Love this place! Really fresh sushi stand in the farmer's market next to the Grove. They have a lot of yummy and interesting rolls - pricing is a bit steep but everything is very fresh. Great spot to order some sushi if you're in the area.

The Las Vegas roll was delicious. The texture was perfect. Especially the top portion of the roll. The Salmon on the Alaska roll was nice and fresh. my kids als loved it.

The albacore hand roll was fresh the owner was so Nice such a hard working man! Won't sell you fish unless it's fresh.

Food was amazing the owner was extremely nice. Came a a little bit late yesterday he offered me alternatives than yellow tail. 10/10 would recommend this place other than a chain sushi spot

Tried Hoki Sushi at the Original Farmers Market and had a nice experience. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and I really enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the market. I ordered the spicy tuna roll ($18) it was fresh and tasty!

The sushi is incredible! Fresh, perfect portions, and the people working there are lovely. The Philadelphia roll is outstanding. Love the cucumber strips that they put in there and I don't even eat cucumber normally, haha! Will definitely be back!

No joke the sushi and nigiri at this place is better than Nobu's and Catch down the street! I'm super picky but this place hits every time and the quality of fish is mouthwatering. Each bite of the Nigiri plate is literal heaven in your mouth lol. I always get the 10 piece Nigiri plate and customize it by getting 3 salmons, 3 eel, Tuna and Yellowtail. 10/ 10!!

They charged me $34 for a plain basic salmon roll and an avocado roll... that's crazy expensive right?

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

Nice of the chef to switch out roe for halibut for me on my omakase. However, probably the worst omakase I've ever had. No creativity, nothing felt premium, chewy fish, flavors didn't mesh, and half of it was salty. The miso soup wasn't scorching, which i appreciated at first but that meant the last few sips were fairly room temp. The real crab handroll was good. If the price point was $35 sushi set I'd give 5/5 but this is supposed to be premium omakase. I've been to other Sushi Enya locations and had good experiences, so this was very disappointing. Stick to the rolls and nigiri.

Our food orders came out a little sporadically so a few were done before the last ones even received their dinners. Strangely enough theyneven ran out of rice so a few had to wait until the rice was done cooking. Service was a little slow but ok, no real complaints. The Japanese village shops have their own parking structure which offers 2 hrs free with validation, nice benefit. Parking is full so take that into consideration when making plans.

It was definitely not what I've expected or ever experienced in a Japanese restaurant. We were quickly greeted by the staff and be seated by the wall. The upholstery of our seats were torn. The area where we were sitting was a bit too dark and could definitely add more lights for customers to see their menus. After giving a look at the menu, our server asked if we were ready. I said it's our first time so we need some time to look through the menu. She replied ok and left. We mainly ordered sushi items. Servers brought over each item one at a time. When I almost finished mine, my family is still waiting for theirs. You do see the staff walk by the tables constantly. However, I would hope the servers would ask how is everything and if we need anything else. Overall, sushi tastes fine. I probably won't be back given the experience that we had.

The space is intimate and classic--there are only about 20 seats at the main sushi bar and a couple of small tables tucked on the side, so seating is extremely limited. That said, the wait is completely worth it. I was super impressed with the quality of the fish. We ordered a wide variety of sushi, and every single piece was exceptionally fresh, beautifully cut, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The chefs clearly take pride in their craft, keeping things traditional and letting the natural flavor of the fish shine without overloading anything with heavy sauces. I've tried a lot of sushi spots across Southern California, and Hama easily stands out as one of the absolute best. If you appreciate authentic, top-tier sushi in a cozy, old-school atmosphere, this place is a must-visit!
