I absolutely will not be coming back. They have had to fix my nails too many times and it's not due to anything. I'm doing the polish peels off the gel just disintegrates my nails look horrible and it's not even been two weeks. on top of me, watching your receptionist answer the phone and then immediately hanging it up on who ever is calling the whole time I sat there the phone would ring she would pick it up. I would've loved to make this the place to treat myself and my daughter monthly but sadly I will have to find somewhere else. I haven't had my nails done in over 15yrs so I hoped things had changed but after spending over $200 for my Daughter and I on dip and pedis I expected so much more. I tried to explain I wasn't happy with the chrome not looking like chrome. Like oks more like a high shine and my nails looking lumpy and stubby and just unfinished but they just kept making excuses and didn't even try to speak clearly enough for me to understand. Just callous and dismissive. I'll be sure to take my hard earned money elsewhere next time. *UPDATE* Could not live with myself after learning my daughter wasn't happy with hers either. Plus spending that much and not being satisfied just didn't sit well with me. Called back the following Monday and spoke with the manager. She said to come back with my daughter. I just stopped by to have my powder dipped/acrylic nails removed. After waiting about 25 minutes, the nail person started picking at my nails with what looked like a guitar pick. Ouch! I suggested soaking my nails, so she brought over a small bowl with solution to soak my nails in, while she continued to pick at the other hand. Double ouch! When she finally finished, they were all uneven with sharp ends that truly needed more filing. Very disappointed. Will not go back. Although I was warned by others not to go there, I went because it was convenient. No more. read more

The first time I came in here it was great. Very friendly staff, quick service. The last 3 times(the old 3 strikes and you're out rule) have not been great...today marks the last day I'll go in there. Although they work quick, they are sloppy with their work. "What does that mean?", you may ask. Well, the last few times I've gotten a gel manicure, they have painted over the cuticles, or half the nail is left without paint. In nail world terms, the polish lifts and lasts maybe a week, instead of 2 to 3. Now, I'm not rough on my nails. I even moisturize nightly. The last time I was here(besides today), not only did the nail tech paint so much over my nail that it created a false edge(and almost immediately lifted) but he also clipped my skin(on purpose) with the cuticle cutters to break the seal of the gel top coat he overpainted onto my finger. That then caused an infection. I decided today I would give them one last try, and I'm really regretting it. It started out decent enough...but things declined rapidly. I initially went in with a simple pop art gel nail design. The owner and the nail tech looked at the photos I had and said yes they can definitely do it. Ok, awesome, let's do it! The nail tech RUSHED(they still had another hour until closing). She overpainted and flooded the cuticles, missed parts of nails, her lamp died, she decided instead of fixing the polish she would clip the skin(and not only cause a hang nail, but did EXACTLY what the guy a week and a half ago did). That's when she sent me to the owner(Thai) and his station...with no chair...I was told to just drag the one I was sitting in. Well, Thai(who is usually nice and professional) REEKED of cigarettes(so I'm assuming he's had a rough day). He started to attempt the design and kept cutting my nail in half with the paint. Then he blamed the paint for being "too milky" and that he wouldn't be able to do what I wanted. So, I said the only reason I chose the color I had was for this design, since they said they could do it. He just starts taking the polish off. At this point the shop is closing in 15 minutes. I told him I just won't get the service today because I'm not keeping them late, and I wanted this design(my team is all getting the same for an event this week). He clipped me a few times with the drill, trying to get the polish off. Then he used a scraper tool(which ROUGHS up the nails). I told him thank you and he said I need to pay $15 for a manicure. Well, if my nails weren't STAINED with the color he removed, I didn't have new hang nails, and my nails were smooth and actually manicured(like cuticle oil, moisturizer, massage, etc) that wouldn't be a problem...but I wasn't happy with the lack of service. My mom and I went on a Saturday morning without appointments. They were able to take us. They were very nice and the place seemed clean. I didn't do anything fancy and I only got a basic manicure. The woman who did my nails was very nice and was gentle, no digging. My nail tech was Tea (not sure about the spelling). We went to Publix after and my mom messed up a mail. She went back and he fixed it for her. read more

My wife has gone to the business several times. They did a decent job with acrylic fills, and the pricing is $18 which is okay. Unfortunately, the last time my wife when to get her nails done, one of the nails came off in two days. I called and the guy said to come in and we will fix it. My wife went and the same guy who put the nails on her and the same guy who answered the phone said they would not fix it unless we paid $6. In addition, he was rude to my wife, called me a liar because he said I didn't pay him a tip the last time we got the nails done. Well, $18 plus 3 equals $21 and after he looked up the receipt, it was $21. He didn't apologize and said he wasn't going to fix the nail. He also grabbed my wife after she was trying to take a picture of the public license on the wall. I came close to hitting the guy after he saw I was not going to allow him to go further. They are hiding something about their business and if anyone knows how to report them to the better business bureau to include immigration since they seem to be scared when deportation was mentioned, I recommend they report this business. Lastly, my wife had in the past got a pedicure and several of her nails melted as if they put gel which changed shape, which she had to file smooth. I really enjoyed my mani-pedi this afternoon. It was $55 for the deluxe pedi with mani which is a little more on the expensive side of reasonable, but still reasonable. The salon is clean and nicely organized. The staff was super friendly and Helen, the tech who did my nails, was super sweet. I was the only client in the salon, probably due to the "cold" weather today. It was great and I got to watch an awesome made for TV movie. Seriously, it was afflicting. I think I sub-consciously smudged my pinkie nail so I could run back in and watch more. I'll be back for sure! read more

I got a shellac manicure at Hollywood Nails about four days ago. At first, I was very pleased with my manicure but now my nail polish is chipping on one finger and on my thumb the nail polish is actually PEELING off! The service here was great, everyone was nice but I do not recommend getting a shellac manicure. The only thing that I like about this place is the eyebrow waxing done by Sara! First off the place was empty but I was thinking lucky me I didn't have to wait. Guess that should have been a sign. First and last time getting my nails done at that place. The guy that helped me was super rude I didn't feel comfortable being there . It is not the cleanest nail salon I have been to they also don't have a lot of gel polish colors to choose from . He rushed to finish my nails and didn't paint them very neatly he messed up 3 of my fingers completely it's like bubbles are underneath the nail polish it looks very horrible. Worst service I've ever had! Had a new set of acrylic pink & white over lay done. First he broke my own nail as he forcefully ripped off the old acrylic. I normally don't get tips put on so he said he would put ONE tip on the nail he broke. I asked if he could build on my own nail with acrylic powder and he said "No". I've had this done at other salons but I assume he didn't know how to do it. He ended up cutting all of my nails to match the broken nail then proceeded to file them down so short that they hurt! I have no nail length what so ever now. Once he applied the pink and white acrylic they looked awful and extremely short. I was charged for a full set of pink and white- so I called back today to have him place tips on my nails for length since they look strange with so much white and not enough nail bed. He said he would only apply ONE tip to the one he broke! Not the others he cut down to the nub! I paid $ 45.00 for the worst service! Don't waste your money or time getting your nails done here.
