We absolutely adore Hollywood Feed! The prices are fab and they sell the best quality products for our 6 month old ECGR. We purchase the Fromm large puppy breed dog food along with the The Honest Kitchen Bone Broth POUR OVERS - Turkey & Salmon Stew to ensure she is receiving enough taurine. This was recommended by a staff member who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Another staff member seemed to not have a clue when we asked about a harness and leash in one for our pup. I think that you should show a true passion, knowledge and interest in animals to work in a store like this. We personally selected the Harness Lead Dog Leash & Harness in pink and it has really helped with our pup's pulling. So pleased! read more

My doggie and I LOVE coming here!... well, she probably does more than I do. She gets so excited as soon as I park the car and she realizes where we're going. There's so much to sniff and explore throughout every inch of the place. The staff is always very friendly and my dog loves the attention. They offer her a treat every time she comes in. Usually she's too shy to eat it in front of others and we end up saving it for when we get home, but there's been several times when she was offered a treat she couldn't resist... and of course, I end up buying it. But that's what we come in for anyway. TREATS! They have a nice selection of treats that she can pick out at the front of the store, which we prefer over the packaged ones in the aisles (though, the selection in the aisles are way better than what other stores offer). I always feel like the quality of food and treats here are healthier for my doggie, so I don't mind letting her pick out everything she wants every time we visit. read more

We regularly order from Hollywood Feed and have enjoyed good customer service, timely deliveries, and friendly staff. We ordered some crinkly toys for our new pup. Ed the Manager from the West Ashley (29407) store called to let us know that those toys were out of stock - and then to walk through all of the toy options to find ones that were suitable replacements! He knocked it out of the park - these toys are even better than the ones we'd selected, and he included a bonus one with a handwritten note. A hidden gem in plain sight. A pet store that carries top of the line products for pets. They have quality food, treats and all natural, fresh, frozen and freeze-dried food for dogs and cats. I purchased multiple made in the USA treats along with frozen marrow bones and a carton of goats milk for the dogs. The products were reasonably priced and not found in traditional pet stores. Talk about service! My fiancé and I went in to look for a new food for our youngest dog. We just got his allergy test results in and it turns out he's allergic to half of the planet...needless to say, searching for a food has been exhausting. Thankfully, on 6/26, when we went in and explained our situation, the entire team pitched in and started reading the ingredient panels with us on almost every flavor of dog food. We never asked them to do that. They just took the initiative and helped. They cared that much for our baby and that felt amazing. Finally, after who knows how long we searched, we found a bag of food that seems to have the right ingredients. I have never experienced that level of guest service. Hollywood Feed on Savannah Highway in West Ashley is a great place to find all things for pet needs. They have really good and quality food for pets that pets really like an enjoy. I really like the selection of different types of food and items that they have available on display. They are able to get a lot of different items in their store for the space they have available and still have space to walk and move around. They staff here is very helpful and attentive and seems to be available when you need them and also knowledgeable about pet topics. I had a really good shopping experience here and look forward to being able to come back here again in the future and shop for more items for pets. read more

This place is my go to pet store in the area. It may be small, but it's packed full with awesome, quality products and super helpful staff. Hollywood Feed clearly tries to make you feel instantly welcome- and they succeed! Typically, the person behind the counter greets you instantly and summons a salesperson from somewhere in the store. They run you through the specials for the month, which are usually pretty awesome. Recently, they had a sweet deal on Serresto collars! There's usually a specific toy, snack, or food on special. I try to grab something new every time I visit! They have a massive wall of toys that are priced similarly to the big box stores but SO much better quality. One of my pups has a Hollywood Feed squeaky tennis ball that she has somehow not destroyed despite actively trying! The collars are really cute and, again, reasonably priced. My girls need martingale collars, which there is usually limited choices of. While they don't have a ton of them, they did have some nice patterns that I grabbed for them. I currently get their food from Chewy because it's not sold in their store. They do have a lot of specialty food which is worth a look. The beds are pricey but incredibly nice and made in the US. Can't recommend them more- from the service to the product mix, I love coming here. Obviously the store is very doggo friendly too! read more

Love this store! It's one of the only stores I've seen in town that sells Victor dog food. They have a large selection of Victor and it's cheaper than you can find anywhere else and online. Wide variety of whatever you're pet needs. Friendly knowledgeable staff! And unbeatable prices. Having 2 beautiful fur babies that I consider to be a part of my bloodline (and most likely better behaved than most human children), I always look for the next best pet store or adventure and when Hollywood Feed open we quickly gave it a look over. It's one of the best pet stores in the area for new training tools, toys, bones and treats as well as the more higher end pet foods you won't see at your normal Petcos. Obviously, as a higher end pet store some of the things may be a little more pricer, but they always have some good sales/deals. I must say I am a critic when it comes to pet stores because as you should know my pup, Piggy is the most precious being on the planet so she deserves the best of everything. When Hollywood Feed opened outside of Whole Foods it took me awhile to actually go inside. I'm very particular about the food I buy for my dog and the treats I get her too. We were heading to Whole Foods one night and decided to check it out since we were in desperate need of dog food but only one store (before this one) sold it or we would have to order online. Fortunately they had our dog food and a large selection of the different flavors of our dog food (Fromm). They have healthy treats and foods for every type of dog even if they have allergies! Don't forget to bring your pup in with you so they can get a special treat! The workers were so friendly, I can't wait to return with Piggy except I'm going to have to make sure she doesn't try out all the toys! read more
