First time taking my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 here. First impression was great. Reception took approx 10 minutes from arrival to check-in. Check-in took about 5 minutes and I utilized the courtesy shuttle. I left the truck for about 7 hours. Communication was clear and timely. I received text messages that included inspection reports and a walk around video. I get there and there's no loaner cars available. They call Hertz, they have no loaner cars. They find this out as i'm waiting in the waiting room and they don't come tell me. I have been to the service department more than I would like to admit to for my 2021 CT-5 (purchased new in 2022 from this dealer). It is always the same "no we do not have any of our loaners currently available, but we can get you into Hertz vehicle." 3 weeks later now and the electric water pump is still on backorder, with no ETA. So I say to my rep Steve, via text message of course, that this Hertz car stinks and I would love to be switched out to a Cadillac loaner. OMG guess what he said "no we do not have any of our loaners currently available. I can switch get you into another (stinky disgusting) Hertz vehicle." I have been dealing with this for 3 weeks now. I am no princess so I will continue to deal. This is only my most recent interaction with Cadillac. I have plenty of other F'd up experiences. I had an appointment for 9:00am to replace the screen in my ATS . The screen became damage from the heat. I was told it is a common complaint and to bring the car in and they will have a loader ready for me. I called 5:00pm the night before and was assured ,I would have a car ready . When I arrived at 9:am I was told to get a cup of coffee, they had to locate the rental person. I was in the waiting for 30 mins and returned to the service counter ,at that time I was informed they did not have a car for me . When i had ask why they never came into the waiting room to inform me, he stated he was writing orders up all morning. (Not good for the Cadillac line) I came from Pa. over 30 minutes away,a toll and gas. Wasted 2 hours, no i'm sorry, he just walked away from me. Brought my car in 7 times over 6 months for noise when breaks applied. The car was still under warranty, and they claimed to fix things each time. It was always fine for about 3 weeks. The issue always returned though. Then they said I needed new brakes. So, I got new brakes. Noise continued. I brought the car to a private mechanic who replaced the rotors. No noise since. I went in with my wife to pick out a new vehicle. They acted like they were doing us a favor by showing us some new models almost like we were bothering them, they were less than engaging. Ex. I drive a Cadillac and was trading in my current one for a new one. This is the response I received when I asked a question about a new feature on the new vehicle "Well you have a Cadillac, right, so you know it's just like yours only new " Which did not answer my question. Paperwork was ready for my arrival, explained properly, thoroughly and quickly. No bullshit, no gimmick, no trying to rework the deal. Love that I was in and out. Appreciate the straight forward approach. If I needed a vehicle and couldn't acquire it at Chapman, I would absolutely head to Holman. Also want to comment on some of the other reviews that claim bad customer service. The salesman worked to make this deal happen. He also knew that it might not. I have a Saturn and Holman Cadillac is our new service provider. The recall situation has been terrible and I have had three recalls done here. I was told parts were saved for me and then come to find out they were never ordered. That was in the past and I was hoping this last recall would fix my issue of my key being stuck in my ignition when I try to turn off my car. This last recall was done Tuesday, Joe helped me the most even though Jennifer was supposed to be helping me, she was nowhere to be found and I dealt with her very little while I was there. Joe was great. My car came out washed and I thought fixed. Two days later my key sticks in my ignition. I call the service dept receptionist who was aware of my issues, responds only with "Oh thats weird." - This is more than weird, its been a terrible inconvenience I've been dealing with for years that this past year they keep claiming they will fix, and have not. She says Jennifer will call me back to go over my options - its been over an hour and Jennifer has not called back - I called her myself after an hour and I was sent to her voicemail. My family has bought many vehicles from Holman and even back when it was desimone.I took my Cadillac ATS in to have my front wheel swapped.I had 1pm appointment and it took over two hours.Dave the Service writer tried to tell me after the fact that they had to replace the valve stem for 12.95.I said no I'm not paying it was quoted $40 plus tax.All they had to do was use a valve stem puller and swap it over like other dealers have done and they are 15 dollars higher than other dealers but I was in OK with that.Then they take the valve stem price off then I look they tried charging me a 4.95 shop fee.I had many wheels and tires installed and never charged as shop fee.He said it was a fee for use of the machine.Duh sorry dude that's what your paying 40 bucks for.Crooks plain crooks!My family will never go to Holman for cars or Service again.Worst dealer I ever been too. read more

If i could put ZERO stars i would.. my mother bought a car with only 30,000 miles on it a little over a year ago and all of a sudden it would not run properly.. after discussing this with holman they said to bring it in.. the car was there for about 3 days and NOONE was updating us without me asking! John craig in particular would text updates after i asked but refused to talk on the phone.. this guy has the WORST customer service by the way.. the fact that this place went two days without contacting me with updates while i am without a car and in the dark was weird.. when I CALLED THEM to get an update i was told my mothers car was at a dodge dealership being looked at ... i called dodge and they did not have my car.. i then called holman back and JOHN CRAIG gave me the run around and kept saying "my car was being looking at elsewhere" but would not answer me as to where it was...come to find out it is at a private dealership being looked at... whom later quoted us at $1200 to fix the issues which MY MECHANIC fixed for $500... the WHOLE time i explained to this John Craig that "i just want updates, all you keep saying for 4 days is that they are diagnosing codes" .. and his response was always "i know this is stressful, i will try and get you in a rental vehicle until we figure it out" ... THATS NOT MY POINT !!! I explained over and over again it should not take 4 days to diagnose codes...just give me some type of update.. it has NOTHING to do with me being without the car... he always repeated "we will get you in a rental car while we are working on it" ... like bro are you a f**king robot?!? I never said anything about that .. i just want a damn honest update on the car but this place seems to have employees that dont know a damn thing about what they are talking about and they damn sure dont listen !! Mislead by salesman at time of purchase 1/2016. I purchased the "Cadillac wheel and tire hazard protection" for $650. I was told, covers everything except normal wear and tear. I have a Cadillac Escalade, 2010. I have 22 inch rims from the factory. I wanted to get the wheels balanced as from the factory to get the weights off the pretty chrome edges. I called Holman. What a sour group of personnel. Couldn't even speak to the maintenance personnel, had to speak to the person who made appointments. She is not aware of mechanical questions. I would not advise going to get anything done by them. Unprofessional. I'm a mechanic, also an aircraft mechanic. I talk technical. I needed an answer before driving 1/2 hour to find out they do not do what I required. I called a chevy dealer near my home and they told me exactly what I wanted and they can do the job. I bought a used vehicle from Hohlman. I was told the vehicle went through their 130 some pint inspection and everything was fine , the vehicle had 40 to 50 percent tread life and the rear rotors were turned with new pads installed. I was also told they would guarantee it would pass inspection in PA...I mentioned on the test drive when I stepped on the brakes their was a lot of vibration but was assured by the salesman the vehicle had passed their 100 and some point inspection and passed it off as the road. Took it to the inspection station, they confirmed new pads on the rear but all 4 rotors needed turned and I had them throw new pads on the front. The rear ones were not turned as I was told. Now the brakes are fixed properly and do not vibrate when stepping on them. I had driven the vehicle less than a thousand miles and I left home for a vacation and noticed at highway speeds the truck was developing a vibration again and I thought a tire was out of balance so I stopped at discount tire in Nashville and asked them to check the balance on the tires and they advised me the tread was separating from the casing due to age and this was a dangerous situation and I had to buy 4 new tires. I told the dealership and my salesman about all this and only wanted to be reimbursed the cost of turning two rotors and the 40% tire life I never got and they would not. I was not asking for any warranty but simply asking for reimbursement of the two turned rotors and the 40% tire life I was told I was getting when I bought the vehicle and unfortunately they would not step up and do the right thing and reimburse me for the turned rotors and the remaining life of the tires I was told I was getting... Make sure if you buy used you get the current condition of the vehicle in writing and a hard copy of their 100 and some odd point "Safety Inspection" I thought since I was dealing with a cadillac dealer I could trust their word but unfortunately that is not the case. If they could not see these two major safety issues then their inspection isn't much of an inspection at all.. Make sure you get hard copies of everything they claim to have done on the vehicle.
