My daughter had a mani/pedi. When she finished her nails were a little streaky and needed a third coat and they jumped on it no questions asked. I have used Dazzle Dry in a different salon and loved it. But, at this salon, I wonder if their product is old or if they doctor the final clear coat to make the product last longer. The colored polish went on well but when the top coat was applied there were noticable bubbles forming. When I pointed them out, at first, the tech suggested the bubbles would disappear. Finally, the manager was called over and it was agreed they'd redo the worst ones, about 6 nails. My nails looked a tad better - the larger bubbles were gone but the product still didn't look great. In sunlight, small bubbles were very noticable. But, I decided to not waste any more of my time. Now, only two days have past and the polish is already loosening along the sides of the nail. I have never had this happen with any of my previous Dazzle Dry usage. Overall, I am not impressed with Fiji and won't be using them again, not even for a basic manicure.

When I asked whether the tools had been properly sanitized, I was given only a vague answer, which did not reassure me. As a customer, I believe every client deserves confidence that proper sanitation procedures are being followed. I was also disappointed by what seemed to be inconsistent pricing, as charges appeared to vary depending on the customer rather than being clearly explained. Professionalism, respect, transparency, and cleanliness are essential in any salon. Unfortunately, my experience reflected the opposite. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements so future customers receive the level of service they deserve.

After the pandemic I was very cautious of going to nail salon. Many nail places don't properly disinfect the pedicure tub and the jets , reuse of manicure instruments / nail files and products are put in reused plastic soap containers. Yuk! Most important, I want to relax, not wait in line and not be in a room with 50 people - super loud- people lined up next to you - no privacy. . I drive by my old nail place and can't imagine going back to a place like that no matter how cheap the cost. La Belle is busy with customers but I'm usually have 2 seats between me and the other customer. Relaxing instrumental soft music , no TV and no loud shouting across the room (lol). I walked in and they had an immediate opening. I got Nu (I think this is how you spell her name) to do my nails. She did a pedicure. I really liked how thorough she was. They even do a bit of a hot stone after. I got a really light colored Essie Pink (see attached image). I tried to put it on my foot but it didn't take as well as I would have hoped. Luckily, I was able to tell Nu and she quickly removed my nail polish and found a suitable alternate with no complaints. I ended up getting a manicure. The Essie light pink looked better on the hand vs foot. She did a great job. My polish lasted for more than a week which is a real rarity. The only downside is the driers are pretty far from where they were doing my nails. They do accept Venmo with tip which added to the convenience.

I had high expectations and walking into the salon because this place is rated 4.5 stars but my excitement fell flat when I walked in the door and was approached (not greeted) by a woman asking me if I had an appointment, I said yes. I can't recall if she asked my name but she walked me to a manicure station and started the process to remove the dipping powder. Once my nails were wrapped, she instructed me to sit at another station. Minutes later, another woman completed the process and then cut and shaped my nails. She talked about what she was doing while shaping my nails and was more affable than the first woman I encountered. The atmosphere of the salon is dry and cold and did not feel "spa-like" at all... There was a tv on with closed captioning and the only sound that I remember hearing was chatter, which was a mixture of the technicians speaking amongst themselves and the conversation of some patrons (who I believe were teenaged girls). If I could, I would have rated this place 3.5 stars: 3 stars because I received the service that I wanted and they were able to accommodate me with short notice. The .5 is for the hospitable nature of the second woman who I encountered... I don't see myself returning.
