Luckily, they have some bar seating too, so other guests were able to use those. They had live jazz here this past weekend (which they do every other Sunday), and the band produced an enjoyable performance throughout the night. But the music was really loud, like club volume, so it was hard to have conversations in there... but maybe it's better so people can focus on the music!?! Either way, this was a really laid back spot, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great experience.

I also ordered a flight with the following: 3 Seashells, Brash EZ 7, Spin Jammer, and the Exotica Scorpion. I didn't care for the Exotica (it was too sour for my preference), but I did like the other three that I tried. We didn't see any food during our visit, but they do have rotating vendors that sell food on site. You can also bring in food or have food delivered to the brewery. They don't have any TVs, so this wouldn't be a place to watch a game. They do allow free parking at the brewery if you want to take the train to the stadium which is pretty cool. It's in an industrial park like strip mall so it doesn't look like much from the outside. No food onsite that I could see. I ordered a flight when I got there and was pleasantly surprised to see they do 6 beer flights. Score! I ordered 2 stouts, 2 pilsners, and 2 IPA's. The Dark Artifact (stout) was my favorite, but the pilsners were a pleasant surprise. They were playing 90's hip hop (A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, De La Soul) at a chill volume. My kind of place.

Even with how incredibly busy they were, the entire team was efficient, organized, and provided outstanding service. Susan, who was handling order pickups, was absolutely outstanding. She was the sweetest, kindest, and most patient person, even while managing a large number of customers at once. She communicated exceptionally well with the kitchen, always had answers to customers' questions, and handled every situation with professionalism and a smile. I witnessed customers become frustrated, Susan stayed calm, smoothed things over, and made sure every order was made right. Somehow by accident an item wasn't included on our order. As soon as she realized it, she had a fresh order ready for us in just minutes. She even called me, instead of sending a text so I would know immediately. Susan, and ALL THE STAFF truly went above and beyond on a super busy day, and their customer service made a hectic holiday feel easy. Susan is a tremendous asset to Talyards, and because of employees like her, it's easy to see why this is one of our favorite places. We'll definitely be back again and again!

Surprisingly, the Dark Prospect ended up being my favorite of the four beers and the best beverage I had there. I also tried the Margarita and Strawberry Fresca cider, and both were just okay. For food I ordered the Bacon Glazed Brussels and they were delicious! The brussel sprouts were crispy, and I loved the combination of the onions and bacon. I also had the built your own pizza with San Marzano sauce, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon. All of the toppings were delicious, but unfortunately, the pizza crust itself was pretty greasy, flimsy, and floppy. The crust didn't hold the toppings very well, and I could barely taste the San Marzano sauce. The service was good. Everyone I encountered was very nice and friendly. As far as ambiance Talyard has a spacious setup with indoor, outdoor, and upstairs seating. They also have a playground, a big screen for movie nights, and private rooms available for events.

Brewery #397 Under…read morethe Radar is a very small neighborhood style brewery. Lots of people just cycling and walking up to get a pint. I got my usual flight and for a small brewery, they had a solid sized selection of 14 different styles. I got a Hazy IPA, a Kolsch, a stout and a rice lager. The Hazy Town was my favorite, but I really liked the Koln Kolsch too. They also had a refrigerator for soft drinks and a few different nonalcoholic which was great for my buddy who no longer drinks. Most of the seating is outside but most of the seats are in the shade. The beertender (is that a word...it should be) was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely be a regular if I lived nearby.

It's not just a coffee shop, but also a cocktail bar and event space. There is a combination of several 4-top low tables, 4-top high tables, couch seating, coffee table seating, bartop seating and even a few 2-top tables outside. Each table also has flowers and a menu with a pamphlet detailing their current events for the month. Lots of Porsche photos on the wall, even a photo wall with a Porsche on the track. I can see this space catering to mostly men, but also women who love Porsches. The focal point is obviously the Porsche-shaped lighted bookshelf along the back wall of the bar area where liquor bottles are being stored. This is also to scale with an actual Porsche 911. Eighties and modern light rock and pop music was playing in the background during my visit. Parking is slightly difficult and the actual entrance is tricky to find, but just pull into the Porsche dealership from either Greenbriar or Shepherd and that will get you there. I read through the menu briefly at the counter and immediately spotted the drink I'd order, the German Chocolate, iced. I also tried their almond croissant. German Chocolate signature latte - served elegantly and in a large glass and very tasty, so it justified the slightly higher prices for the drink. It's composed of mocha and coconut puree with a caramel and chocolate drizzle. The only thing missing were the coconut flakes imo. Almond croissant - tasted like a typical almond croissant; however, here they will serve it to you on a nice plate with fork and knife. They also provide complimentary Dickinson's honey and jams next to the sugar dispenser by the cash register. Lattes here are definitely elevated if you order a signature version. However, basic lattes start at $6, for hot or iced. Some of their flavors are common ones; however, they also have ones that aren't so common at other coffee shops around town: - cookie butter, - butter pecan, and - pistachio. What great restaurant, bar or coffee shop would be complete without a happy hour? Yes, they also have a happy hour Tues - Sat 4-6pm and reverse from 8-10pm where you can get discounts (about 30%) on beer, wine and cocktails.
