I went to Holey Moley at the Irvine Spectrum because it looked so unique. The funky colors and fun theme immediately caught my attention. I wasn't expecting much, I'll be honest. Well... I ended up loving it so much that I went three times in one week! They have mini golf, karaoke, interactive games upstairs, great food, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The service was great! It does get busy on the weekends, especially when ordering food, so keep in mind that the staff is doing their best to help everyone. Everywhere else throughout the venue, there are team members walking around checking in to make sure guests are doing okay or if they need anything, which I really appreciated. Plus, their retro outfits totally match the fun vibe! I went with friends, and we had an absolute blast. It's the perfect spot for a group hangout, date night, or even a family outing. Just a heads-upon weekends they usually have a DJ, so the music gets pretty loud, and after 8 PM it's 21+ only. It is a little on the pricey side, but if you're looking for a place where you can play, eat, sing, and have fun all in one spot, I definitely recommend checking it out. read more

Holey Moley - Mini Golf, Hole #5 - Mini Golf Near Me - Irvine, California

It was good until it wasn't. Had reservations for the game rooms/mini golf. You do one portion then have a 45 minute break and start on the second portion. Got there before half of our group and went to the bar on the Holey Moley side for some drinks. My friends were waiting to order drinks and I even went to the restroom and when I came back they were still waiting. They weren't attending to any other party or couldn't even let us know they be with us in just a moment. But once we did get our order in, the bartender was nice and helpful. We then went to Hijinx before starting in the game rooms. The bartenders there were nice and friendly. I wish I got the one bartenders name because she was super nice and has great customer service. The staff that handled the game room area came to get us to start our turn. He was nice, friendly and very informative. My friends and I had a blast playing the games, however there is no ventilation, no AC or cool air AT ALL! Now imagine moving around, sweating and you're breathing in hot air. There's literally no fresh air until you walk outside. With that being said, one of my friends fainted from all the movement and the hot air. The staff that helped us with the games attended to our needs/gave us water to help our friend out, but it went downhill once the manager, Ivan got involved. He did say we can sit outside in the patio area and he was going to get one of the servers to take our food order/drinks. And he was going to come back and take an incident report. No one came out to take our order. So my friends went in and that's when we found out they were no longer going to serve us. We told them, our friend that fainted is not drinking. She just needed fresh air and water because of the bad ventilation. Yes, he provided SOME assistance with water and asked if we needed 911, but in the same breath he repeatedly accused my friend of being intoxicated (despite her answering him clearly and being coherent). He said he had the right to refuse service to us because the server felt "uncomfortable" because my friend was "intoxicated". Mind you, we're sitting on the patio where there are other bystanders. Instead of being professional and showing genuine concern for a customer who just fainted, his priority seemed to be labeling us as "drunk" to get us off of the premises. And if he had taken the time to assess the whole situation he would have known we were in the right to get a refund on the second portion of our reservation, instead of telling us he wasn't going to give us a refund. And he said the refund would take about 3-4 month, THAT'S CRAZY. If he would have handled this situation better, I would have been opened to recommending this place to friends and family but now I will tell them to take their business elsewhere. read more

I really wanted to leave a good review for this place because it's super cute. The decor was beautiful, and they did a great job with the overall look. The review on the golf side is simply what it is. It's indoor golf with no airflow or AC, and kids running around everywhere, so that part was expected and nothing to complain about. However, the restaurant was absolutely terrible in terms of service. The food itself was pretty good, but the service completely ruined our experience. The servers could barely stand still long enough to take our order or explain how anything worked. Apparently, you order and the food just comes out whenever it comes out, not in any normal order like most restaurants. It was difficult to even get a drink refill. Some appetizers were missing--we let it go, but still got charged for them. Some main entrées never came at all. We weren't charged for those, but they would have arrived after the rest of the group had already finished eating. We thought we chose a good time to sit down and eat since most diners were out playing and we were one of the few tables being waited on, but that didn't make a difference. This place is exactly what the Spectrum needed, but it has to do better. They need to work out the major kinks and improve the service. Unfortunately, we don't see ourselves coming back anytime soon. We'll have to give it more time. read more

The atmosphere is very visually appealing and had fun signage. I love the look of the different courses, artsy, quirky, random. The mini golf theme was definitely on point. Unfortunately it was very unorganized and some staff seemed frustrated/annoyed. We (six people) opted for 27 holes and we checked in, we were giving two cards with three colors and three different times. There was no explanation except go over there and someone will help you. Well, we went over there and no one was there to help us so we just started where it said "start here". We ordered drinks and some people got their drinks and some people didn't. By the time we got to the ninth hole, we asked about a missing drink and we're about to go to the 10th hole when the staff questioned what we were doing and then scolded us because it's actually three separate courses of nine holes each so when you finish, you're supposed to leave the ball in the hole. So then we're obviously wondering then how do we start the next course without a ball and she seemed putt out and gave us coins and said to go get another ball. After we finished the 2nd course, there was again no one around so we had to go chase someone down for more coins. As we were in the 3rd course, it got super crowded so people were just going to anything that was open. It was chaotic and didn't seem like anyone cared what you purchased vs what you're actually doing. We did have a good time but I personally won't go back because it's too crowded and disorganized. I would recommend going at least once because it's a cool space. read more

It was me and my boyfriend's first time ever visiting Holey Moley and I must say that's been one of our funnest dates yet. Each course is so cute and differently themed which makes it more engaging and exciting to see what the next one will be. Me and my boyfriend are pretty competitive so it truly was a blast. The drinks here as well were actually pretty good and well priced, the shark cup was super cute and the taste overall was bomb. I would definitely come back so I can play the blue section! #holeymoleygolf.usa @holeymoleyirvine #buzzybooth read more

Holey Moley - Friends .... Happy birthday E - Mini Golf Near Me - Irvine, California

Came here just for the mini golf, so I can't speak on the restaurant. The space has a lot of cute photo ops, which is a plus. However, as a mini golf experience, it wasn't the best option in Orange County. The holes feel very cramped, and there's barely any space between them. You end up waiting in line at every hole, and you're basically elbow to elbow with the group in front of you and the group behind you. It made the experience feel crowded and less enjoyable overall. While it was fun to check out once, I wouldn't come back here for my mini golf fix. read more

Holey Moley - The boys first visit!! - Mini Golf Near Me - Irvine, California

Our team at LEAF Commercial Capital was looking for a fun team bonding event to celebrate an incredible 2025. We achieved many milestones last year, but most importantly, we were celebrating a record-breaking year in originations. Holey Moley in Irvine turned out to be the perfect place to mark the occasion. The experience was seamless from the start. I filled out a form on their website and spoke within 24 hours to Derek, who was great to work with. The booking process was straightforward; we were able to select packages for appetizers and drinks easily, and we had the event booked within hours. Although scheduling conflicts kept our full roster from attending, we had 34 people join the fun. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly team that was completely ready for us. They gave clear instructions on how everything worked and even took group photos of our staff right away--I was immediately impressed by their organization. A huge shout-out goes to Megan M., Ivan, and Destiny. They were incredible--organized, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring we had a great time. One specific thing that stood out to me, which I rarely see, is how genuinely happy the staff seemed. I actually asked Megan M. and Ivan about it, and they mentioned that their CEO and management team treat them very well. As a leader who prides myself on the culture we've built at our own organization--and doing whatever we can to take care of our employees--it was refreshing to see another company, especially in this space, succeeding at that. Once we settled in, the team hit the bar for drinks, and the food arrived promptly over the next 30 minutes. The 9 holes of mini-golf were a blast and provided exactly the kind of fun, relaxed atmosphere we wanted. Thank you, Holey Moley, for a successful event and for taking such good care of us. We will definitely consider coming back! read more

The first part of this review is for Sarah N. - she truly went above and beyond for us at the restaurant! We were honestly considering leaving due to some initial service concerns, but Sarah stepped in and said 'not on my watch.' She completely turned the experience around and made everything right. Thank you, Sarah, for making our New Year's Eve so memorable ...we truly appreciate you! We also rented a room at the Hijinx Hotel and had an amazing time ringing in the New Year with the kids. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was a blast. Note to the manager at the restaurant: please consider finding a way to provide hot water - the moms would greatly appreciate it. After all, this is a family spot! PS: The food was GOOD. PPS: The golf was VERY fun for both kids and adults. Happy New Year! read more

The staff at the restaurant/ Bar side were very rude and unwelcoming. We were not even allowed to place our belongings on a table, even though we fully intended to order food and drinks. Instead of asking whether we planned to order, they immediately told us to leave. It was only after an attendant from the golf area spoke to them that we were finally allowed to stay. I don't understand why they were so upset about guests sitting at tables. Isn't the purpose of this restaurant to allow guests to enjoy golfing while eating and drinking? The experience at the bar was just as unpleasant. It was New Year's Eve, and while we weren't asking for any holiday greetings, the bartender spoke in an aggressive tone and was simply rude. Accused some kids taken some wooden stirs that looks like a surf board without permission when she was the one misplaced at an open area at the first place. If this establishment wants to be a family-friendly place, the staff clearly need proper training on how to welcome guests and provide respectful, courteous service. Overall, the service was disappointing and took away from what should have been an enjoyable experience. read more

This is a must! Whether you are a family with kids or in date night, you can't go wrong with this place. We tried all 3 courses for miniature golf and 10 different rooms. Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you are doing the game rooms. Be prepared to get warn out too. The staff was super helpful and it was easy to order drinks while golfing, despite them being busy. The only downfall was the gender neutral bathrooms. Not because they are gender neutral, but because little boys spray on seats. Yuck. Several of the bathroom seats weren't very clean. I rather not deal with that. My fiancé and I came In for a date night Sunday 8/23/26. Honestly, the staff was amazing letting us know how everything worked. Hence, this was our first time here so we didn't know where yo go or what to expect. We came across Daniel in our back 9 to finish out the 18th hole. He went above and beyond to give us direction, time allowance, and give the most memorable experience by answering any and all questions we had with a fun attitude. Will definitely be back for the next 18! read more

This is only a review on the mini-golf/bar. The bar was well-themed, but staff was disorganized. Asked by three different people for our orders, and they weren't aware that we already ordered. Probably a result of new staff, but it was chaotic. Also, it was confusing where we should go. We lined up at the bar, but then someone came and took our order while we stood near the bar? And then after some awkward standing around, we just sat ourselves at a booth. We came 30 minutes early to our tee time to grab a drink/food. They took 40 minutes to arrive. Four drinks and some pretzel bites took 40 minutes. At least the drinks were strong. They're full of ice and in highball glasses, so don't expect to be able to sip them for very long. The mini-golf definitely could've been better. It was small and cramped and I would say only 4 out of 9 holes had anything really interesting. Some of them were just obvious filler. There are 27 holes in the space of what should be 9 regular mini-golf holes. It was pretty much a waste of time for any adults looking to go. We had a few drinks in us and it was still boring/dumb. It seemed like it would be okay for children, but the wear and tear was already showing on DAY TWO of official operations. (carpet is fraying making the surface uneven) I can only imagine what it would be like after a month. I can't even recommend the mini-golf during Happy Hour or whatever sale they've got going. Save yourself some money and pass on this and go to Boomers for mini-golf, cause this was no bueno. read more
