My step daughter is always game for a trip inside to see what they have in the animal room. Sometimes there's a baby pig, or tiny chicks. They don't mind you petting the little guys. Other than that, idk. Lots of animal feed and other country stuff. I think I must feel in here they way a non-musician feels in Guitar Center. It's all kinda background-ish blah-blah farm items I don't really have a use for in my suburban lifestyle. Still I've been in here a half dozen times to see the animals.

Fast forward to now and after our grooming appointment, we noticed that her nails were not trimmed. We called after a week and was told that yes they should have trimmed the nails but because we called on day 7 and was past the 5 days we would have to pay for the trim now. I originally asked about a walk-in but would make an appointment if necessary. I didn't want my dog to be there all day. Which she never explained a different system, just sounds like they seem to take a ton of dogs in the morning and then just pump them out when you can get them done. I've been to several Petsmart locations in Fort Worth, but this was THE best job that any groomer has ever done. My dog, Bentley is a regular at this PetSmart grooming salon and has been groomed here many times…read morewithout issue. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, he was handled by a new groomer who has never worked on him before and ignored his grooming history along with specified service notes. This groomer gave him a horrendous haircut with shaved ears down to the skin - completely unlike his usual groom and clearly inconsistent with prior grooming notes. While there was no physical injury, the result was distressing, unacceptable, shows a lack of care, and reflects poor training, or supervision. This was not a simple "bad haircut" -- it was negligent grooming. I have documented the condition of my dog and reported this to store management and corporate. I strongly caution other pet parents and hope PetSmart takes accountability and improves oversight of groomers. Photos are 13 days apart Nov. 30th & Dec. 13th. *Awful groom done by BECCA A.*
