Came here on a busy Saturday night and was very pleased with the online checkin process. We were shopping at the outlets and knew getting in anywhere at 630 on a Saturday evening would be hard, but being able to join the waitlist online was a blessing! When we arrived I let the hostess know we were there and they said 10-15 min. And only waited 5. We did have to wait a while to get our drink order taken and our check but I understand with Covid everything is a little slowed down. My mom got the ribeye & it was great! Tried this restaurant out for a group. The atmosphere was great, accomadated 2 tables of 20. They prepared well for our large group. Got food out at a good pace. The wait staff was excellent. But the food was disappointing. It was bland and a number of people from my group agreed. I had the smaller steak. Needed the A-1 sauce, really bland. The artichoke dip was bland. The choice of cheeses they use was not good. I guess they used cheddar maybe, or American. Did not work. One person did like the Salmon. But the pasta dishes were bland too. The Mississippi mud pie was a major let down. I expected a deeper chocolate taste coming from the crumb crust. I hope there is an improvement on the food. Everything else was great. read more

On Dolly Parton Parkway do not on the main drag; however, I think this is a plus. You can go on there website and add your name to the waitlist prior to arrival. We had an excellent supper. Pimento cheese appetizer was well received. It needed to have heated more throughly as the middle did not melt. Hawaiian steak was a hit. Perfectly presented the steak was tender and deliciously seasoned . Salmon was equally as delightful. Chopped steak and mashed potatoes were just like mama made. Creamed spinach comes highly recommended. Salads came cold and crisp and were bountifully served. Stout sweet tea washed it all down too. Service was prompt and efficient with a smile. This was the best place we ate at in Pigeon Forge. Mom had chicken tenders and sweet potato waffle fries. She said the tenders were great and the fries were the best she had ever had. Ok so this was almost a one star but, a good manager made it right. Right from the beginning the waitress seemed very new or very frazzled. I watched her enter our order and that took her probably 10 minutes. She never put in our appetizer order so it ended up coming out with the meal and ice cold. My steak did not come with the sides i ordered so, i asked for the manager. He came over and saved the day. He made everything right, sincerely apologizing. He offered to bring out a fresh appetizer which we declined so he gave us a desert instead. Our meals were very good and well prepared. The desert, orange soak cake was amazing. Reviews were nice, so thought we would give them try. And so glad we did. Place was packed, but got seated immediately. Was prom night so it was dinner AND a show! Husband and I ordered sirloin, rare and it was perfect. Only hiccup was hubby ordered his au poivre, and that was missed. But they wisked it away and brought him out a fresh one, with a delicious sauce. Even the side of Spinach Marie was scrumptious. Seated promptly and was served by Kimberly who was very helpful with local suggestions. Food was hot and delicious. My husband had the ribs and I had country fried chicken. No dessert for us. Underwhelming service and food. Went on Sunday 5/29 at 6:45. Called ahead for seating and we still waited 15-20 minutes for our table. We ordered two appetizers to start. The first app came out in good time. The waiter apologized and said the second app would be out shortly. We waited another 30 minutes and our order arrived. Still no second appetizer. Our daughter could see the table behind us and saw the kitchen take the app we ordered to them. They look confused. While eating our main course, the kitchen brought an identical order to our table, saw we already had our meal and turned around back to the kitchen. We never received the appetizer we ordered and were offered no comp or discount on our meal. Smoke bacon bisque and wedge salad were very salty. We ate for the first time this evening at Holston's. The menu offers something for just about anyone. We had a really great waitress named Ali. She was such a great young lady who knows how to wait on her customers. She checked on us frequently and got our orders correct but also was mature and great to interact with during the meal. My husband and I ordered steaks, they were prepared correctly and were delicious. I am always unsure when ordering a baked potato.....cannot stand a lukewarm potato! This one was delicious and very hot! Our salads were fresh and the salad dressings tasted homemade! Be sure and try this restaurant when in the Sevierville area. Ali told us another great bit of news. The Greenbrier Inn in Gatlinburg has been purchased by this same group. It is a really old favorite of ours that really needed a facelift and sounds like it has gotten it. Try them both when in East TN. read more
