I'm giving a 5 star based on them being what they are (a small town usa version of an english pub), the food is SOLID bar food, enough local taps to fulfill your craft beer desires and the BEST service, both Hunter & Kassie were great. I love it when staff works together to make sure you are taken care of. Edit: just don't go to the bathroom. It's kept clean but needs a remodel stat. The Pub is definitely a locals place with a large group hanging out at the bar and having a great time. For 3 out-of-towners, we grabbed a table and kinda felt un-noticed for a while as the waitstaff seemed to know everyone else there. We did finally get service and ended up with some awesome food and beer. They had Allagash White on tap which is one of my favorites. They also had some good pizza selections. We shared the Large Stallion as well as some other misc items too. That pizza was excellent! There are plenty of chains and fast food in Tifton, but we tried to find some places that were not chains and we did pretty good with The Pub. I'd go back for beer and pizza for sure! read more

This is the only true pub in Tifton, GA. We ordered drinks and they were fine. We than ordered some staters such as chicken wings, cheese sticks. They also were very good especially the wings. we than ordered burgers and pizza. The food was very good and the service was wonderful. Prices were fair and our waiter had on a great smile and all in all we had a great visit this time. read more

I would have to say that for being a local pub this place is absolutely HORRIBLE! We ordered mozzarella sticks for appetizer and they tasted as if they came out of a bag and the marinara sauce reminded me of Raghu spaghetti sauce. We attempted to order the meatlovers pizza and it tasted like melted cheese on cardboard. We had to flag down the waitress which was super annoying! I will not recommend this place to anyone. This place was amazing! Great craft beer selection, and even better service. Went in alone, on a business trip, and it's always a little awkward. But the bartender was so nice and easy going (Alex I think), she made me feel at ease and suggested great food and drink pairings. OK for a bar if you just want a beer, but the food and service have a lot to be desired. We went there for lunch once and sat there nearly 20 minutes before we were acknowledged. We try to find local places to eat when traveling rather than the generic chain operations. My wife found The Pub on Yelp and while I was a little apprehensive she had made the decision so we made it our road trip lunch destination. If you decide to go there, I would advise using Google maps street view to help recognize the location. It's a place that could use some physical improvements, but I must say The Pub Burger that each of us ordered was probably one of the best burgers I have enjoyed in a while, cooked perfectly and a good size. The fries were very good as well, not like some store bought out of the freezer boring fries. Add some great service by Veronica made this a lunch stop that will be repeated next time we are around Tifton. read more

We have never been to Tifton GA. We found The Pub on Yelp. The Pub is not easy to find, a small sign off Hwy 41. Parking is a little weird. Signage says it is the Lamplighter. Once you get inside things are okay. It is an old building that needs some TLC. We met the owner Paul while we were there. Paul and his staff are very friendly, food menu looks great. We had their cheese sticks, cooked perfectly. Paul recently bought the bar and is working hard to make ot great. My only complaint is kids are allowed until 10PM. The kids in the pub when we were there were running around and screaming. If you are looking for a quiet place The Pub may not be your 1st choice. The staff makes up for a lot of this. My family had not been to the Pub since the new reopening under a new owner. We came in, took a seat in one of the booths, and waited.... and waited. We saw a couple of waitresses come by, bring food out etc. we were never acknowledged, not a " can I grab y'all a drink?"... not a " hey guys give me just a second"... nothing. We've been a few years without "The Pub" and will continue the course for obvious reasons. The restaurant industry is a tough one, but a little hospitality goes a very long way.
