I bought a car from this dealership and experienced so many issues with it after driving off the lot. I came back within the following couple weeks to get the car problems fixed, and I was brushed off with the suggestion to go to AutoZone and buy a couple new parts. Extremely unprofessional. Unfortunately, I went to AutoZone and I still had to return to Maple Shade for persisting issues that were covered under my warranty. Their solution was to put a patch on my tire and send me on my way. One of the people who works there even yelled at me saying, "take your car and leave" when I asked if more could be done for the car. I never raised my voice or got upset with this man, and I was simply trying to handle business as a new car owner. Please learn from my mistake -- do not do business with Fiat of Maple Shade. They are a mess, to put it lightly. I genuinely felt as if they did not care about me as a person or a customer - so much so that they felt the need to yell in order to get me out of their establishment. Can't make this stuff up. Hello, I would like to share my experience with Fiat deadler Maple service. Two days ago I dropped my car in their service center for the second time, because the black plastic protector of engine fell down and was dragging on the ground. Probably when they changed my engine someone forgot to put back the bolt and fix the plastic protector back to the bottom of the car. They fixed the plastic protector on the bottom of the car with a zip tie. Well, it works, but it worked for little bit. The plastic protector fell down on the other side. I would expect that original service of Fiat would fix the problem completely. If they see that half of protector is falling down, I would expect that they put a bolt and fix it appropriately. I find it extremely unprofessional that they fix a falling part by a plastic band. I can do this at home and I do not have to drive to their dealer over one hour away! I gave you my car to completely check and fix. After what money I spent at their service $3,500, I would expect that I do not have to come to their service two times in one week. went to the dealer ship with my fiat because the lot I bought it at had a hard time fixing the purge valve problem that it was sold to me with. also when scheduling my appt I noted my handle was not opening from the outside. when I went there I gave Bruce my warranty information. he informed me diagnostic was $170 and he didn't know if warranty covered it, I asked him to find out and let me know. he took that as, run diagnostic either way. I checked in three times while I waited and he said that he was put on hold with my warranty company and hung up, he would call them back momentarily. when I came back to check again he told me he had just finished up his other task and would call them back. I watched him pick up the phone make the call, and barley wait. the rep told him the diagnostic wasn't covered, nor either door knob or purge valve. he hung up the phon and told me that information which was great, then listed off a price for my valve and my handle and diagnostics. I said alright, that's going to have to wait, because I don't have it rn. he then told me diagnostics had been ran already and they would not release me car to me without the payment. the poor sales rep I worked with had to mediate between me and the guy because I clearly was not accepting them to keep my car. then when they returned my car, my door panel was in the back set. this dealership! sold my parents an alpha romero stelvio 2019 with 30k miles on it and a "full warranty" . the first week my mom noticed a scratch at the car wash that they covered up an accident on the car and had it repainted. Then in 6 months the car engine wouldnt start and the lights decided to start blinking for hours during a storm, engine wouldnt start, trunk flew open repeatedly. We have them tow it to dealer. The dealer says we need new breaks rotors etc . That they sold us the car with 45% front breaks (which they didnt tell us when they sold it to my parents) And now within 6 months the car is down to 1% front breaks. They made us pay $1300 to fix the problem I called and spoke with the sales manger joe and service manager and they both refused to do anything- only proceeeded to continue the slick car salesman talk. I had a totally opposite experience than other customers. I'm from Pennsylvania and was driving my Fiat Abarth through New Jersey. During my trip, I had mechanical difficulties and decided to pull off the road to the closest Fiat dealership. It was Saturday and it was the Maple Shade Fiat Dealership. After having no choice in choosing this place, while waiting in the waiting room, I decided to torment myself and read Yelp! Reviews on the place. After reading, I wanted to hire a tow truck to move it to the next nearest dealership ha ha! Since I was dead inside from my experience, I decided to gamble with the situation fate has dealt me. First, everyone at the desk and cashier were as pleasant as can be. 2nd- they diagnosed and fixed my car in one day. 3rd- totally trust-worthy. My shifter stopped working as I was driving. I feared the worst. The repair ended up = 90- something dollars (which my warranty paid for). 4th- they washed the outside of my car with little fanfare. 5th- they fixed the time on my clock (never changed since daylight saving time). I highly recommend this dealership. Everyone went above and beyond! I'm from Pa, but will probably travel to Maple Shade when my car needs service. Not thrilled with dealerships near me (Reedman's Langhorne and Montgomeryville) DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THIS DEALERSHIP (FOR AUTO SERVICE). This is for their COLLISION CENTER. My car was rear ended two weeks ago and my insurance said this location was covered in my policy. My mud flap was pushed into my tire so I was too afraid to drive it anymore than 10 minutes. I drove it to Fiat and dropped it off. The next day my adjuster checked out the damage and I agreed to have repairs started. It took them a week to fix. I was out of the country until yesterday and they were able to hold my car there for me. I picked it up today and it looks as good as new. I drove off the lot and saw alert symbols on my dashboard so I returned just to make sure everything is ok. I didn't get his name but he sat with me in my car to show me why I saw those symbols BEFORE my engine turned on. My car was ok but I wanted to play it safe. WORST dealership ever !! They are king of bait and switch ! They had advertised a 2014 Kia Soul for 11,990. I verified the price with the manager. They said yes that was the price, so I made an appointment. I got to the dealership and asked the sales woman before I got in the car if the price was 11,990. She replied yes ! I drove the car. She went to get a price sheet for the car. When she came back the listed price was 16,990! I stood up to leave and she asked what was wrong I said that I can't afford this car this was not the listed price and I was leaving. The manager came over to me and tries to tell me that they dropped the price 2000 from 18990! I was appalled ! I could have bought a new Kia Soul for that price. Bought a car last spring from Fiat Maple Shade and had the worst experience at a car dealership I've ever had. They were very nice and helpful when it came to the test drive and going through with the purchase. After buying the car the dealership kept it over night to clean the car. When picking it up the next day I found two huge, long scratches on the passenger side of the car that were not there the night before. When I went to talk to them in order for them to fix the scratches and take responsibility they refused to take responsibility and therefore I had to fund the fixes on the car I had bought literally 24 hours previously. I was in from out of town (1 1/2 away) when my driver's seat got stuck in the far position, making it unsafe and very uncomfortable for me to drive. I am petite and I put the seat all the way back if I have a couple of things to do before getting out of my car, but drive with my seat in the most forward position. I called to have service fix it. They got me in at one, looked at it immediately, told me they would need around 1 1/2 hours to fix it. I had to call my new boss of 2 days to pick me up, which was embarrassing. I was sitting on the window ledge so I could see my boss's car arrive and go immediately. Several people came up to me to ask if I wanted to sit in the chairs so I would be more comfortable. I explained my situation. A really nice salesman brought me an ice cold water. The petite blonde lady from the cashier's office kept checking in on me from the time I arrived until I left. I noticed that she was on top of everything, a definite problem solver and highly motived, friendly and professional lady. I asked for the manager and told him what a wonderful, kind, productive staff he has. Then the mechanic comes in and tells me he found the problem and can have the seat fixed while I wait and that I can call my boss and tell her she can head back, that I won't need a ride after all. I actually hugged him! I chatted with the manager until my car was ready. I asked about certain Fiat and Alpha Romeo models. He was informative and had some great ideas when I expressed a concern or objection. Friendly, easy going approach, which is exactly what I am comfortable with. If I buy another Fiat or buy an Alfa Romeo, I am making the trek to Fiat of Maple Shade because of the amazing efforts, kindness, friendliness and store culture. This place is a disgrace of a car dealership. Stay away!!! My husband and I had a terrible experience leasing an Alfa Romeo from this dealership. The employees are unprofessional, disorganized and manipulative. They communicate like children. High pressure sales tactics, insulting attitudes, over-"shopped" me for financing, had no respect for my personal information and sold the car I wanted to buy. Edit: I've been told by the GM that the sales staff has been completely changed out at this dealership. I have since had one other interaction with this dealer, but it was their service department-- I brought my car in to have a look at a check engine light, I brought it in on a Monday, by Thursday I called and no one had looked at my car yet. I told them to give me the keys and I took it to the Fiat in Montgomeryville-- who were SPECTACULAR. Had my work done in a day. I set an appointment to meet with their sales manager, who briefly spoke to me before handing me off to one of the other salesmen, whose name I won't use, but he's the first desk on the left from the front door! We took the 2013 Abarth I wanted for a test drive, everything was in order, the car ran great, looked great and was ready to go. After the test drive, the salesman at the first desk on the left hand-wrote on a piece of paper: I will buy this car, if the price is to my liking. x___________. He actually wanted me to sign a handwritten contract on a piece of scrap paper. I denied, which seemed to be a personal insult to him, but we moved along. We began to talk about pricing, trade-in and financing. He offered me an insulting $100 for a 2004 Mazda 3 with 100k miles for the trade in. I told him how bad that offer was, but for some reason he thought I actually wanted to that accept it. Then I watched the salesman at the first desk on the left throw out my application, in trash. My application with my name, birthday, social security number, address, work information, home phone number, cell phone number and work number. I had to actually tell him that I wanted my information shredded. I work at an insurance agency, and we shred anything with as little as a customer name on it. So when the first round of financing came (which took over an hour to get back, while I sat at his desk waiting) it had me accepting the $100 for the trade in. I told him absolutely not and to fix the paperwork. We waited probably another half an hour before that was fixed as well. What I didn't realize was in this time, they were trying to find financing for me EVERYWHERE. This was over a month ago and I am STILL receiving letters in the mail from banks, and this "overshopping" of me made it very difficult for me to find financing a week later at a MUCH better dealer (Chapman Ford in Horsham! I highly recommend, but my new Fiat was a random trade in.) So after a very long time with the salesman at the first desk on the left, I decided I would buy the car, but I couldn't get it insured that night, and I didn't want to buy the car and leave it uninsured at the dealer for the night, they didn't want that either. I left, planning on returning the next morning and buying the car and insuring it and leaving. When I got home, I noticed they had a picture of another guy standing in front of my car and a post congratulating him on his purchase! I texted the salesman at the first desk on the left the next morning asking if that was the car I was coming in to buy, and he confirmed. Now, I KNOW THIS PART WAS ENTIRELY MY FAULT. One of them let us take a car they were obviously desperate to sell over. My car had a recall, I get the transmission REPLACED because they said I was eligible for a new engine, and with all the problems it was mostly guaranteed, we drive the miles the engine light goes on they say it's the something with the oil pump and they we needed to drive more we take it back with the light still on they say it's NOT eligible for the recall and told me I needed to make an appointment for the engine light!!! THE SECOND WORST customer service experience I've ever had! (The first was Verizon FiOS) My Fiat 500L Trekking has a major issue going on with the steering column. I took it in for repair (this after taking it twice to have it "looked at" before they would schedule a repair), which was to take 30 minutes. After 2.5 hours, my car was released back to me. I drove my car .3 miles and my steering completely went out for 1-3 seconds. When it returned, my steering wheel was at a 7/1 o'clock position in order to drive a straight line. I immediately took it back to the dealership where they kept it for another hour and a half. Supposedly if was fixed. I drove it less than three miles when the original knocking and pounding started happening under the driver's floor board again. I called the dealership and made arrangements for my car to be brought in the follow Wednesday for repair and I would be provided a "loaner car". I arrived that morning at 8am, only to have Viana, the service manager say, "Yep, it needs fixed. Bring it in next Wednesday..." WTF was the point of me coming in today if it was not going to be repaired for the KNOWN issue it was having??? Fast forward a week later and I'm at the dealership again at 8am. After waiting about 15 minutes for my loaner car, I was told that none was available and it would be until 930am before they could arrange to have one. I was driven to my home by the dealership where Enterprize was to bring a loaner car to my house by 930am. At 11am, I called to find out what the delay is and was told no cars are available in this area today. I called back to the dealership where I have been tossed back and forth between Viana and Mike who are trying to find a car for me to have for the day. At 1130, I am told they have one for me to pick up, they will send someone to my house where I will be driven to the rental place. Are you serious??? As if it's not bad enough that I've lost four hours of my day off with no car, now I have to pick up the car??? It's not bad enough that my car is in for the same repair for the third time and that I've lost two days off because of this issue, but it's made even worse by the poor handling and lack of planning by the dealership who claimed they would secure a loaner car for me in order that I could prevent another lost day. It's no wonder you never see the same face in the service department for more than a few months. This dealership is horrible! Next time I write a review of Fiat of Maple Shade, I'll tell you about the dealer who took me on a test drive only to tell me he "prefers Ford" and "If I had a Ford to sell you, I'd sell you that before I'd sell you this car!" We are out-of-towners in the area on a long term work assignment and were in need of another vehicle. We searched their website and found a decent vehicle at a good price and bought a 2006 Honda Accord. We asked to transfer our out of state plate, but they insisted that they would "take care of everything" (for the $500) fee and put the standard 20-day out of state resident plates on the car. After driving to the dealership on day 17 we asked what the status was on the plates, and their response was "We lost your paperwork, so it will be another 20-days". Okay, fine, but what about the plates? They told us not to worry. They told us, "you'll have your plates, someone will drive out of state to get the plates, someone will get fired, or we will give you another car with dealer tags." on Days 19-20 and after numerous phone calls to both, the Salesman & Sales Manager that were never returned we drove back to the dealership on Monday after the 20 days expired. So no-one got fired, we have no plates, and the dealer's car they gave us was a clown car.....a Toyota Yaris......not quite a Honda Accord........ I wish that I could give this business negative stars. Before I signed the last version of my lease (I had to sign THREE because the finance manager couldn't get the right forms over the course of three weeks), they had NO problem calling me multiple times per day to ask me to come in. However, after the last lease was signed (which I never even got to sign or review because they allowed someone to sign for me, which I never agreed to), I called with a few questions. It took a week of phone calls, voicemails, messages, emails and finally a threat to call the BBB before someone finally called me back. NO ONE at the dealership would contact me, because, I assume, they already had what they thought was a final contract, so they had no use for me anymore. When I finally did get a call back and asked questions about each line, I was told about the ways they "hid" charges from the bank in the contract. The manager told me that "if he could unring that bell, he would" but still claims there's nothing he can do. When I also pointed out that I wasn't there to sign, he told me it was hearsay, even though I told him that his cameras from the day would show that I wasn't there, and I have cameras from 250 miles away and 50 people who can vouch for my presence at work. When the manager called me back and basically refused to do anything (but said that he was "doing the courtesy of talking to [me]"), he told me that his boss would call me. It's now been three business days, and I've heard nothing. I would advise you to stay FAR away from this dealership. Everyone there that I have met has been dismissive and rude. (The manager who called me back told me that Claudia, for whom I had left multiple messages, said she had talked to me, so I have no idea who's lying.) They're VERY nice while they're working with you to get you a "deal" but it's apparently to smile and distract you while they're plugging in numbers on your contract and asking you to sign. If you insist on getting a car there, I would have a lawyer review the contract, and don't expect them to return calls or answer any questions after the sale is "finished." Also, the business manager called me "young lady," so brace yourself for that. read more

Last evening I had the opportunity to purchase the Fiat Abarth. My salesperson was Lou and Mike (in training). The sales experience was fantastic. They were very patient with all of my questions about the cars, options, and package. It was easy and I would purchase from him again. Unfortunately, the finance experience was less positive and I would definitely suggest bringing snacks. The time to sign papers was 4 hours. There was only one finance person and this person could have been significantly more efficient. All told, I would purchase another car from this at this time. I came here to check out the Alfa Romeo Giulia, I realized the car did not make sense for me due to the options and the price even after some negotiating. I came to the dealership as a drive-by I have made no prior contact with them. I told them that I was not interested in the vehicle. Several minutes after I left I got a call from one of the managers, Mike? as well as a text saying that I missed my appointment and asked to call back to reschedule. This all occurred Saturday morning. Fast forward to today, Monday - I get another Text from another number asking if there is anything else they can do to get my business. When did it become appropriate to conduct business via text? Also these people seem so clueless to contact me about a missed appointment which was never scheduled, how can they be trusted to handle a more complicated sales transaction and servicing vehicles? My husband and I went to this dealership because it's time to buy my new car. First let me paint a picture for you. Today It is raining outside and it's around 4pm on a Thursday and their is one other customer in the establishment that is talking to a salesman. Upon entering the dealership, no one greeted us and we looked around by ourselves. They did not have the car i was interested in inside, so we went outside to locate it. I saw at least 2 salesman, 1 saleswoman and the desk attendant. I'm not sure if he was a salesman, but none of which was with a customer or on the phone. Again, no one approached us or asked if we needed assistance while exiting the building. So after not being able to locate the vehicle ourselves outside we went back inside, again no one approached or greeted us, or asked if needed assistance, so I approached the desk and asked for help. A salesman then took us outside for the car I wanted to see and he could not locate it. After wandering around for 10 minutes, we asked to see a similiar model. We finally asked to see a vehicle that we thought was similar and he said, we had to wait until he located the keys. Really, we have been wandering around in the rain for 10 minutes and you have no keys or access to vehicles on hand? At this point we declined his insufficient effort and left. Not sure if I can agree with most of these reviews because my experience was completely different. My experience with this dealership was good and therefore I thought I should contribute my experience. However, of course many dissatisfied customers come here to vent and give bad reviews and so I noticed that is a trend with most car dealerships as well. After all, nobody with a good When I arrived at the Maple Shade Fiat, I was greeted promptly and my dealer seemed very good natured. I am actually pretty anal about interpersonal communication and customer service, so trust me when I say they have good customer service. It is possible that experiences for other customers can be a case by case situation because obviously there are multiple dealers and everyone has a different personality. Yet at the same time everyone in the lot seemed genuinely nice compared to other dealerships I have purchased other vehicles from in the past. Maybe they have new staff? No idea, but my experience was good, and that is all I care about. I ultimately bought a 500L and the dealer was very patient with the questions I had, and was knowledgable of the details of the vehicle. If you live in the Philadelphia area you will safe time and hassle if you visit the other options in the area such as Wilmington or Downingtown. It might be a 20-30 minute further drive, but it will save you from so much nonsense. Only go to maple shade for pure entertainment to see this caricature of a dishonest and manipulative dealership. The guys explain everything, and they always check with me before doing anything-- and they quote prices before doing the work, too. I'd like to start with the fact that I love the car. This review has nothing to do with the Fiat itself. My review is more about deception. I went in after seeing an "Internet Price" of $12995 for a certified pre-owned 2014 Fiat 500L. I thought the price was too good to pass up, especially on a car that i love and new that I wouldn't be able to afford new. I had been pre-approved with my credit union for enough money if I put a little down, which i was willing to do, at a great interest rate. Of course this meant that I wouldn't have been able to pick the car up or sign until the next day since I went at night, but I was fine with that. I was willing to put a deposit down. My salesman was a nice young kid, but I know how the car business works--it all goes through the sales manager and they always want you to sign THAT night. I test drove the car, said "i'll take it" when I got notice that the car actually was over $15,000, not the advertised $12995 because it came with a certification and warranty and whatever else. I should have thrown a fit and walked out, but I really did love the car, and thought that honestly the internet price was really low for the vehicle anyway. Then they said "If we can get you an interest rate close to what your credit union had, would you be willing to go with our financing?" I said sure because I didn't really care who I financed through. Well I signed everything real quick, which I admit was on me but the payments were where I was looking for, for 75 months, when they said it would be 72 months, and the interest rate that was supposed to be similar to my credit union was actual 4.5% higher. I'm hoping that I can refinance through my credit union since they've always been good to me. Again, I love the car. It's exactly what I wanted and the price was reasonable. I just feel like the internet price was a HUGE bait tactic. If you're going to charge $15,000, just say you're going to charge $15,000. You flat out lied on the internet, and that's not cool. Then you lied to me about what kind of interest rate you could get me as well as the length of the contract. I'm hoping that there are no issues when my license plate comes in. read more

Don't be fooled by the high average rating - the most recent reviews have all been terrible, and for good reason. These guys really didn't want to sell me a car and it showed in their sales tactics. As I reached the entrance, I was ambushed by a salesman, Miguel, who must have been watching me the entire way to the door. Funny thing is, I had an appointment and had been told that I was expected. But my supposed salesman Felix wasn't even at work that day and the sales manager, John, had no idea who I was. Not a great first impression. From then on, I was treated like a tire-kicker, with awkward, bored salesmen playing on their phones around me as I gave my information to them (again), but at least they let me test-drive a couple cars. The next part was laughably bad: they tried to have me sign a hand-written piece of paper saying that "if they got to the price I wanted, I would leave in a vehicle today." Seriously? Even though I came with printouts, competing offers, my own financing and extensive research behind the vehicle I wanted, they still didn't think I was a serious buyer? To top it all off, Miguel would leave to "talk things over" with his manager, but just be chatting or playing on his phone not 10 feet behind me. Thanks for the bottle of water, though! It finally reached a breaking point when they refused to give me prices after I asked several times. Another gentleman even laughed out loud when I said I was hungry and wanted to go for dinner - the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced. I left my contact information (for the third time) with them and booked it out of there, not really expecting to hear back. They certainly did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and stay out of this dealership. They may have pretty and exotic Italian cars, but they really, really, really don't want to sell them to anybody. I bought a used car from this dealership. At the time of viewing the car, it seemed to have no damage on it. Sooner than later (after I signed all of the paperwork and took it home), it rained and all of the cosmetic issues were exposed. The car had serious damage on the whole right side of the car and lots of scratches and chips all over. The dealership hid the damage by using cheap touch-up paint. When I went back to the dealership to return the car, the managers were extremely rude and ignoring what I was saying and they walked away. In addition, the dealership charged way more than price as advertised. DON'T GET STUCK IN MY POSITION, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP! read more

5 star Service department and 5 star Sales! I've purchased a Fiat 500 back in 2012 and was ready for a new Fiat! The service department has a whole new set of technicians who really care and are honest and take the time to fix whatever needs it. They go above and beyond the call of duty! Very friendly too! They shouldnt get even 1 Star, seriously this was the worst experience ever. I mean I was planning to buy a brand new car and the Manager who btw should quit his job was absolutly desinterested in giving any Informations at all, the salesassociate had no experience and i asked for someone professional and wanted to talk to the manager, i wasted already 1 hour and saw than from inside out that he was keep smoking in front of the door, like he didnt care at all. End of story i just left and got a new car next door at Holman infiniti and their service was incredible! read more
