Took a couple days to digest how bad it was. This Panera Bread has gone down so much from last time from last I was there. Lackluster employees going through the motions. Should have realized something was wrong when no customers at 8:30 am. First quiche was cold. Took it back. Person acted like that happens a lot "Oh! We'll heat one up"??? Both had burnt tops. Steel cut oat meal. "We have no strawberries. We have apple chips." They were dry apple chips. Yuck! I sat there about an hour. One customer and couple drive-thur. Outside busy with traffic. I love Panera, this location looked cute and brand new so we stopped for lunch during our road trip. When we walked in, the tables were ALL dirty. This was at 3 pm, not a very busy time for the cafe. One table was occupied and the rest were dirty, tables and the floor around them. A man was cleaning the floors with a broom and it took a while before any seats were ready. No one takes your order in person, you have to use a machine. No one was available to answer questions. I ordered the Asian salad with chicken and my chicken was FROZEN SOLID. I couldn't believe it. This has never happened, I've been eating at Panera for decades and I never received a frozen brick of chicken on my salad. My husband took it back to them, there was no apology or offer to make things right. The bathroom was extremely dirty as well. When leaving, we saw around 20 dirty plates stacked up on the trash can. I'm not the type to complain but I took pictures because this was shameful for the company Panera. Check your order!!! I ordered a Ranch Cobb salad, Strawberry Poppy Chicken salad, and a bowl of Chicken Wild Rice soup for my wife and myself for take out. When my order was done I asked if they put plastic ware in the bag and she said yes. I get to my hotel room to find only one set of utensils. Always excellent customer service. Everything I have ordered has always been delicious and very filling. I recommend the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt if you are looking for a delicious sandwich. My recommendation of the soups is the Ten Vegetable Soup which you can get in a bowl or bread bowl. If you are looking for something sweet to drink their Frozen Chocolate Cold Brew never disappoints. As soon as I entered the restaurant Kollin one of Panera's employee was in the middle of mopping up a spill, lifted his head and gave me the most warmest and friendliest welcome. That meant a lot to me, for I had spent hours on the road traveling between Michigan and Florida. Something that we often take for granted, I appreciated Kollin sharing some of his happiness with me. Also the being the same person cleaning up the spill, rushed over to take my order, bringing with him the same warm and friendly atmosphere. My order and food was quick and precise. The staff was incredibly friendly, talkative and approachable. This store location was beautiful and welcoming. Stopped for lunch at this brand new Panera Bread - service was excellent. My wife and I ordered from their Pick Two menu. She had the squash soup and I had the chicken and wild rice. Both came out nice and hot (like soup should be). My ham sandwich was also excellent. New place = really nice/clean restrooms. I went in at 10:30 and then the breakfast was closed. I know you can just heat it up and cook lt really quick. Beside that, employe mrs. Lewis was not listening about the bagels being in the window but "sold out" on the tablet. This is not the usual Panera. It doesn't look like Panera; the booths are not like those in a usual Panera (If you are 6' tall and weigh 200lbs, you'll need a shoehorn to get in and they are uncomfortable), and the service is not like a usual Panera. There appeared to be four staff behind the counter and just one other couple in the shop except us: They were being served a large take out order. So we waited...and waited. Finally we got our turn. We ordered coffee and souffles. The coffee was great and the souffles were better than those served at Panera at the head office location in Pompano Beach. The food made it a four star experience. This newly designed Panera footprint is fresh and clean. Good seating layout, few obstructions in the dining area and online table order/touch screen capable check out options. Contrary to other reviews, I didn't think the parking poorly designed but the space is small and spots are limited and a busy lunch hour could be challenging. Incompetent. We used the drive through to order a hot tea and medium hazelnut coffee. We were told to pull into a spot and they would bring to us because they were brewing a new batch of coffee, my husband answered he'd take any coffee available since we were in a rush. They said they were brewing all new batches so we'd have to wait. Started out with the four wraps or sandwiches. We were third in line. First, kitchen tells us they're out of wraps. Well, two of us don't want sandwiches, so refund us and we will reorder. There are now five or six behind us in line. We reorder flatbread pizzas and get placed in the back of the line! We waited for two orders over 45 mins. The second order was taken out to the parking lot as if we ordered for curbside. We found our second order outside and jumped in the car to eat. Extremely friendly staff and exemplary customer service. We were traveling on interstate and I ordered online from our vehicle but mistakenly sent order to Valdosta (45 minutes further down the road). Upon arriving for pickup, I realized my error. The front counter person gave us two cups for free drinks and got the shift manager. She cancelled our order in Valdosta and had our gift card credited for the purchase price. We then ordered and consumed our meal in Tifton. Before we left , the front counter person gave us a free cookie as well. We went through the drive through recently, and we were very pleased with how quickly we received our food. I was concerned the food would not be hot once we arrived home, but it was delicious and hot. Based on our experience today I'm not sure why this location has 3 stars. We were looking for healthy food off of 75S for lunch and were thrilled to see a Panera amidst lots of delicious but unhealthy choices. First, the fella behind the counter was SO nice and friendly. He made sure to offer any deals they were having which my hubby took him up on. The place is newly renovated with a modern feel; very cushy booths, linen large round chandeliers, a sky light and very clean! Bathrooms were also clean. They weren't super busy so we may have been lucky to be experiencing a good lull where they have time to pick up. Hubby got the frontera chix Sammie with the .99 pastry upgrade and I got cheddar broccoli soup and Asian salad. All fresh and delicious. Hubby commented on the perfection of his focaccia.
