This was my first time visiting this spot - highly recommend. It's the old Sears store! - I use to shop there all the time + take Ruby in for oil changes next door all the time they serve cider! + beer + wine. first 3 hours of parking are FREE in gated lot - the gates are fancy high tech + read your license plates entrance on Fannin St.

Cool place to have a beer or glass od wine at The Ion. There were about 8-10 beers on draft, several wines on tap, and I saw assorted bottled and canned beer along with non-alcoholic beverages and sparkling waters. Staff was great! Came here for the market, we will come back again and again, cool place.

Nice place in The Ion (old Sears building) for a cold draft or glass of wine. Nice staff who is ready to assist. Nice patio with view of the courtyard with a new art installation coming soon.

2nd Draft is an AMAZING pub at the ION district that you'll be sure to visit. 18+ taps rotating local craft and microbreweries and the atmosphere of innovation and collaboration between the university and industry entrepreneurs. Love this place! Aris "the tap-master" was so helpful in explaining the current selections, allied tastings and then was able to describe the technical attributes and conditions of a perfect nitro pour! Second Draft is on my frequented list for sure. Thanks!

Awesome place, great selection! Wide variety of non alcoholic drinks. Would come here again.

Where do I start?…read more This was my first time coming here and I was blown away! 1. Drinks selection was awesome! I don't drink beer so they had non alcoholic drinks, and ciders! It was great and I was able to sample some to try but also got a flight! 2. Got two pizzas enough to share with others! The margarita pizza by far the best! The fries were good but I think I liked the garlic parm ones better! Also not pictures fish and chip omg best! Would get again. We also got the grits the seasoning was amazing but it was little dry. However I would still go back 3. Outside venue was beautiful Overall go early as seats are first come first serve especially if it's a big party! Again our waitress was so attentive such a great time. They had fifa game one and had corn hole beautiful views! Plenty of parking as well.

The chicken sandwich was dry and lacked true seasonings (I think CFA's was any better). I thought having ranch would makeup for the dryness yet it seemed to make it worst. The pretzel held more excitement than any of the entrees put together. If you are planning on coming here for a weekend; be ready--although it was family friendly this place was as packed as sardines in a tin (have a strategy for the crowdedness). We stopped in and I asked if they did flights and I simply got a rude "nope" and the guy just looked away. So I ordered a Happy Accidents pale ale that was decent. I asked if they had stickers and I got the same "Nope". I asked if they ever had them or if they were just out, "out" was the reply. Not exactly a chatty guy. So, this most recent visit, I came with a couple buddies. We stopped in before the World Baseball Classic. Still no flights and still no stickers. (The stickers are important for my garage man cave wall!). However, the beertender was a much friendlier lady this time and I got an orange fudge stout that wasn't very good. The place itself is pretty cool for the most part. Really big outdoor area with a bunch of shipping containers turned patio covers. There are a bunch of pinball machines, and the decor is fun. They are also heavy on the cannabis side of things. Areas for improvement: Get some stickers offer flights so people can try your beers parking sucks

It's nestled in central Oak Forest area amongst residential homes and bungalows and I just love that vibe. I usually visit during the week day so not a big crowd. I enjoy sitting out on the patio or couch. There's usually a food truck outside for small bites and burgers as well. In addition to beers on tap, they also have this cool concept of in which flavored ice cubes of orange juice and different flavors are placed inside Prosecco, for a refreshing mimosas which I thought was neat. Parking is located by the right side of the building as there's a huge lot. Payment is required.

So as I have said before it's a lot of fun to try these out when one of these bookmarked breweries can finally get tried out. Karbach Brewing was one of these breweries that were on this lengthy but steadily diminishing brewery list of mine. The beer that we had was a Kölsch beer by the name of Love Street. The flavor features to enjoy with this kölsch is a naturally sweet flavor along with a clean presence as well as a finish. The beer gives a slight warming feeling and is smooth in body. It's also very light bodied so not out of the realm of possibility of having more than one while hanging out. A very solid beer overall.

They prepared my food ahead of time. Pizzas, Brussels sprouts that we all fought over, hummus, nachos, and 3 sets of wings. When we arrived the tables had reserved signs with our group name. It was 3pm so we were all starving. We ordered drinks at the bar and some of my group members pointed out all the pride flags making them feel welcome and happy to patronize this place. People commented on the ginger beer and loved every single thing on our tables. Most awesome is that they didn't want a deposit two weeks before when I called even though I offered since they were making so much food for 20. I wanted them to know we were really going to show up. As a group of artists, we loved the artwork especially the mural with Houston letters. We took a group photo and some of us headed back on the road to SA completely satisfied. Others loved the vibe of the place and neighborhood and decided to stay longer and explore some more. Thank you Gristworkz!
