I originally asked about a walk-in but would make an appointment if necessary. I didn't want my dog to be there all day. They just tried to say they had a different system, no direct answer for confidence/ or comfortable in making the appt. Which she never explained a different system, just sounds like they seem to take a ton of dogs in the morning and then just pump them out when you can get them done. So that's concerning if I'm going to make an appointment I would like my dog to be done at a certain time.

I took all of the tetras back to the store and told them they were sick, and the girl at the counter goes "oh are these the tetras? Yeah we have them under observation now because we believe they have ich." And I was like .... Are you kidding me? I told her they killed my betta and infected the other one and she goes "oh I'm really sorry about that". I mean, to some they might just be "a fish" but these are my pets and it really hurt me to lose my girl the way that I did. She suffered having her face basically rotting off from columnaris and there was nothing I could do to help her. It killed her so fast. And I just got a "sorry". Does PetSmart not quarantine new fish to make sure they aren't sick before selling them to the public? THEY KILLED MY BETTA WHO WAS THRIVING before I put those tetras in there. I'm so mad at myself for buying fish there. I should have known better.

My dog, Bentley is a regular at this PetSmart grooming salon and has been groomed here many times…read morewithout issue. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, he was handled by a new groomer who has never worked on him before and ignored his grooming history along with specified service notes. This groomer gave him a horrendous haircut with shaved ears down to the skin - completely unlike his usual groom and clearly inconsistent with prior grooming notes. While there was no physical injury, the result was distressing, unacceptable, shows a lack of care, and reflects poor training, or supervision. This was not a simple "bad haircut" -- it was negligent grooming. I have documented the condition of my dog and reported this to store management and corporate. I strongly caution other pet parents and hope PetSmart takes accountability and improves oversight of groomers. Photos are 13 days apart Nov. 30th & Dec. 13th. *Awful groom done by BECCA A.*
