I've been seeing her for my Brazilian waxes, and somehow she manages to make an experience that involves hot wax and pain feel like catching up with a friend. The entire appointment flies by because we're busy talking about life, relationships, and whatever random chaos I've gotten myself into that week. What really sets her apart is how thorough she is. She doesn't just slap on some wax and call it a day. She takes her time, gets every nook and cranny, and will even break out the tweezers for those stubborn little hairs that refuse to cooperate. The attention to detail is unmatched. She's also taught me so much about preventing ingrown hairs, which has been a total game changer. I leave every appointment smoother and more educated than when I walked in. Most importantly, I've never felt awkward with her. At this point, I feel more comfortable talking to Desiree than I do at some doctor's appointments. I called to make an appointment and on the answering machine it said that I was able to text the phone number with any questions or to schedule an appointment. so I was able to make an appointment the next day via text, no problem. My appointment was at 11:30 today and I was seen by Brie,I told her my situation about how my dermatologist recommended I wax instead of shave due to skin irritation. Brie was so understanding, and professional the entire time! she engaged in pleasant conversation which really helped distract me for the minor discomfort i felt from the waxing process. She made me feel very comfortable, especially given the circumstance lol It really is not as painful and people make it out to be. I would say it was more uncomfortable then painful. The waxing process probably took about 20 min., if that. i am so happy with the result, i ended up making another appointment for next month! I think her intent was good, helping with knots etc. but she lacks understanding of the human body. The way she just pour cold oil on me from the bottle and worked so hard. It was like she was aggressively cleaning a dead fish. I wish I could give them a better review but I honestly do feel a little traumatized from this experience
