We also did the puppy training program and they were very accommodating with our dog and his behavioral issues! I also have a small child and it's hard for me to go in with her and carry out the big bags dog food so they let me order the food over the phone and pick it up! It makes things so much easier! We were very happy with our trip into Dolitte's on a recent vacation to Charleston. I was surprised that we weren't able to find a little pet shop in the downtown tourist area, so we stopped in on our way back from a plantation tour to pick out a souvenir for our pooch. It was a worthwhile stop as they has a huge selection of toys and the shop owner was very friendly. We ended up picking out a Clydesdale stuffed horse and our pup loves it! read more

I love love loved my experience here! I walked in and asked where the self service dog wash was, and with in a minute the lady behind the counter showed me how to use it, where everything was located, and offered to get more towels, shampoo, etc if I needed it. The products were fabulous, and the water was the perfect temperature. I love that you don't have a time limit since my dog has long hair and it takes forever just to get him wet. Did I mention that the dog wash was super cheap too! Last time I got him groomed it was $80, but instead I could just go to Dolittles and pay a massive $5!! So amazing! After I finished with the dog wash I checked out their great source of food and treats, so many excellent options. My dog chose some turkey sausage and a big bully stick to bring home. My total bill was less than $20 and I was in the store for over 2 hours. Can't recommend these guys enough!! read more

Not to mention the organic free range beef bones that Fido will love. Cat stuff too! The employees are very friendly; Jordan was especially helpful for me, as I had never used the bathing stations before. Love this place and their employees! I have a 4 month old puppy and attend puppy play dates on Saturdays. Rick is great with the pups and encourages tid bit information and encourages training and praising good behavior. Once we've finished the play date we never leave empty handed. Tons of great toys, food/treats, grooming tools and boutique items available for sale at great prices. They also have cat items!! Along with puppy time this place offers training and dog wash. I've driven from North Charleston to this location about 3-4 times now and have absolutly no complaints read more

My boyfriends dog is having a birthday this weekend and you better believe I have a list of everything I want in their birthday section! We're traveling with our dog, staying with friends in Charleston and didn't want to bring our salty dog back to the house. They don't give you an itemized receipt. And the way the woman was fumbling around on the register for 10 minutes, she could have double and triple charged me for all I know. When I went to return a harness and leash two days later still wrapped in the packaging and with my little stub receipt with no information but a total, they gave me a really hard time. Wanted to know the sales ladies name who said I could return it if it didn't work, which I didn't give because the way they were acting seemed like she was going to get fired. I had to fill out a questionnaire on why I was returning it, my address,... Then they would only give me STORE CREDIT!! Their prices are high in there and I had to eat that large loss. Of course I can't remember how much my items were I was returning because...no itemized bill. In this day and age who runs a business like this? I didn't even get proof of my credit, she just said it would be in the computer, which I felt funny about after the way I was treated and I left with no proof of anything. When I went back to spend my $60 credit from a harness and leash on sale, I just got 4 large treats at the register and it was more than my credit!! I almost choked. The was again fumbling with the register for so long the people behind me left. My mom who was with me left to wait in the car. I make an effort to shop locally. I want the best quality food and treats for my pets, but I will take my business elsewhere. read more
