I was really pleasantly surprised by this place. I wasn't sure what kind of restaurant I was going to, but it had solid reviews so we decided to try it out. Not too expensive, good food, and great service. Would definitely recommend! read more

Honestly, some of the best BBQ I've ever had (especially the ribs). Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it's an order at the counter place. That doesn't mean that they won't come around and check on you or offer to refill your drink. They've been in Tifton for several years now. The place is frequently packed, especially on Saturday morning and any weekday lunch. Consistently friendly service and excellent food. A Christian establishment. read more

Ok...but not awesome. Lots of food for the money. Wish they would put the grits in a separate bowl. Nice service.

This is our favorite breakfast stop in the Tifton area. We travel between Orlando, FL and Birmingham, AL and spend the night in Tifton. One of the highlights of stopping is Breakfast. Homemade biscuits with real eggs and crunchy bacon. Country ham biscuits!! What can be better?!?! Crunchy round hash browns. Grits that are perfectly seasoned. Even in the south this is hard to find in a restaurant. Fresh brewed sweet and unsweetened tea. Yummy cinnamon rolls are my kids favorite. We always go through the drive thru and the food is hot, fresh, and fast. Do not waste your breakfast belly on the McDonalds next door! Eat real food. read more

Had a BBQ sandwich, bbq was very tender and had a great smokey flavor, loved the signature sauce.

Probably the best BBQ in the area. Anytime I pass through Tifton I stop to get a pulled pork sandwich on texas toast with the gold sauce. The sides I have tried are all amazing and the breakfast is great too. May have been the biggest sausage biscuit I have ever seen. You get way more than what you pay for here. Friendly staff too and easy to get to from HWY 82 or I-75. Very family friendly and nice music while you eat! read more

Great pork, chicken, and baked beans. Very tasty sauces. Worth the stop. Good value. We stopped late Saturday night and they were out of ribs and slaw. read more

Had the rib/chicken basket. Both meats were aggressively salted to the point I could not eat. Ribs tasted like they had been boiled first, seasoned and then grilled. I could not taste any rub on the meat. They were more like pickled meat than ribs. Mac N Cheese was good. Very cheesy. Texas toast was salty. Onion strips were ok. Had kinda a beer batter taste. Wife had pulled chicken. She finished but said is was overly salty. Sauces were OK but all 4 tasted very similar. Kids shared a fried strips basket. Chicken strips were very small for the price. Service was very good. Prices were very reasonable. However, we will not be back. If I cannot eat the food, what's the point. We are not hyper critical folks, but this was not up to the high marks on Yelp. read more

Wow. This place is awesome. I had the big Tex BBQ sandwich with sweet potatoe suouflee and it was awesome. Seriously crushes Sonny's and the like. Fast food environment, counter order. read more

Pulled pork good, son got the kids ribs and not real impressed. I'd suggest pulled pork.

Great place. Good food. Big servings. Low prices. Incredible service, the nicest people I've met in a while. Golden sauce is a fantastic.

I was in town, for a family reunion, and picked up an order for the event. The food was a big hit. I can't review the ribs because they were all eaten before I had a chance to try them. Lol. The pulled pork was awesome. One family member said the the chicken was the best they had ever had. The staff is great. Overall, it was just a great experience. read more

Food was average. The genius of a good sandwich is all in how it comes together. Proportion is everything. There is waaayyyyy to much sweet creamy slaw. To the point that I had no idea if the pulled pork was good or not. Fries were mushy. My advice...less slaw, more spice, and grill the whole sandwich. Cold slaw plopped on the meat and then the toast just wasn't good. I really wanted to like this place. read more

Passing thru town from Atlanta to Florida... great tasting food, good serving sizes, quick service and great prices! Found more friendly service in Atlanta than here, and was surprised by that from other reviews i read. I was impressed with the kids meals having plenty of delicious food and a drink and oreos for only $3.99! I would definitely go again if ever in the area! read more

Just afew blocks from I-75 (go west). We drove looking for a crowded local place, and we found it! The barbecue had a nice smoked flavor so I didn't even try any of the sauces. Very good value for the money. A casual place where you order at a window & staff brings your food & cleans up the table. Very clean & friendly. Most importantly-good Que! read more

Good fast food BBQ. The service was fast and friendly. Large portions for a fair price. I would recommend if you are looking for a quick plate and tired of the other fast food guys read more

Outstanding customer service. The green beans and baked beans were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the chicken tenders were. The best part was that the staff was so friendly and attentive. read more

Order at the counter type BBQ place. The staff was very friendly. The food was mediocre. I had the ribs and pulled pork with mac and cheese and stew. It wasn't bad by any means but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. read more

Now if I had to recommend only one place for every meal in the day. HNB is my top pick. The service is good and fast and the food is delish. Rather than go and on about HNB, let me just say that I would eat there everyday if my wallet would allow it. read more

everything about the restaurant is great! rob little, if you are reading this, this isn't it. the hog n bone that we are talking about is "Hawg @ boyne" in New Braunfels. I stopped over at the flash foods and got gas for 198. it was an amazing atmosphere with great food and exceptional customer service, not to mention clean. rob, too bad you're going to miss it. better than sonnys, and I love the shirts, actually wearing one as I compose this review! I bought ten shirts by the way. read more

This place has amazing breakfast and the staff is wonderful. I also love lunch and the Boston butts that they smoke.

I usually eat at Smokin' Pig in Valdosta while on I-75 in Georgia, but I past it up this trip. Following Yelp suggestion, I ended up at Hog-N-Bones. With a name like that, I ordered the rib lunch, and was very disappointed. The food was fresh and edible, but way short of expectations. Ribs were tender but very salty, with almost no smokey taste or smoker "crunch". Probably boiled. Sauces had too much mustard for my taste. BBQ beans tasted like straight from a Campbell's can. Garlic bread was limp and soggy. I'll pass next time. read more

Looks like fast food joint and you order at the counter, have a seat and the magic happens. Tried the pulled pork, ribs and "wings". Pulled pork was good and not too smoky. Ribs amazing, meaty and full of flavor. Chicken wings were not wings but breaded nuggets. However the nuggets were real chicken and not pressed fake chicken. Bbq sauces x 4 and tried 3 (sweet, signature and gold). Sweet was good, signature was great but a little on the runny side and gold was a full on mustard sauce. Side of Mac and cheese a bit bland but comforting after a long road trip, cole slaw and bbq beans were on point. Counter staff and busers were friendly and welcoming. YUM! read more

This is fast food bbq so if you are looking for authentic bbq this is not the place. I could not see a visible pit anywhere on premise . The Cole slaw is finely chopped and has dill relish in it, Brunswick stew is think and flavorless , ribs under cooked and pulled pork had lots of fatty pieces. Keep driving.... read more

Traveling between Tampa and Atlanta, stayed overnight in Tifton. Pulled pork was OK, not anything special. French fries were cold, I returned them and the replacements were fresh and hot. Cole slaw had a ton of sugar, really sweet but good. They need to learn how to keep food HOT, before someone gets sick. Room temperature food is dangerous. Can only give three stars for being fair, nothing special. read more

Passing through from Atlanta to Orlando and stopped to get gas at the Flash Foods which was greatly priced at $2.27/gallon for regular unleaded. Drove a little ways down looking for something to eat and found Hog n Bones near Walmart and Lowe's. The place was hoppin so we figured they had to be good. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of locals seem to frequent it because a lot of the customers knew the staff. 100% State Health Inspection rating!! Pulled pork was Delish, coleslaw was Yummy, tater salad (aka potato salad) was Very Yummy, French fries were crispy on the outside and soft/yummy on the inside. The self serve drink and condiments area was clean and nicely organized. Waited about 2 mins to get a table because the place was packed. As soon as a table came available one of the staff cleared and cleaned it almost instantaneously. Food was brought to our table about 3 mins later and we were in hog heaven because the food was that good! The restrooms were very clean!! Wow, the whole place is a Must stop for travelers. Locals already know! read more

We decided to stop at Hog and Bones on our way home after a long ride from Sarasota. It was just what we wanted -----clean, quick and very tasty! The St. Louis Ribs fell off the bone! The baked beans and slaw were yummy. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We were served at our table by a nice young lady. We will stop there again when we travel that way. read more

Very friendly service, great food and cheep prices. Was worth the stop.

I give them 5 stars for a cheaper fast food bbq joint. The ribs are super meaty and delicious. I usually don't like ribs all that much and these are great. Pulled pork sandwich was good...would've gotten sauce on the side and added my own Bc the sauces on the table are really good. Chicken was moist with a good smoke flavor. We picked this place after reading poor reviews about pit stop, and I sure am glad we did! Very friendly staff, pleasant Christian environment, and overall great experience! So glad we took the time to stop in. If we are ever back by these parts we will come back for sure! read more

Had such a lovely experience for dinner tonight! Extremely friendly and helpful staff...asked if our first visit, made a suggestion for meal and even gave generous sample before ordering to be sure it was to our liking! Delicious BBQ, generous portions and very reasonable pricing! read more

Tonight was our first visit to Hogs and Bones in Tifton, Ga. The service was friendly and prompt and the Bar-b-que chicken was the best we have ever been served. the Manager came to each table to make sure we were pleased with our meal and our service. We will tell people at the Ag Expo tomorrow that the food in Tifton is worth the ride. Definitely a winner! read more

This review would have been a four or five except the food wasn't hot enough. We had pulled pork plate with baked beans and potatoe salad, brunswick stew and cole slaw. Everything tasted good but the meat, beans and stew weren't hot. My husband loved the gold sauce and the baked beans had a unique cinnamon taste. read more

The staff were extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I had special dietary requirements & they patiently went thru items with me. I had smoked chicken with a simple salad with lemon juice for dressing. It was delicious. The chicken was so tender, juicy, & flavorful. I'll be back! read more

AMAZING for a cheaper bbq joint. The regular sauce is gross, but the sweet one is really good. My super picky nephew (who is now 5) loves to get the bbq sandwich and eats every last bite, something that never happens. The sides are ok, except the fries. They are wonderful. Usually get great friendly service. Their breakfast is really good too, the chicken biscuit is the way to go! I think they hand bread their chicken fingers, makes the biscuit that much better. Sometimes you get some really gross and tough chicken bits but otherwise great place! I miss living in the south and having great bbq. They don't know what real bbq is up here in Washington. read more

The best breakfast in town but the worse bbq I have ever had. Very sorry excuse for bbq.

Are you kidding me? good! Ribs were some of the best I've had in years. Green beans and mac 'n cheese authentic southern. Only disappointment is that I live 200 miles north of Tifton. read more
