An amazing experience every time you come. We come multiple times per week with our teen daughter (who will actually hang out with her parents at this place). The drinks are draft drinks (and I don't usually drink draft drinks). So the drinks are great BUT... the food is amazing. @Mortuary BBQ shows up with food and it's over the top. I live around D&T and when I smell the food I show up to get dinner. An excellent hang out for any night or a families night.

This place is a gem! You would never guess that it belongs there but a great place to set up for the day; relaxing, super laid back and great pop up spots for chefs! The outdoor area is great as it opens up to the inside part, as well. A great part of this place is that the owners are very involved! They even work the bar and really make an effort to serve their customers. Eddy is one of the owners that I met the day I came with some friends and it is truly evident that they care about this business! Will definitely be back!

6 $ drafts all day when the Texans play!!! I mean what do you need other than that. They dont serve food because of renovations but the bartender was awesome and the atmosphere was relaxed. They have a patio and a large choice of beers. I recommend as a duck off spot to chill and watch the games.

I'm a huge D&T fan and have been for years. Before we moved we went every week for frozen sangrias on steak night. Whenever friends come into town to visit this is a spot we'd take them to! Realized since then it changed ownership (we recently moved back). Happy to say its still got TJs ch and unsuspecting friends get a kick out of this unassuming treasure. Only complaint is it seems the frozen sangria doesn't hold as much of a punch. Would love to see this addressed, and if so we'd definitely be regulars again--no question.

Driving down the street, I passed it up. The back patio is nice, covered with a lot of chairs and tables. Nights look fun. Our server was awesome- she could tell us everything about everything. The pulled pork nachos were the BOMB. The half order that was ordered was enough for two people. The pickled red onion is sweet, and crunchy. These nachos I must say would put a lot of others to shame. The atmosphere is conducive of having a good time. I will definitely return back.

This is 100% a hidden gem!! It is so unassuming from the outside. I didn't get a chance to eat there, but excited to come back. GREAT beer selection and the frozen drinks were not too sweet and awesome. Bartender was super nice and the place is dog friendly! Can't wait to come back when there is not a monsoon so I can enjoy the patio!

This Heights dive is cool. Tons of beer on tap (including lots of Texas beer) - they also have a couple of non-beer drinks for non-beer-drinkers: wine, sangria, and something else. They have daily happy hour specials - last night a great St. Arnold's was on the happy hour, so that's what I got! (But then when I discovered they had Lone Pint's Yellow Rose, I had to have that!) Their food is creative and good! I had the cauliflower grilled cheese sandwich - pretty delicious. Only thing keeping this place from being a five star is super picky - WHY would you put peanuts on elote??? Not great elote. There are lots of other vegetarian options! Starters: pimiento cheese and ritz cracks; beet pickled eggs; hose pickle plate, and smoked mushroom mousse. Entrees: beet salad, portobello grilled cheese, vegetarian nachos, kimchee nachos, and the smoked mushroom bowl. They don't have any pescatarian options - veggie or meat. The place itself is so cool, too. It might not look like a ton from the outside, but there's an indoor bar (that is open to the outdoor area in the back. The back has tons of long picnic tables, with tons of misting fans and twinkly lights! So cool. The staff is awesome. We sat outside for a bit and then went inside to catch the end of a baseball game. Our bartender forgot to add prosciutto to his meal. When we reminded him, a server took his plate back to the kitchen, added the prosciutto, brought it back, and comped the added prosciutto, which is normally a $3 addition. He also walked us through several of their beers! So glad I chose this place to catch up with an old friend!

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! This place is a super cool chill spot, family friendly. Tons of different local beers. Different food trucks almost every night. Dog friendly . Bring some friends and play some games Tv's so you can watch your favorite spots. Friendly Staff . Check out their Instagram page for updates https://www.instagram.com/dandtdriveinn

I've been here a few times but it's usually to participate in one of their TV/Movie themed trivia nights. I've seen the place packed to the rafters for a Parks and Rec trivia night were it seemed to be bonkers crazy busy and then I saw the opposite for the Wayne's World trivia night that felt like barely anyone was there. The food is pretty good especially considering it is a bar. The burger is simple and delicious. There are occasionally food trucks around so if you're in the mood for something that is not on the food menu you might be able to get it from a food truck parked up front. The only reason I knocked a star off is because the service when they were busy was pretty slow and they didn't seem prepared for the onslaught of trivia participants. It took a long time to wait for a simple drink but any other time I have been back, the service and atmosphere has been wonderful.

I loved their frozen shandy (beer + lemonade), although the frozen sangria was a little too sweet my taste.

The burger was the highlight. Moody lighting and not too loud (unless someone brought their kids) so you can actually converse with your party. Will absolutely be back for the burger. It's a nice lowkey neighborhood spot with a bar and outdoor seating as well. The ambiance was chill and casual which I am all for. They are pet friendly as I got to see some fur babies come in which is always nice. We started with some glasses of Cabernet and told our waiter we were celebrating my birthday. The food didn't take long to come out and was so darn good. It was probably one of the best steak nights I've had in a while. We had the ribeyes, mash potato, mac and cheese, green beans, and French fries. The steak was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the perfect temperature to my liking. We are still talking about it, I can't wait to come back and try their chimichurri sauce. We ended with the strawberry and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheese cake. They weren't too sweet and just the right amount of richness. If they aren't on your list for steak night I definitely recommend!

They also have dog bowls and water for your pups if needed. The bartender/owner was great, she let me try a beer before committing and checked on me several times during my stay there. There's artwork to purchase on the walls, more tvs, additional cans of seltzer or thc drinks if that's more of your style. I love how it's locally owned and brewed. They were having smoked wings. 6 for $10 or 10 for $15. Comes with chips, carrots/celery and ranch. They were quite smokey, a lil salty but still delicious. The vibes are chill and they had football on. All and all a great place to stop by for a beer.

We ended up being mostly the only ones in the brew house for most of the evening which was a surprise, we enjoyed the beers and the service. There is a local brewery that is inside the brew house, Turkey Forrest Brewing. We enjoyed the hazy IPA, cream ale, and a watermelon tajin ale they had on tap. They also have beers and canned beverages from a variety of other places and popular canned drinks too, to suit any preference. My boyfriend and I had a really fun time playing board games they had available and chilling out. There were also Halloween movies and a playlist playing. Seems like we were there on a slow night, they appear to have events throughout the week such as a run club and bingo nights. Definitely a fun, chill option in the area!

When I found the place, I was shocked to see how tiny it seemed! I was thinking, "Could 20 people even fit in there?" It was house-turned-bar that appeared to have been built in the 30 or 40's. When we went in, it was definitely all eyes on us for a minute. Rose was warm however, and we ordered two Lonestars off the advice of a previous review. The locals were an older crowd, but didn't mind us popping in. We even played a game of pool with them. Rose appreciated the tipping generousity of my boyfriend. She brought out Polish sausages for everyone to snack on! There's a lot of history in this place, with the building itself and the people that frequent it. You're able to bring in your own food as well, but we came here for Tuesday Steak night from Modestos Grill. $30 for a ribeye + choice of potato or salad. The salad was actually quite a large portion and potato was baked nicely and came with all the fix'ns. Steak was seasoned really well and cooked to my preference of medium.
