed grape leaves. They were okay, but a lot more wet and cold than other variants I have had. They also lacked in flavor a little bit and presented a bitterness I'm not used to in this dish. It comes with an option for sauce and I opted for their cucumber sauce, which always adds that extra creaminess necessary. Holy Land not only acts as a restaurant but also as a grocery store so it makes it a great spot to grab your occasional odd and end groceries while picking up lunch. Staff are always kind, service is good, and it's always ready at the time I request when placing my order. Would reccomend this spot to anyone needing good food at a good price.

Very friendly staff who are helpful to answer questions about the menu. When I asked for sumac, the staff member wiped down the shaker before they handed it to me, appreciated that detail! The beef kebabs were a bit overcooked but still pretty tasty. The dish came with a lot of rice and side salad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall an easy going and casual ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Holy land has one of the best hummus I ever had in my life. It's so creamy and delicious and they're pita bread on the side that compared to is just amazing every time I go there I gotta get their rice and the hummus combination is amazing. Recommend truly. In the staff is wonderful. Mediterranean food.

Take out order review We have not been to the restaurant and this review is solely based on the take out order. We ordered the family player, a rotisserie chicken, baba ganush and a personal sized dessert. The chicken is very tender and the platter was great. It felt like everything was well packaged and nicely put together. However, we have ordered other Mediterranean food from other smaller restaurant and I felt the dinner from Holy Land was lack of rich flavor. I wish they are just a bit more flavorful given how well know the restaurant is. Although I am not disappointed by the order I might just had high hopes.

We have been to Holy Land multiple times when traveling because we absolutely have to stop. The food, the service; just everything is amazing. We went back this time right before Ramadan and they were getting ready but fully prepared to serve all. They even had the Dubai chocolate so we were excited! The food is always amazing and the portions are massive! The service is absolutely perfect. This is what all restaurants should strive for.

I've been going to Holy Land for so long that I've witnessed all the amazing changes it's been throughout the years. It used to just be a small Middle Eastern restaurant, so small there was an upstairs to sit and eat, which is no longer needed. This small restaurant grew to a large restaurant, a catering company, and a grocery store with tons of specialty items. Holy Land offers your general staples of any Middle Eastern household from spices, breads, sweets, halal meats, dairy products, frozen foods, fresh produce, and so much more! It can be a little pricey but as mentioned it offers many specialty items. The restaurant has a decent Middle Eastern menu that will make people from the East and the West happy. The prices are okay, there is tons of variety, the food comes out quick, and tastes good. You can dine-in or take it to-go. Both areas of Holy Land have staff that are available to help you find what you need or answer questions about products or menu items. Overall, Holy Land is a Twin Cities gem. If you're in the area be sure to stop by, you will not be disappointed.

If you're looking for a fresh quick bite, this is your place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and atmosphere aren't anything to write home about[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but the food was hot, fresh, & delicious! The Vegetable Samosas were warm & spicy while the Gyro Salad was chilling & flavorful. I would order both again in a heartbeat! The chickpeas on the Gyro Salad was a fun addition I've never had in a Greek salad. The pita tasted a little stale, but it's not the star of the show so I let it slide. We were gifted the Honey Cake by the staff setting two pieces down on our table after our food came which was a sweet surprise! We also tried the Nutella dessert and it was a crispy, delicious way to end the meal.

    19. Lamb Kebob
    Genesis M.

I don't think I've ever eating at the restaurant yet but it's in my list. I've done Uber eats from this place and have gotten the lamb kabobs with rice and a side of hummus with salad and bread. Honestly you can easily split on of these dishes between 2 people because the portions are so big it's so worth it. The hummus is delicious I could eat a bucket. I definitely want to check them out in person and do some shopping as well in the grocery store.

We ordered several appetizers. The falafel was really good so crispy. The hummus and cheese samosas were also good. The baklava was a bit dry. Service was good at the register. They brought the food out as it was ready and they were pretty quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a steady stream of customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a big table for takeout orders. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seems like an older place and the seating is nothing special but it's clean and fairly spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Well, here is a good place for everyone.giod food and the service is noticed as soon as you walk thru the doors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very inviting and nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had and variety of vegetarian dishes that were wonderfully prepared. I enjoyed everything and will be coming back for the freshly goodness. If you haven't stop by one of the three locations make sure too.

I attended solo but luckily really liked the group I was assigned to. We wanted everyone to work on things they enjoy and allowed everyone to try some parts of the important tasks (making pasta and pastry dough). Your enjoyment might really depend on what your group is like. You can buy wine and beer to drink while you take the class, and those were reasonably priced I thought! $9 for a glass of wine and I think $8 for beer. The class was chaotic since we were making three courses and things needed to be done at different times, but the chaos felt like how it really is in a kitchen making multi course menus, so that didn't bother me! The assistants were great and helped us stay on track and helped if we were struggling with anything. I can't say I learned much from the class (which is why I only gave 4 stars), but I sure had a lot of fun!

This place was practically across the street, so we decided to take a breather from the hectic festivites and come here. Immediately we were greeted with cooling A/C and much-needed silence. Cool and quiet... the perfect escape. The place was decked out for pride with lots of colorful flags representing many of the wonderful ways to be queer. Definitely get bonus points for their allyship. I got a bottled Coca-Cola and my hubbie got a simple cup of brewed coffee. They had a reasonably-sized menu with even some smoothies and such listed, as well as a display of bakery items. A chalkboard showed their three seasonal beverages, which looked fun (though not my cup of tea). One of the employees was very helpful when I requested a cup of ice to go with my Coke; I needed the extra cool down after all the time we'd spent in the sun in the heat! We sat at one of the tables and appreciated leaning back into the chairs with back support for several minutes. Whew! Perked us back up nicely. There isn't a ton of space/lots of places to sit and I was kind of shocked the place wasn't flooded with queers, lol. There was quite the line for the bathroom though, according to my husband. The decor is nice and neat. I think I spotted a small selection of board games you could break out if desired too, which is fun.
