Found this brewery by accident while I was visiting the sandwich shop next-door they let us bring our sandwiches into the brewery and eat while we enjoyed a beer from this tiny brewery cute and clean we'll definitely go back when I visit the sandwich shop again.

I've been to Holler Brewing a small handful of times and it's always a good experience. There's a nice selection of beers to choose from and some board games, etc that you can play.

Folks Good day!! Offer me something unique!! How bout a chile infused Mexican Lager! "Fire in the Hole" Yes please! Probably the best beer I've had this year! It just drank nice - balanced - well thought out and perfectly executed. Beautiful brewery- bar - tables - and patio Bartender very helpful with the suggestion Enjoyed it so much- had to take one to go with me. Thank you Holler! Let Love Lead!

It is a very cute brewery! It has around 50 people's worth of seating and a really nice outdoor seating area with nice outdoor string lights. Inside there are hop shaped neon lights! They have a variety of options, mostly IPA's. I wish they had more of a sour menu. The only sour they had- I didn't like.

You picked the correct location for the best beer in Houston. Wow!!! This place has something for everyone and then some. From light to dark you can't go wrong on your selection . I would recommend getting a flight. Their Fire in the Hole was phenomenal!!!

Holler has a nice patio (some shared patio areas). Lots of tv screens & lots of nice folks to watch a game with.

Stopped in on a random Monday we had off while the rest of the world was working. If you're in the situation to be looking for a mid-day, mid-week beer, this is the spot to come to! We both got the hazy IPA on the menu and it was super tasty. Nice outdoor space too! First and kind service at the bar.

My husband and I LOVE THIS BREWERY!! The beer is good and everybody is friendly. Beach Vibe is our favorite beer from them because it's just light and refreshing. The prices are reasonable and they allow dogs in their patio. We just stumbled upon this brewery because it's a 5 minute walk from our house and recently we just joined their running club called Holler Haulers which happens every Wednesday. They have other things going on on other days of the week also like trivia night but I'm not sure which day that happens. It's small inside but there are enough seating and there are plenty of seating outside. There is also a taco stand called Tacos Bombero outside of the brewery if you would like something to eat. They have a parking lot so parking should not be an issue here.

Cool brewery, nice atmosphere. Was able to get parking in the lot. Decent selection of beer, enjoyed the Mexican lager. Staff were pretty on collecting empty beer glasses. They had a food vendor selling crawfish outside, best crawfish I've ever had. Came in a sack, spicy, garlic, delicious and well priced. Stickers were a dollar.

This spot has been on my radar for a long time. I've been wanting to check this place out. The main reason why I wanted to check this out was because the taco pop up that is here. Tacos bombero. Really cool laid-back chill spot. The bartending staff is very attentive and helpful. They are very nice and they make you feel at home. Atmosphere: they have a limited amount of indoor seating with cold AC which is nice. Air condition blows pretty cold for a hot summer afternoon. So if you're not a big fan of the sun you can simply sit inside. If you want to sit outside there's plenty of outdoor patio area, there's also some outdoor seating as well under some huge massive oak trees. Overall it's a pretty nice spot to hang out and chill with friends. Or a date. Etc. I believe they are dog friendly is a saw a dog today. I would definitely come back here for the tacos and the chill atmosphere.

This has a smaller brew list than most breweries around it, but has great beers. The place itself is in a strip so it's kind of small. Their slushies were great and so was their sour beer that I had. Not much to do here besides watch games on the TVs. The bartender was really friendly!

Czech pils and cacao stout - small size. Refillable cans!

This place is really quite neat. It's tucked in a spot that's off the beaten path - and perfectly accessible for biking adventures. They've also got a large shared parking lot. Unfortunately, I've yet to see the inside due to Covid 19 but it seems fairly quaint. I had no idea they'd been around for 3 years, but I'm happy to have finally stumbled across them! We tried the cacao stout, German pils, and Czech pils in the small size. Circa $20 for four* craft beers? Definitely affordable. Plus, I love the cans - I just wish they recycled! They will refill your can if you'd like to use it for a second beer. They come with twist off tops which ensures the beer is fresh if you're saving it for later. I'll definitely be back soon enough. Glad to support local! Update: came back, tried the sour this time and WOW. Really loved it. Great spot!

It's a small brewery with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a water cooler around for everyone to drink from, which is always a plus for me, and they have TVs and games. Also the names were very creative - very cool. I wasn't drinking that day but my boyfriend got the "Czech It Twice" Pilsner and liked it, and I ordered a Topo Chico. Would definitely like to go back to try the beers.

Pretty decent brewery. The beer selection was kinda small, but decent for sure. Located in a really cool area. But it was also pretty small.

Ask the Community - Holler Brewing

Are there food trucks there on weekends for food options?

Yes! They always have amazing food trucks. I've been there twice and once it was Greek food and another time was American (burgers and such).

How have I never reviewed Saint Arnold Brewing Company?!…read more It's the longest running craft brewery in Texas, having won countless national awards. Though I don't drink beer anymore, I love that they do have a line of ciders and sparkling water at the brewery; and they have a few wine options. Most recently, I had their pizza margherita (made with cauliflower pizza crust, per my request). It was surprisingly very good! I wasn't expecting much, but it was crispy and had zesty pesto sauce that made it even better. If you don't want to order from their kitchen, they do have food trucks and other artisan vendors, entertainment. Do a tour if you can. It's kid and dog-friendly. And it's a great spot to watch some sports on their big screen with views of the downtown Houston skyline. Also, love that SA supports so many non-profit events. High community involvement...

For $15 plus $5 for chicken, you'd expect it to be at least a decent sized salad and have salad stuff in there but you just get a few pieces of chicken and a green goo with just a few and I mean this literally, a few pieces of arugula? I guess I should have read the fine print which didn't mention lettuce but how can you call something a salad that doesn't have any kind of green leaves? I have been coming here a few times a year for various events but the place just doesn't seem to have any sort of a niche...yeah they have beer but I could get that down the street at any pub. They don't even bother putting ice in their water coolers anymore either.

No venue embodies this more than 8th Wonder Brewery, which has become a must visit since there is so much more than meets the eye. There are numerous reasons I can get behind this wonder: :: Outdoor seating is one of the best I've seen in Houston. There are tables galore and an endless amount of space to run around in. It is so vast that even on their busiest days i've still managed to find some aspect of seating. :: It's enormous. There is so much room to run around and plenty of space to where it never feels crowded. Seating is abundant and the high ceilings :: Need somewhere to go where a bunch of folks can meet up immediately? No reservations required and bring the kids and pets (during the daytime), or show up with a bunch of folks and enjoy the outdoor tables. :: Like beer? Good. There's plenty of it here. The dome foam (throwback cream ale) and the cougar paw (red ale) are excellent. :: Happy Hour is between 4pm-7pm, which includes $8 THC cocktails and a variety of other spirits. $4 beer drafts, $5 THC drafts, and $6 well liquor. Their daily "Wonder Hour is from 8-9pm where it's 25% off all to-go purchases. :: No pretension here. No cover. Come in and go out. That's a beautiful thing considering how any venues here will check for IDs and promptly ask for money. :: On select nights, this the street side destination for Yoyo's Hot Dogs (#1), which moved here after their initial run in Rice Village. :: They serve Delta-8 / Delta-9 here. Nuff said. :: Service from the bartenders has always been no frills and friendly. All drinks are normally served with a smile and the pours can be nice and heavy. The only downside is the bathrooms and the parking. There isn't enough of the latter and there's not of the former. Still, I appreciate all the intangibles that 8th Wonder has to offer and look forward to coming here each time. ___________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz/yoyos-hot-dog-houston-14?

They don't offer beer flights, as that would have made it easier to sample more of their beers. There's a large indoor and outdoor space great for large groups, events, or simply hanging out. The brewery is located in the East End/Second Ward and it's owned by the same folks as Brash Brewing. The building was built in the early 1900s. The taproom is moderate in size and there were quite a few tables. I had a pint of the Oktoberfest which I really enjoyed! I also ordered a flight with the following: 3 Seashells, Brash EZ 7, Spin Jammer, and the Exotica Scorpion. I didn't care for the Exotica (it was too sour for my preference), but I did like the other three that I tried. We didn't see any food during our visit, but they do have rotating vendors that sell food on site. You can also bring in food or have food delivered to the brewery. They don't have any TVs, so this wouldn't be a place to watch a game. They do allow free parking at the brewery if you want to take the train to the stadium which is pretty cool. I really enjoyed the fighting windmills the most. It was described as a mexican lager. The staff were friendly and were able to provide input on the drink choices. It was spacious, family friendly, and cool inside despite the heat. They even had games to enjoy. I'm giving a 3 because the beer was good but not great.
